This case is great quality and definitely seems like it would protect the iPad if dropped, but you will need a screen protector as well. I bought a glass screen protector and the case fits nicely around it. I feel very comfortable using the iPad and don’t feel like I have to worry about wear and tear at all.

Our daughter picked this out. We thought it looked silly, but we should listen to her more ;-). She’s 8. Fantastic case, feels good in hands, protective, and attached perfectly to back of headrest in our Toyota Highlander. She can attach and detach fine by herself too. Drove 7 hrs to Disneyland and this worked fantastic for her. And the stand feature works well too. Happy kid happy life.

I bought an OtterBox case at Best Buy the day I bought my daughters iPad but the stand was a separate piece from the case so I shopped around for another one that was more practical. Bought a few cheap cases that looked protective. When they got here one of them was an imitation otterbox and felt like the flimsiest piece of plastic.So after returning that one I decided to just buy another otterbox and stop wasting time trying to save a few bucks. I’m so glad I found this one it’s so awesome. I haven’t gotten to use it in the car yet but I love that it has that option.Also I see a lot of people saying it falls over when using the stand. The stand is very stiff when you first get it, you have to flex it back and forth and loosen it up. The stand should be able be bent back a good ways and it should be very sturdy when holding the iPad up. There’s never any reason for it to fall over if you have it bent back far enough and correctly.We have now had this for almost a month and it’s hit the concrete from being thrown out of the car, been bounced off the floor numerous times A DAY, and the iPad has not sustained a speck of damage. In fact it just hit the floor as my toddler just fell holding it as I’m typing this lol and it’s perfectly fine. I also have a screen protector on it that I bought separately because I hate cases that have them built in. I will update if the ipad doesn’t make it at some point.
