UGREEN Micro USB 3.0 Cable USB 3.0 Type A Male to Micro B Cord Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S5 Note 3 Camera Hard Drive and More 1.5ft

Purchased for the use of having another cable since my old one broke that originally came with my external hard drive. They have multiple sizes but my personal choice was the smaller one. Plugged into PC and USB hard drive and simply worked. I might add that it worked better than my old cable as transfer speeds were slightly better with the new cable. I did test a few times to make sure and it was in fact slightly faster. Good cable and good value.

Cable length is a bit on the awkward but is very durable and sturdy. So much better than the one that came with the Seagate BUP external hard drive.

I bought this because I needed a short cable to attach my harddrive to USB but the one I had was too short. My other drive came with a cable this lenth so I thought, I’ll just buy a new cable.This cable is like the hulk, it is thick and hefty and not very bendable. I guess this is good for durablility. not so good for flexiblility. It’s a good price and I think as long as I don’t abuse the ends, it will last a long time.I have one of those Dollar Tree slide shelving units, and I took the shelve out of the frame and doubleside taped it to the side of my computer case, and have both my drives sitting in it. The cable runs from the the hard drives mounted on the side, to the front. just a short distance. They drape down a bit but don’t sit on the desk. This cord is so sturdy I will need a cord minder to hold it back when it is not plugged in

I bought this cord to replace an Amazon Basics cord that had issues right away. The manufacturer’s cord lasted about 1.5 years before it started having issues, which was supposed to be fixed by the Amazon cable. The Amazon cable immediately had transfer rate issues depending on the orientation of the cord, but eventually stopped working completely just after the return period.I have had this one for about 2 months. The transfer rate is great, and all games load quickly. Haven’t had any issues since getting this cable regardless of cable orientation i.e. I can move my system without issues. I also liked that there was a shorter length option – don’t need 3+ feet from external to system. The price is comparable to the Basics version, but the build quality seems better.I have had other UGreen cords in the past, and they are amazing. They have great prices and the products are long-lasting. Been looking for a replacement for my external hdd cable that broke and this one was perfect. I’m glad Amazon has these now because they were harder to find a few years ago.
