I wanted to give these a few weeks to test out and give Tozo’s NC7 headphones a proper workout.I’ve owned Tozo’s T10 set for over 4 years now, so when I received the NC7 set, I was expecting more of the same (decent tenor sounds, mostly okay bass but too soft on the thump, large charging case, and soft fitting ear buds that don’t stay as well as I would like, but well enough to do what I need). That said, they have been the best wireless earbuds I’ve had for 4 years. Battery life has been outstanding, range is phenomenal, and they’ve taken punishment and handled it well.I’m happy to say the NC7 set doesn’t just do well, it exceeds where the T10 set doesn’t.First off, the charging case is much smaller. The case fits in my pocket and is super unobtrusive. Charging works the same, either by plugin via USB-C or Qi Charge on a pad. Both work very well, and charge in the same amount of time. The case itself charges a set of depleted earbuds within an hour. Opening the case shows how much charging power is left for the case to charge the earbuds. Once you close the case, the lights go off and your earbuds disconnect from bluetooth and are left to charge. The magnets used to hold the earbuds hold them always in the right position.Cons of the case are that getting the earbuds out is a little challenging the first couple of times. The holes in place for fingers are in the wrong spot, so your finger slips off of them. Just pulling them from the edge out of the case gets them out a lot easier, but first time can make them feel a little slippery. Not knowing how much longer until the earbuds are charged is a change from the T10 units, but once you realize that they charge really fast, that becomes less of a worry. The charge hold on the case is less than the T10 as well as a trade off for a much smaller case that can fit in a pocket comfortably. Finally opening the case means the earbuds turn on, which is both a good and bad. Good because they’re ready from the moment you open them, bad because you might be hitting an earbud button as you try to get them out and put them in your ear.The earbuds themselves are the most comfortable I’ve had. They hold solid in my ear, moreso than the T10 units ever did. The shape helps out a lot with this, as they sit nicely in my ear and aren’t obtrusive. I’ve worn them for nearly a full day before wanting to take them off. The battery life is nearly 8 hours of constant use, as I often listen to music most of the day, or while working outside. Which brings me to the Active Noise Cancellation. The NC7 has to have in my opinion the best ANC of any set of headphones I’ve used, and that’s comparing them against Sony, JVC, and several others. Turning the ANC on or off is very easy, and controlled with the left earbud. Just swiping down on the left chooses between ANC on, Off, or ‘Transparent Mode’ which is basically like putting a shell to your ear and hearing everything external. With the ANC on, I’ve used lawnmowers, walked along a beach, biked used a vacuum cleaner, used electric blowers, walked past active fire engines. All of those things get reduced by almost 95% or more of what you would hear. It knocks out all the external decibels and literally blew me away with how quiet it made the outside world while delivering sound from what I’m playing. Phone conversations with the ANC on are AMAZING.ANC off still helps with external, but the Transparent mode really works so well to be able to keep the earbuds in while hearing conversations happening. I used the Transparent mode while biking and found it kept things safe while still being able to hear my music. As for the sound, the bass is way better than the T10 units. Thump and low range is definitely there, and the highs are much clearer. Range as well is impressive. I’ve had my phone two rooms away without having any drop in signal or quality.Cons are that the buttons on the left and right earbuds are a little soft/almost too easy to accidentally press, but once I figured out where to hold the units from, I made less mistakes pressing when I didn’t need to.Accessories are different earbuds (I’m using the default as those were the most comfortable) and a charging USB to USB-C wire. For the price, I would say these are a great value, and they beat out other pairs I’ve worn in the past which cost more, and delivered less. For myself, I usually don’t give glowing five star reviews, but honestly these are the best earbuds I’ve owned in a long time. Kudos to the Tozo team on a massive upgrade in design and function.

