I wanted to give these a few weeks to test out and give Tozo’s NC7 headphones a proper workout.I’ve owned Tozo’s T10 set for over 4 years now, so when I received the NC7 set, I was expecting more of the same (decent tenor sounds, mostly okay bass but too soft on the thump, large charging case, and soft fitting ear buds that don’t stay as well as I would like, but well enough to do what I need). That said, they have been the best wireless earbuds I’ve had for 4 years. Battery life has been outstanding, range is phenomenal, and they’ve taken punishment and handled it well.I’m happy to say the NC7 set doesn’t just do well, it exceeds where the T10 set doesn’t.First off, the charging case is much smaller. The case fits in my pocket and is super unobtrusive. Charging works the same, either by plugin via USB-C or Qi Charge on a pad. Both work very well, and charge in the same amount of time. The case itself charges a set of depleted earbuds within an hour. Opening the case shows how much charging power is left for the case to charge the earbuds. Once you close the case, the lights go off and your earbuds disconnect from bluetooth and are left to charge. The magnets used to hold the earbuds hold them always in the right position.Cons of the case are that getting the earbuds out is a little challenging the first couple of times. The holes in place for fingers are in the wrong spot, so your finger slips off of them. Just pulling them from the edge out of the case gets them out a lot easier, but first time can make them feel a little slippery. Not knowing how much longer until the earbuds are charged is a change from the T10 units, but once you realize that they charge really fast, that becomes less of a worry. The charge hold on the case is less than the T10 as well as a trade off for a much smaller case that can fit in a pocket comfortably. Finally opening the case means the earbuds turn on, which is both a good and bad. Good because they’re ready from the moment you open them, bad because you might be hitting an earbud button as you try to get them out and put them in your ear.The earbuds themselves are the most comfortable I’ve had. They hold solid in my ear, moreso than the T10 units ever did. The shape helps out a lot with this, as they sit nicely in my ear and aren’t obtrusive. I’ve worn them for nearly a full day before wanting to take them off. The battery life is nearly 8 hours of constant use, as I often listen to music most of the day, or while working outside. Which brings me to the Active Noise Cancellation.The NC7 has to have in my opinion the best ANC of any set of headphones I’ve used, and that’s comparing them against Sony, JVC, and several others. Turning the ANC on or off is very easy, and controlled with the left earbud. Just swiping down on the left chooses between ANC on, Off, or ‘Transparent Mode’ which is basically like putting a shell to your ear and hearing everything external.With the ANC on, I’ve used lawnmowers, walked along a beach, biked used a vacuum cleaner, used electric blowers, walked past active fire engines. All of those things get reduced by almost 95% or more of what you would hear. It knocks out all the external decibels and literally blew me away with how quiet it made the outside world while delivering sound from what I’m playing. Phone conversations with the ANC on are AMAZING.ANC off still helps with external, but the Transparent mode really works so well to be able to keep the earbuds in while hearing conversations happening. I used the Transparent mode while biking and found it kept things safe while still being able to hear my music.As for the sound, the bass is way better than the T10 units. Thump and low range is definitely there, and the highs are much clearer. Range as well is impressive. I’ve had my phone two rooms away without having any drop in signal or quality.Cons are that the buttons on the left and right earbuds are a little soft/almost too easy to accidentally press, but once I figured out where to hold the units from, I made less mistakes pressing when I didn’t need to.Accessories are different earbuds (I’m using the default as those were the most comfortable) and a charging USB to USB-C wire.For the price, I would say these are a great value, and they beat out other pairs I’ve worn in the past which cost more, and delivered less. For myself, I usually don’t give glowing five star reviews, but honestly these are the best earbuds I’ve owned in a long time. Kudos to the Tozo team on a massive upgrade in design and function.

