The media could not be loaded. This pair of Anker cables I got because, I wanted quality lighting cables. IPhone owners know, cables made from weird brands do not last long at all, maybe a few months. I’m tired of buying multiple charge cables for my IPhone.The included factory cable by Apple is top notch but, way too short. So I chose the pair of 10-foot cables, Lightning to USB-C. They look really cool, kinda like a shiny metallic grey. The plug tips are black rubber, very grippy. Both tip ends also have Anker engraved into the rubber, on one side.One cable sits by the surround speaker, plugged into the Anker dock. It’s up against the wall, out of the way. Our living room layout is weird, and I wanted it to be able to at least reach a couple couches. I haven’t figured out where I’m gonna put the second cable yet. Both cables have a Velcro tie, so the cables can easily be shortened.Overall I love them. They are definitely thicker, and the tips feel like they could be weighted slightly, making it easier to stay on a desk or table top. The plugin feels solid, and tight, like it’s supposed to. Another awesome product by Anker. Well thought through.

**** UPDATE ****Contacted by seller and offered to either refund or replace the cords!! I chose replacements and they shipped the same day. Amazing customer service which is why this is the only brand I trust because they stand behind their brand!!Purchased these two cords because I’ve always found Anker to have the most reliable phone chargers. Used both of these for four months and they both broke within literal days of each other. I used one and my daughter used the other one. Hers came apart first and she had a really hard time getting the piece that broke off out of the charging port on her phone. Mine broke 3 or 4 days later but the piece that broke off in my charging port fell out on its own.I’m very disappointed that these cords didn’t last longer than they did. Maybe it was a defective batch since they came apart basically at the same time? I don’t know but I’m back to buy more phone cords because it’s long past the return window.I wonder how much money I’ve spent through the years buying iPhone chargers? I’m pretty sure I don’t want to know!
