    The smart hub saved me from buying the on line exorbitantly priced storage. It works well and is easy to set up but finding where to view the recordings via the app is not obvious. Once found it is easy to see each incident. The app could be improved in this area.

    Although the directions say you can use Arlo camera’s without this, it’s essentially a lie. I tried direct connection to my wifi and the doorbell worked, but any camera I tried to add wouldn’t stay connected. This device solved the issue.

    Got this installed along with my new Pro-4 cameras after a search of Arlo Support Web site. The quick start guide nor the app tell you to disable your VPN prior to adding the hub. Once I did that the install was quick and the cameras synched up to the hub seamlessly.

    Had to reset twice but once the 3 cameras were picked up by the hub they work great! So good in fact I had to tweak the settings and turn off motion and just leave on person, package, animals, entry and now the notifications are more manageable. Low cost and reliable system and I would definitely recommend.