I have purchased 4 pairs of NC2 for different family members. Tozo gave me a promotional pair of NC7s to use and rate. I will be comparing these to the NC2 made by same company.At first glance, they look big compared to the NC2s when you open the case. The NC7 has no stem while the NC2 does. I did not notice any difference on call quality and sound was great on both. I think the NC2 offers better bass, especially in ANC mode. I am not an audiophile but this is one difference I even recognized.I also find that the NC7 was difficult to position initially. After I got the hang of it, I was able to get them in and out of my ear AND the case easier. It is near impossible to put these in without hitting the function buttons on the earbuds. Usually you have to “re-set” your ANC, Pause/play and volume once they are in. So even if you take them out for a few seconds to scratch your ear, you will find yourself resetting the levels almost every time. Due to the NC2s stem design, you have a place to hold onto that is not on top of the function buttons. I still have to adjust settings every once in a while with the NC2s but not near as much as these NC7s.I find that the NC7 seems to stay in your ear a little better than the NC2s. It is common for the NC2s to fall out of the ear. One of the downsides to that earbud. The NC7s fell out twice in my last three hour period of hard labor which is much better than the NC2s. I find my self adjusting the NC2s about every 10-15 minutes to prevent them from falling out.At the gym, both pair excelled equally. ANC blocked out noise and the bluetooth connection was able to reach every part of the gym while leaving my phone the locker area. Since both pairs use the same functions (with the exception of an added ANC function on the NC7) controls were easy to navigate. On either pair I personally have not lost the bluetooth connection walking up to 70 feet away from the phone. Both cases charge the phone in seemingly good time although the NC7 case is a little shorter due to the fact that there are no stems. Cleaning the case contacts on the NC2 are more difficult since you have to get all the way into the deeper narrow section where the stem sits. As a side note, I had one case that stopped charging the NC2 earbuds. Tozo was quick to respond and sent out another pair of earbuds (not just the case). I think comfort is great on both pair but the NC7 eeks out a win here by a very slim margin. They just feel “lighter” in the ear. I have no idea what the actual weights are of each pair but the feel seems lighter and may be the result of not having the stem. Neither pair are heavy by any means.These are a solid set of earbuds, especially for those who wish to have a stemless design. The call quality is good and the comfort is decent. They tend to stay in your ears well. They are a bit difficult at first to get in and used to but that eases quickly. however, the fact that you turn on and off your playlist a few times or turn on and off the ANC a few times just to get these things in your ears. Not a deal breaker but kinda annoying nonetheless. Bluetooth works flawlessly and the case can hold a charge for repeated charges of the earbuds. The USB-C connection charges the case rather quickly.IF I had to choose, I would still go with the NC2 by a hair. Although I am no sound expert, I like the bass a bit better, especially when ANC is on. but the difference is small. Even though I have to adjust them regularly, the stem makes this easy. Both sets perform well on calls and bluetooth distance using an iPhone 12 Pro MAX. Any other differences/experiences between the two sets would be nit picking coming from me. Maybe an audiophile would have more to add.I have tried quite a few bluetooth earbuds over the last 5 years ranging from $25-$125 and have taken the input of my teenage kids who also use them (and lose them). Tozo has been our go to brand for the last 18 months and we have purchased products from them several times. They offer great customer service and an exceptional value for ANC earbuds In a heartbeat I would buy these NC7s especially if you are looking for a stemless design. I will continue to use both sets on a regular basis.

I purchased these earbuds for $50 a few months ago, after searching diligently for some budget-friendly headphones. I wanted a pair of headphones that have the design and stylish convenience of earbuds, while also reaching for the sound quality and active noise cancellation that comes with over-ear headphones. The TOZO NC7 earbuds checked all the boxes and then some.*Some of the features that have impressed me the most include:1) The noise cancellation – You simply wont find better quality elsewhere for $50. Not only is the quality comparable to flagship earbuds that would typically cost $150-$300, but the noise cancellation is customizable per the users preference/environment (via optional TOZO app). I often wear my earbuds just to use the nc so I can have peace and quiet while out grocery shopping.2) The extended battery life. I use these earbuds to talk on the phone a lot and so far, I’ve only had to charge them twice.3) The optional TOZO app that allows for further setting preferences and features.4) The included bundle of assorted size tips to ensure my earbuds were a perfect fit.5) Overall sound quality. High-grade; and upon first impression, I was immediately impressed with the bass being pushed out of these tiny baby buds.I liked these earbuds so much that I bought my mum a pair. She enjoys the nc while walking along the beach.

I thought the NC9s, which I have, were the newer and/or better than the NC7s but I read a review that said the number referred to the mm diameter of the driver and not the “model number” as I initially thought. In fact, I think the NC7s are newer than the NC9s.The sound is wide and the base thumps separately from the other music making the bass full and clear. It actually thumps and rumbles in all the right places and does not muddy up the rest of the music.The ANC and call quality is unbelievable for buds at this price. I’ve never seen them at list price, usually listed at $50 but they’ll go on sale for $40 at which they are AN UNBELIEVABLE BARGAIN.
