was the screw. Not metric, not SAE, not sure what it was, but I needed it. You can’t buy it, so this works, and is actually loads better than what you get with the inreach ..

I searched and purchased 2 window mounts for my Garmin Mini Inreach and I wasted my money. Well neither window mounts I purchased mentioned you have to have this clip that came in with the original Inreach. Works perfect now!Hope this helps someone save some $$$$

This product has held up through more falls and tumbles than I am willing to admit. It hasn’t come loose once!!!!

Immediately added shrink wrap and tubing over cord as it frayed each time cord touched the Velcro. This was recommended by other users on uTube. With this change it works as it should and is great way to check display and get it back in place for best satellite communication. Additional expense and inconvenience of need to purchase was annoying. MEC sales person when bought Mini 2 and tether together was not aware he should also have sold the back (in fact they didn’t carry it and told me I had to buy it online). It had previously been included with the Mini (1). It’s a must have if you want to use the tether to keep the inReach Mini 2 quickly accessible.
