Quality product! Sound is awesome for a $60 system, at 40mph and lower its great. It’s plenty loud enough, but as you approach 60 mph and up truth is no stereo is going to sound like a home audiophile system. Bottom line is ‘buy it’!Customer service is first rate, they are great! Also, I read some complaints about bass. When I first connected the speakers they too sounded a bit flat. I clicked onto my Poweramp music player and set it to large concert hall and max bass and presto… truly impressive rich sound! My install – I mounted the speakers on the handlebars just inside the windshield. Then, ran all the wires and the amp into a small, front fork mounted, ‘tool bag’ type pouch. The main issue is the red hot wire. I must have watched a dozen youtube videos on this subject. I usually ride with my high beam on. I know its obnoxious, but down here in Florida anything you can do to stay visible is a life saver. I unscrewed the chrome cover that holds the daymaker headlight in place. Sadly, Harley does not provide an auxiliary wire in the headlight wiring harness of Sportster’s. At least not in mine. There are three wires entering the headlight assembly from a hole in the back. Black wire is ground, white wire is High Beam, yellow wire is Low Beam. I used a plastic splice connector from Home Depot to connect the red Boss power wire to the white High Beam wire. (AMP Splice Tap Connectors 10 pack). The hole in the back of the headlight assembly where Harley runs the headlight wires – Harley runs the wire harness though the hole with a rubber bushing that protects the wires and keeps water from getting in. I tried to slice the rubber bushing so that I could add the Boss red hotwire but it was cramped quarters and I couldnt get in there without taking the chance of cutting the headlight wires also. You may be able to do it, I couldn’t. I ran the red power wire through the hole and at the point where it touched the metal headlight housing I covered the wire with an extra couple of layers of electrical tape to protect it from the housing wearing through the insulation and shorting the amp. Then, pushed the rubber bushing back into the hole. It wasn’t a perfect fit, there was a slight gap because of the red wire I installed. It also wasn’t a terrible fit – and then I put the headlight and headlight retainer back into place. After continual testing at every stage, and when I was sure all worked as it should, I used a dab of black silicone caulk and filled in the gap between the rubber bushing and the outside of the headlight assembly. This also helped hold the red power wire in place and reduce any chance of shorting against the headlight casing. I ran the ground wire outside the headlight housing for a few inches to a windshield mounting bolt and tightened it down. (I didn’t want the ground wire taking up space going through the headlight hole, so I split the red power wire and the ground wire before the power wire entered the headlight housing hole. You may find it works just fine running both wires through, especially after using caulk to close up the hole where the wires enter.) Finally, I used zip ties to connect the volume button to the left side windshield mount, very close to where my hand naturally fits onto the handlebar grip. I believe you want the volume control where your left hand can safely get to it without too much reaching.Final result is my Boss audio system works only when the high beam is on. And when the bike is turned off there is no chance of the amp staying on and draining the battery. Also, my install required no drilling, no running wires under gas tanks and seats, and no toggle switch. I love having music now!!! Safe riding!

Attached to our Honda shadow and it works fantastic. The sound was clear, loud and the equipment was all there to attach to the handles. They move only when you physically turn them yourself. Well worth it!

So far so good, installed the amp on a 2021 HD Electra Glide inside of the front fairing above the tray in the dash board. Tapped into switched power at the cigarette lighter/12v power socket.Extremally easy install, toughest part was getting the speaker mounts to be tight enough on the handlebars but went smoothly when is used the thick piece of rubber cut into 2 – 3/4″ pieces and just used those 2 smaller pieces to get the mount to fit securely. (1″ bars).Bass is a bit light but volume is good. 65+ mph with a half helmet. Haven’t tested yet with my full face.Bluetooth connects flawlessly to iphone.I would say these are absoluteley worth their price (as long as they hold up – time will tell that). You can also swap in a better pair of speakers later down the road with more bass. The amp will work with any speakers. So far, very happy with this purchase.

nice little unit that fits in the saddle bag. this is my third unit in about ten years. sounds good on my heritage with slash-cut pipes at 70+ so in my eyes it does a great job.the only thing I wish it had longer speaker wires. had to cut and splice longer wires.remember this is not a high-dollar stereo.

Let me begin by saying I am not a handy person. I am lucky to put gas in the tank. So I had been looking at these speakers for over a year and was just intimidated by the electrical work. I had read several reviews about using kill switches and watched various videos about how to properly wire this. I bit the bullet and bought it a few weeks ago.I continued to watch videos and even asked my father-in-law about the wiring. I am quite proud it took me only 2 trips to the auto parts store. I basically got everything hooked up and then set about attaching it to my motorcycle. Honestly, the biggest challenge was attaching the speakers to the handlebars. It would have gone much quicker if I were an octopus with fingers on each tentacle. But I got it done. When I hooked up the wiring and turned on the switch, I heard the beeps! I was ecstatic! It works!!I am still working on the excess wiring and keeping it safely tucked away. I have a few ideas though. I just want to make sure it does not fall out, especially if I’m out riding. As far as quality, the volume is not the issue. I have yet to go above 45-50 mph with it on. It is plenty loud for kicking around town. Bear in mind while it does have an amp, it is just two speakers. This is not like going to the movies or having surround sound in a man cave. Nonetheless, it works great for just listening to your choice of music (and having other people hear it, too!).Overall, I am very happy with these speakers. I am so glad, too, I installed it myself.

What an easy way to massively improve the enjoyment of your ride!! Installation was a breeze and the sound quality is fantastic. It will go loud enough to hear over the loudest pipes. This is a no-brainer purchase.

When you’re riding a riker with a stock exhaust and you can’t really hear the music that’s not good! Do not recommend this to anyone who wears safety gear in a helmet you’re not going to hear it possibly the only way you would hear it is you have to mount it on your handlebars which adds unnecessary weight I do not recommend this for anyone!

I put thousands into my Victory Cross Country’s sound system and I put $800 into my Victory Vision…and THEN….my wife’s small V-Star 650 needed music so I bought this one (chrome) and put it on for a hundred and she loved it riding from L.A. to Sturgis. I then bought her a VTX 1300 and I put one on that was as well…and THEY both sound GREAT for the price. I decided to uplug the fancy system on my touring Victory Vision and just put one of these on: I like it better! Best Bargain (this is my first review).