For $50, or $40 with the current coupon, totally worth it.Pros: – They sound good: plenty of bass, good mids, and good-to-very good highs. Across the spectrum the sound is good, easy to listen to. I think it’s a little closed off, but I think that’s pretty typical of lower-priced earbuds: doesn’t bother me. – Good microphone: not perfect sound quality, but easy to understand with some blocking of background noise. – Great battery life, the best I’ve ever gotten from TWS earbuds: – Battery dropped from 100% to 82% after 3hrs with ANC off at around 50% volume, suggesting 16-17 hours of battery life. – Battery dropped from 100% to 82% (not a typo, just happened to be the same amount) after 2hrs with ANC on (max) at around 50% volume, suggesting 11 hours of so of battery life. – Very small case, one of the smallest, very pocketable. – Comfortable, with a very good seal. The 6 includes eartips (3 kind of rounded, 3 more kind of flattish) do a good job for me, and I think for most peoples ears. – ANC is good: it does a pretty good job of blocking lower frequency sounds and a little into the mids. Not top-tier, but very good for the price. – Wind Noise Reduction actually works: these are the only earbuds I have ever tried with an active wind noise reduction mode (including the much more expensive Tozo Golden X1s) that actually works, regardless of the direction of the wind or how you move your head around. These are literally the only earbuds which beat my passive noise blocking Sony WF-C500s at keeping wind noise out when biking. – Ambient mode (whatever Tozo calls it) works ok, but really not something I use. – The earbuds themselves are small but not super small, easy enough to get in and out of your ears without sticking out too far. – Good touch controls: pretty flawless so far for me, registering touches is close to 100%. – Very nice, functional app: A dozen or so reset EQs, a 10-band equalizer you can use to tweak the sound the way you want, and you can customize the touch controls however you want. Cons: – No multi-point: this is a bummer for me, if they had multi-point these would be my go-to for everything. – For me, personally, they are not so easy to get out of the case (kind of fat fingers)That’s it: bang for the buck, these are the best I have every tried, and I’m kind of an earbud junky. If you’re on the fence, or you’re just looking for a cheap, good backup pair, these are a winner.

I have purchased 4 pairs of NC2 for different family members. Tozo gave me a promotional pair of NC7s to use and rate. I will be comparing these to the NC2 made by same company. At first glance, they look big compared to the NC2s when you open the case. The NC7 has no stem while the NC2 does. I did not notice any difference on call quality and sound was great on both. I think the NC2 offers better bass, especially in ANC mode. I am not an audiophile but this is one difference I even recognized.I also find that the NC7 was difficult to position initially. After I got the hang of it, I was able to get them in and out of my ear AND the case easier. It is near impossible to put these in without hitting the function buttons on the earbuds. Usually you have to “re-set” your ANC, Pause/play and volume once they are in. So even if you take them out for a few seconds to scratch your ear, you will find yourself resetting the levels almost every time. Due to the NC2s stem design, you have a place to hold onto that is not on top of the function buttons. I still have to adjust settings every once in a while with the NC2s but not near as much as these NC7s.I find that the NC7 seems to stay in your ear a little better than the NC2s. It is common for the NC2s to fall out of the ear. One of the downsides to that earbud. The NC7s fell out twice in my last three hour period of hard labor which is much better than the NC2s. I find my self adjusting the NC2s about every 10-15 minutes to prevent them from falling out.At the gym, both pair excelled equally. ANC blocked out noise and the bluetooth connection was able to reach every part of the gym while leaving my phone the locker area. Since both pairs use the same functions (with the exception of an added ANC function on the NC7) controls were easy to navigate. On either pair I personally have not lost the bluetooth connection walking up to 70 feet away from the phone. Both cases charge the phone in seemingly good time although the NC7 case is a little shorter due to the fact that there are no stems. Cleaning the case contacts on the NC2 are more difficult since you have to get all the way into the deeper narrow section where the stem sits. As a side note, I had one case that stopped charging the NC2 earbuds. Tozo was quick to respond and sent out another pair of earbuds (not just the case). I think comfort is great on both pair but the NC7 eeks out a win here by a very slim margin. They just feel “lighter” in the ear. I have no idea what the actual weights are of each pair but the feel seems lighter and may be the result of not having the stem. Neither pair are heavy by any means. These are a solid set of earbuds, especially for those who wish to have a stemless design. The call quality is good and the comfort is decent. They tend to stay in your ears well. They are a bit difficult at first to get in and used to but that eases quickly. however, the fact that you turn on and off your playlist a few times or turn on and off the ANC a few times just to get these things in your ears. Not a deal breaker but kinda annoying nonetheless. Bluetooth works flawlessly and the case can hold a charge for repeated charges of the earbuds. The USB-C connection charges the case rather quickly.IF I had to choose, I would still go with the NC2 by a hair. Although I am no sound expert, I like the bass a bit better, especially when ANC is on. but the difference is small. Even though I have to adjust them regularly, the stem makes this easy. Both sets perform well on calls and bluetooth distance using an iPhone 12 Pro MAX. Any other differences/experiences between the two sets would be nit picking coming from me. Maybe an audiophile would have more to add.I have tried quite a few bluetooth earbuds over the last 5 years ranging from $25-$125 and have taken the input of my teenage kids who also use them (and lose them). Tozo has been our go to brand for the last 18 months and we have purchased products from them several times. They offer great customer service and an exceptional value for ANC earbuds In a heartbeat I would buy these NC7s especially if you are looking for a stemless design. I will continue to use both sets on a regular basis.

