I ordered two panic buttons for me and my daughter. They are easy to install (from the keypad) and there are three settings you can use – a silent alarm which will dispatch first responders without the monitoring center calling you first (you must have the monitoring service subscription), another setting which will have the monitoring center call you first before dispatching police and an off setting. The panic button adds another safety to the SimpliSafe system and adds a lot of peace of mind!

Great price and prime delivery. We have had Simplisafe for a few years now and love the system. We just realized we only had one panic alarm in the bedroom and needed one at the back door and inside door. This was a good way to get way we needed quick and easily. Installs just like any other Simplisafe accessory, takes about 5 minutes to attach to the wall and program into the base station. Highly recommend these add ons and the entire Simplisafe system.

The original panic button for whatever reason, stopped working in our Simplisafe whole house system.The new panic button looked identical and was installed in a few seconds and was up and running.

I installed my Simplisafe system a couple of years ago, and swear by it. I’ve had no problems with it, the sales staff is top notch, and the technical staff is amazing. This Panic Button is the 2nd one I’ve installed, and took me about a minute. The Panic Button is a necessary accessory, and one that you hope you never have to use, but it’s comfortable knowing that it’s there just in case you DO need it. Like all Simplisafe parts you can run occasional testing to make sure everything works. Simplisafe is what it’s name implies: Simple and Safe!

I have TWO of the systems, one newer, the other the older version. The older version is at another home, and other than a base station battery leak, it’s wonderful! It’s even been tested live twice! The police came, and we were out on the boat! The newer system is at our primary home, and it’s a black base station and keypad. Easy to install, and easy to ADD sensors.

This is probably a peace of mind item. No one really needs a panic button. A gun would probably be more effective. But my gf def feels safer knowing that there is some sort of way to notify everyone in the neighborhood of our danger.

I bought this panic button to put into my bathroom in case I fall while in the shower. I have a medical condition that numbs my feet and I worry about slipping or falling and this panic button gives me a little bit of security knowing that I will be able to call for help if I do ever fall and cant get back up. I attached it to the outside of my tub and it linked to my already existing system with ease.
