So I bought these not for the intended use but to snip the ends off to wire them to lighting fixtures.Much cheaper than buying stand-alone cords.They are really EXCELLENT for that use.Super high-quality outer casing, and inner wires and insulation.For a fraction of the cost of a simple AC plug with stripped wires at the other end.If you need a new cord on something, and are handy, grab these.

Most power cables that come with stereo receivers are low current 18 gauge. I like being able to get these in 3’ (neater in the back of the cabinet) and 5’ lengths with a higher power rating.

I bought these to replace the cables that came with my Aputure 200x LED lights. The included cords are only three feet long, which is way to short to use on set. I bought these as replacements and it’s perfect. They are the right gauge for carrying the power and let me reach the wall without bringing out extension cords.