JUST DO IT! Don’t think about it, if you know and love earbuds, just buy the Tozo NC7 buds! For only 40-50 bucks you can’t go wrong. I had a 20% off coupon offered at the time I purchased my Tozo’s, so I only paid $40 for each of the two pair I bought, but I think retail is regularly $50. NC7 buds tout 18 hour run time, and I believe it! These stay charged forever, it seems. The charging case lasts for 2 charges from what I’ve experienced. Touch controls work very nicely. left earbud controls noise cancelling features, which work extremely well. Right earbud controls playing and pausing songs, also jumping to next or previous song. A very interesting thing about these is that they can play down to a VERY low volume level. That’s a great feature in my book. Fitment seems is very good for me, but for what it’s worth my ears are on the bigger side of the ear size scale. They also come with 12 tips in 2 different shapes and 3 sizes. I have yet to answer a call with these, but I’m sure they will work great for taking calls, as well as everything else works on them. Honestly though, I believe everyone that tries these buds will, at least, be highly satisfied, if not completely blown away just like I was. Ok now lets jump to sound quality…Side note: Don’t expect to get great sound from any headphones listening to music on YouTube. You need to use a dedicated music app with an equalizer for best results.BASS: The bass isn’t muddy or overpowering in the least, it’s full and poignant. Clean and to the point. You won’t want for more bass than these provide (Dre eat your heart out). I’ve always wished my earbuds could deliver more bass that most of them do, the Genies at Tozo granted that wish! I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this set. (well I guess I’m trying to tell you, that’s why I’m writing this review anyway, lol).HIGHS AND MIDS: A person can tell a great speaker by the details they can pick out during listening. These buds must have some nice quality hardware in them, because details are what you’ll notice! The highs and mids produced by the NC7s are clean and clear. No frequency seems to overpower another. It’s quite literally like a symphony happening inside the little plastic cases. Everything plays very well with each other as if they’re being directed by a great conductor. You’ll catch nice details from the treble side of things, but wont find yourself wanting for clearer more pronounced vocals due to an overpowering amount of treble. Although if you wanted to, you could definitely crank up the treble/volume and damage your hearing with these, if you’re into that sort of thing….CONS: Very few.-I wish you could connect these via an app for more control over the touch options, but this model doesn’t offer app connectivity at this point in time anyway.-Two different notification accents, lol. One is clearly British (“Powuh ohnn”), and the other is Chinese or Japanese (“NC mode”) it makes me chuckle every time I hear it though so I don’t know if it’s really a con.TECHNICAL STUFF IF YOU WANT TO KEEP READING:Keep in mind that not every media device offers the same sound stage/quality, so choose wisely what you pair these with. I use the equalizer in my Samsung phone music app to make adjustments while playing my Tozos and it’s necessary really, because although these buds can produce beautiful sounds, you have to feed them a beautiful signal to get one back from them.Just like every other reviewer of headphones, I’m a person that owns many pair of headphones/earbuds from cheap to overpriced. I only tell you that information so you know that I’m not a person that has two sets of headphones and am writing a review to tell you how great these sound compared to my JVC Marshmallows, lol. Most folks that care, and know, about audio quality understand that brand new speakers never sound as good as they do after having had a chance to stretch their legs a bit. When you get your NC7s you may not be instantly impressed (you will be pleased though!!), but after roughly 40 hours of listening you’ll notice REALLY nice well rounded sounds dancing on your happy little eardrums. It took a few days of run time for my pair to fully express their true potential. But now, just wow…If a manufacturer balances the left and right buds to produce the same amount of sound at the same volume level, you end up with a soundstage that will have you hearing guitars playing on either side of you, drums beating behind your head, and vocals that appear to sound like they’re being sung almost in front of your face. That is what a great soundstage is from a well balanced set of headphones can provide and it’s really RARE!! The NC7s appear have a nice soundstage. You’ll see what i mean when you get yours. There is so much more I could write about these, but who actually read this far into the review in the first place, lol?? IF so, what are you still reading this for???? ORDER YOUR OWN PAIR AND EXPERIENCE IF FOR YOURSELF!!! 🙂 I hope you enjoyed me review. Have a very nice day.

