I am really enjoying this mouse. Is it my favorite mouse? Hard to say, I have different mice for different things. I have a Naga Pro for MOBAs and MMOs, a Deathadder v2 Pro for FPS, and an Orochi for my gaming laptop. I also have a drawer full of other mice that I enjoy using from time to time like the Roccat Burst Pro that was my daily driver for nearly a year.So where does this mouse fit in? To me, this is the best all-rounder. The hyperscroll is great for getting through long webpages or spreadsheets. Combined with its comfortable ergonomic shape, and low noise and pleasant feel, it is excellent as an office mouse. However, it is great for FPS games as well. The main buttons feel nice to click. The side buttons are easy to find and press. And I have even found myself using the clutch every now and then when sniping. And I have come to appreciate the thumb rest. No more accidently dragging the edge of my thumb on the mousepad. The features do add some extra weight, however. This in turn makes it slightly less desirable than my Deathadder for shooters. But really not by much. I only notice the weight difference if I am quickly switching between them. In use though, I do just as well with the Basilisk as I do with the Deathadder. Both are comfy for long game sessions. with excellent ergonomics and good buttons. I do enjoy the scroll wheel on the Basilisk more than the Deathadder.I could probably press the Basilisk into service for a MOBA. However, I have grown accustomed to the Naga’s six button side panel. Since I have the option, I would probably be included to use that LoL or HotS (not that I play either much anymore). For MMOs there is nothing that can replace my Naga with the 12 button side panel. The Basilisk just cannot compete, and that’s ok. MMO mice a very specialized thing. If you are at the point where you need 24+ keybinds on your mouse, you probably already have this covered. But, if you need just one mouse in your life, I think the Basilisk is an excellent choice. Even if you are shopping office mice, give this one a look. The Smart-Reel Hyperscroll is a thing of beauty for the office once you get used to it. And when you are gaming, the sensitivity clutch can be really handy. Also, the lighting looks pretty cool and it’s easy to work with. Aesthetics are important too 😀

Had the wired version, liked it, bought this. Was initially off-put by the slanted front where your middle finger is lower than index finger but quickly got used to it, now feels very natural. Choice between clicky or free scrolling. On-board profiles so you don’t have to have Synapse running. Dual Bluetooth/USB dongle option a plus. Underglow lighting design. looks great.

Upgraded to this mouse from an older Razer DeathAdder Elite and absolutely love this model. Ergonomics are fantastic and button placement are better than expected—enabling usage of more of the 11 total customizable buttons than I was anticipating. Dual scroll wheel function with directional buttons work like a charm and has held up to a fair amount of abuse. The 11 customizable buttons are handy for games but are a deal-maker when it comes to simplifying and streamlining workflows. Compared to the DeathAdder Elite’s 16k DPI sensor, the 26k DPI sensor is [surprisingly] a noticeable step up in terms of precision/control in both games and work applications.I’m not crazy about having an additional app running in the background, but all I did was install it once to set up different profiles/button customizations and was able to un-install it while retaining all of the customizations. I overlooked this in on the product page, but even after uninstalling the app, the profiles were retained and can easily be switched via the rear button on the underside of the mouse. I’m also not big into the whole RGB peripheral craze, but colors are fantastic and light placement “refined” enough for it to still look “professional” enough for work.I got this mouse for ~25% off the list price, making the whole package even better, but would have still been pleasantly satisfied if I had to pay full price. Would 100% recommend for gaming or work.

These are great for every day use. To be honest most of the features like “RGB” and mapping functions to the extra buttons I completely skip over. I’m sure they’re useful for playing computer games where there’s very specific time pressure. For the stuff I use them for, writing documents, a bit of design work, a bit of circuit design, a bit of software dev, basically anything other than playing computer games, they’re great. The sensor is really sensetive so they work really well for very precise design work. The way the mouse wheel works on these is genius. They’ve added a buttom that lets one set the wheel between “free wheeling” and ” tightl;y controlled” with a single press. If you’re working on long documents, large diagrams, long web pages it’s just a click and you can move up and down the length of the page very quickly. Then just press the button again and you have precise control and you can slowly move from line to line and get to exactly where you need to be. Navigation with any other mouse now feels slow and sluggish to me.The little couloured lights are also useful, I have a few of these on the desk at once and setting them to different static colurs makes it easy to quickly identify which mouse is attached to which computer. The quality is good, I’ve had one of these Basilisk v3’s for about two years and no sign of any problems. I’ve had another Razer mouse for about eight years and while there are definite signs of wear it’s to be expectted with a device that gets used all day every day. That one still functions perfectly even though there are tiny cracks where the plastic has become brittle and the pads underneath are all but worn off. By comparison I bought a different high quality gaming mouse manufatured by a competitor in the same segment and with that one the gears on the mouse wheel wore enough to lose friction with the spindle to the point where the mouse wheel was really frustrating to try to use within six months, so eight years I’d say is good value for money.

