Dell Precision 7560 , Intel 11th Gen i7, 64GB, Win 11 Pro, 23H2, works great with Dual Monitor, then I bought an Samsung CRG9 49″ Ultra wide monitor. On Win 11, resolution was stuck at low resolution 1900×1440 (?) when monitor plugged into Anker hub, I couldn’t figure it out, I did some research, and re-read Samsung monitor manual. 5120×1440 (recommeded) max resolution on this monitor only “..works when plugged in directly into PC”. I plugged HDMI cable directly into laptop and it 5120×1440 setting was recognized and accessible. Anker Hub manual states following:HDMI / DisplayPort – For computers supporting DisplayPort 1.4:Up to 4K@60Hz for a single display, and up to 2K@60Hzfor two displays. For computers supporting Display Port 1.2:Up to 4K@30Hz for a single display, and 1080p@60Hzfor two displays

Got a new work laptop, Dell from Lenovo, and the Lenovo dock wasn’t working correctly. I use it with a KVM to switch between work and personal, but it stopped working correctly with the new laptop. I guessed that maybe the Lenovo laptop wasn’t providing enough power to the dock with the new dell laptop. The Lenovo charger is proprietary so I couldn’t just use the Dell USB-C Charger, so this was the solution. It’s not the cheapest, but its actually cheap for an Anker product which is great, as Anker is generally pretty good.

I picked this up on prime day and use this hub with my 2023 MacBook Pro as well as my work laptop (Dell Inspiron 5420). It is able to charge both laptops when I use it and output 4K/60Hz to my LG 4K monitor. Gigabit ethernet also works flawlessly with this device and gives a speedy connection whenever I use this hub. With all the ports, I also have the usb receiver for my logitech mouse/keyboard connected to the hub so that I can easily switch devices. One issue I did have is that my older 2017 MacBook Pro will only output at 4K/30Hz when going through this hub. I had to connect that monitor directly to my MBP in order to get 4K/60Hz. This is because the hub uses DisplayPort 1.4 and my older MacBook Pro uses DisplayPort 1.2 (Apple didn’t support DP 1.4 until 2018). Although DP 1.2 supports 4K/60, the hub needs 2 of the lanes for gigabit ethernet and usb 3.0, so it can’t output 4K/60Hz with these older devices. Since I have 4 usb-c ports on my 2017 MacBook Pro, it isn’t really a big deal using 2 ports instead of one.

Laptop tested on: Lenovo Legion 7 16ACHg6Operating System: Windows 11This is a quality docking hub. Feels sturdy and the materials overall don’t look cheap or feel flimsy. Provides Display Port, HDMI, 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, 3x USB-A, 1x USB-C, 3.5mm Jack for audio output, Micro SD/SD card ports, and an additional USB-C PD (100W) port for charging simultaneously.I have Gigabit internet connection which I was able to confirm that it’s able to pull almost 950 Mbps over the Ethernet port. For video connectivity I tested both Display Port and HDMI connectivity. Verified that I was able to get 2560x1440p at 165hz (DP) and 144hz (HDMI). The Nvidia control panel shows g-sync ability when I checked with DP cable connected and I haven’t noticed any weird issues when it comes to VRR.The 3.5mm jack works as intended. Sound quality doesn’t seem to be impacted, though it does appear it has lost some gain once the sound is pushed through the hub as its not quite as loud as it is connected directly to the laptop. The other USB ports both A and C have been tested and verified to work. I have not tested charging with PD 100w connectivity with it yet, as it would be mostly fruitless since my laptop really needs the included 300w power supply to reach full power.I have tested the SD card slot and it reads/writes with no problems. I have not tested the Micro SD card slot but assume it works as intended.Overall I am pleased with this USB-C docking hub from Anker. It works for all my use cases and I haven’t experienced any weird issues with USB devices dropping, video signal drops, etc.

Update: By process of elimination, I was able to figure everything out. Firstly, I was using the 30W charger that came with the M1 Macbook Air and not getting the juice that I needed. I then used an Anker 65W I had for a phone in my household and it worked perfectly. I was also getting glitches on the 4K monitor, so I replaced the HDMI cable with a newer and faster one. It works perfectly now (so far), so I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. All this being said, I highly recommend this adapter, I’m very happy with it now that I ironed out all the kinks surrounding my own set up. It does exactly what Anker advertises! I’d definitely purchase another in the future as a backup. Also, Anker support reached out to me immediately after seeing this review and offered a full refund. I definitely appreciate the gesture, but I’m going to refuse the refund.Original review:All the ports work as described except for the Power Delivery pass-through. I don’t know if I received a bad unit, because my friend has an identical one and it works for him perfectly. My unit charges my M1 Macbook Air very very slowly, and it sometimes loses power while plugged in depending on the weight of the tasks running. That being said, I’m using the 30W charger that came with the laptop.I’m in Panama, so I can’t send it back. I hope they see this and send me another unit.

My IT Dept suggested this Anker 565 USB-C Hub (11-in-1) as a docking station for the CPU when working from the home office.

It worked for me to add a second external monitor to my setup. The price was good and the extra ports will probably come in handy for me later. The only thing is that I have 2 USB-C ports in my workstation but I seem to only be able to use one when this is in use. I don’t know if this is a limitation of my laptop or of this hardware.

So I have an older Anker hub which couldn’t work with my new 4k portable monitor. This one does, and I am happy. 😀🤙🏾

Mine has gone through a beating and is still kicking. Never have to worry about it not working. Plug it in and use it. I went through several other ones trying to save a buck (or 50) and they always went out in a couple of months. this one on the other hand does it all and does it right. Solid product.
