The price is right and they are perfect to add sound around the house. They do not compete with home theater speakers that cost thousands of dollars but they are surprisingly good for their size and price.

So I am using these as satellite speakers with 2 tower speakers. For that purpose awesome. (I tried a little experiment with twin 2 of them together for a center channel speaker.) Surround speakers for less than $60. Awesome sound – I liked them so much I bought 3 sets. Brackets that come with, are more than enough to handle the weight of the speakers.

I was skeptical ordering these speakers, considering the 100W impedance at 8 ohms.Out of the box the extremely hollow, lightweight feel was discouraging.Once they were connected I was surprised to say the least.I use the “legendary,” vintage Yamaha A-700 amplifier, rated at an actual 100WPC, and rumored to push 120 WPC max.These inexpensive speakers are managing 50% volume without distortion. TMy 350 watt Technics floor speakers can be heard a block away at the same volume.I couldnt be more satisfied with these as a patio speaker.Great mid and highs. Lows/bass are their weakness but they are obviously not going to provide thump/bass with a tiny woofer and magnet.Great for general listening with enough volume to cover an outdoor area of at least 1000 sq/ft if powered appropriately.Highly recommended.