Let’s be real, I spend a good chunk of time at my PC, and my old mouse was starting to feel, well, old. Laggy clicks, finicky scroll wheel… you get the picture. So, I decided to treat myself to the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro with the charging dock, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer (pun intended!).This mouse is smooth as butter. The wireless connection is flawless, no more tangled wires to mess with my mojo. The buttons are hyper-responsive, and I love the customizability options – I even programmed a button to instantly switch to my sniper scope in my favorite FPS. Plus, the charging dock is a lifesaver. No more scrambling for batteries mid-raid, just plop it down and keep on slaying.Speaking of slaying, the Basilisk V3 Pro helped me clutch up in a recent PVP battle. We were down to the wire, and I needed to make a quick, precise shot to take down the enemy flag carrier. Thanks to the laser-sharp sensor and lightning-fast clicks, I nailed it, securing victory for my team.If you’re a serious gamer (or even just a casual clicker like me), the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is worth every penny. It’s comfortable, precise, and seriously fun to use. Take my word for it, upgrade your game with this wireless wonder!

I really like clutch scroll wheels (the ones that go from clicky to free-spin when you flick them.) 10 years ago I tried the logitech version, which is great (they invented it), but it died after a year and a half, so I bought another one, and it too died after a year and a half. So I gave up on the idea and bought a g502.Fast forward a few years and Razer comes out with this mouse (the ballisk 3) and it’s basically a clone of the logitech g502 only with a clutch scroll wheel, and I hoped Razer was better at making those scroll wheels, so I buy one, and it’s a great mouse, but the scroll wheel on it too died after a year and a half (it got stuck in free-spin). But Razer replaced it for free (though I did have to send them a video of the problem, which was too much work). So anyway, it’s a great mouse, but it’ll die after 18 months, but the warranty covers it for 24, so I guess you’re paying for 36 months of mouse, and at some point in time you’re going to have to produce a video demonstrating the problem (which is hard because the scroll wheel doesn’t really look different when it’s spinning, so you’ll need to put a sticker on it or something.)Anywho, if that sounds alright to you, it really is a great mouse: Basically a slightly better version of the g502 with a clutch scroll wheel.

Bought this to replace sons original after about 18 months of daily game playing. Only reason the original broke is because my son dropped it when we were adding the Razer Goliathus gaming pad. Landed on the wheel and broke the interior housing a bit. Was still functional, just not as smooth. Used some of his Christmas money to buy the same one as he loves the functionality of it for all the FPS gaming he plays. Personally I find it very comfortable when I get to use it as well. A great product that stands up to daily, vigorous game play.

Having used mainly Logitech mice, most recently the G703 and G403 before that, I decided to get this mouse after getting disappointed by the new Superlight 2 and G502X. I loved the shape and hand feel of the G703 for my palm grip use. Logitech has pretty much abandoned this mouse shape and the new gaming mice are smaller and do not have the higher and longer palm rest of the G703.Using Rting’s 3D mouse shape comparison tool, I was able to overlay the G703 against other mice. Only 2 mice were an EXACT dimension fit for the G703 – this Basilisk V3 and V3 Pro and the Glorious i. Having had Razer accessories before, I knew the Basilisk would be a more refined mouse given Razer’s reputation. I am very pleased with this mouse. For gaming and work, it is very comfortable and has not given me any issues in my few weeks of ownership. A added plus is it tracks on GLASS – something the Logitech gaming mice does not do.Anyway, very pleased with my purchase. My gripes: The added cost of a receiver to use 4K polling rate is pretty disappointing as this mouse is already expensive. Razer’s desktop software is pretty terrible with tons of extra bloatware. I just set up the mouse to the onboard profile and deleted the software afterward.Until Logitech releases a G703 X Superlight (or Razer a lighter version of this Basilisk V3), I’ll stick with this mouse.

There’s not much to complain about with this mouse. It’s light, has a very flexible cord to prevent accidental movement, and has great input options for programmability. Best of all though, I actually really like the “smart reel” thing to switch between a tactile and free spin scroll wheel. It’s surprisingly not just a gimmick. I’ve had some issues with the razer synapse RGB control, but I think that’s because all my razor peripherals are connected through a USB hub (which they say not to do). I definitely recommend this, especially for the price

I was in the market to find a good mouse for my laptop to replace the existing one I had. I saw good reviews for this one and so I decided to give it a try.I love it!This mouse is very comfortable on my hand and I really enjoy having the ability to scroll tightly and then free scroll mode when I really do a big scroll. The colors are nice and the application to modify the colors is very helpful in custom designing the lighting. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t retain my setting when my computer is locked but as soon as it is unlocked, it goes back to my lighting setting. I wish it would retain my setting on the mouse no matter if my computer is locked or even if I plug it into a different computer that doesn’t have the software.
