    I had a small MariaDB/PostgreSQL server than needed an update from a horribly show decade old hard-drive. I’ve probably done a dozen or more HD->SSD updates or reinstalls. This particular box runs Archlinux. This drive installed easily (with a separately purchased SSD/HD drive-caddy) and is blisteringly fast comared to what it replaced. Would happily buy this drive again.

    Used this to replace a cheapo SSD found on amazon – don’t spend money on cheap SSD drives, they end up being higher capacity drives that didn’t pass QC and were dumped. Disreputable sellers take these and put them in blank cases and sell them with lower capacity ratings hoping they’ll work. But they don’t…Buy a good name brand like this one save yourself a headache, AND YOUR DATA!