The media could not be loaded. I love them for the price they surprisely well working features!I am going to make this short and cover all the features in the earbuds.ANC?: The ANC at this price was a kinda of a surprise compared to Airpods,Sony and more expensiver earbuds. The work pretty well For Example:Lets say you are in your housr and the TV is on when the ANC is on you barely be able to hear the TV expect I was able to hear the high pitch sound from the TV slightly but for the price amazing!Anc Quality (4.5/5)Sound?: The sound is amazing actually way over my expectations on what I thought it would sound like.Sound Quality (5/5)Comfort?:The Earbuds were well fit in my ear.But they didn’t feel the most secure.Sometimes they would hang on my ears.comfort (4/5)Battery: The battery definitely amazing it very good just like promised by the company very well.Lasted me more than 3 days because I don’t use constantly but often.Wireless charger?:I love the colored led indicator in the side to show if something is charger works for my Samsung S23 Ultra and other earbuds too very well quality the border looks like made from metal.Wireless charger.(5/5)OVERALL SHOULD YOU BUY THIS: If you want almost great ANC and sound with the most updated features like wireless charging for a low budget This is the best deal for that. But if want like a high end premium earbuds I wouldn’t really recommendThey are great earbuds for the Price with the most up to date features for who don’t want to spend so much on something that fit in our palms.

I needed to replace a very old, cheap set of earbuds that were always great for my usage, but had come to end of life (battery endurance, one bud speaker dead, case display dead, etc)ALSO, I had the Sony M3 and one of the buds got destroyed. My listening type is mostly Youtube and other types of ‘podcasts,’ using only one ear-bud. Each charges while the other is in use for continuous availability. The old cheap ones were great for my listening modes, but often lost pairing over time, especially if wanting to use in stereo, which was rare for me.The Sony M3, in terms of my usage, frankly sucked. Pairing required both buds. Their assumption is that you’ll always have both in your ear, so functions that can only be configured for one ear are missing when that bud is in the charging case. When I lost one of the buds, pairing to a new device was impossible. Until I lost one, they were adequate for my uses, had good ambient noise blocking, even without using active noise suppression, which drained the battery so quickly that I turned it off. So battery life of the bud and the case was minimally acceptable even with features turned off. I don’t even think that tap to pause worked on both ear buds. I actually liked most things about my old cheap buds BETTER than the 3x more expensive Sony M3 (with black Friday discount, otherwise more like 4x $$)The N7 has impressive battery life in both the bud and case, great non-active ambient noise separation large selection of sizes and types of ear-piece to use to fit your ear, and love the wireless-charging. I’m not sure if pairing would work if I lost either one or the other bud, but otherwise, these are perfect for my mode of use and sound-quality requirements. Great sound as far as I’m concerned, having used Sony M3s and a Sennheiser over ear monitoring headphones on my PC for music and games, but my usages has been podcasts so far.Rating is 4.5 rounded up to 5 stars. M3 would probably have gotten rounded down to 4 stars. My old cheap headphones probably would have gotten a 4, but maybe rate a bit higher than the M3 for my personal usage modes and needs.

I purchased these earbuds for $50 a few months ago, after searching diligently for some budget-friendly headphones. I wanted a pair of headphones that have the design and stylish convenience of earbuds, while also reaching for the sound quality and active noise cancellation that comes with over-ear headphones. The TOZO NC7 earbuds checked all the boxes and then some.*Some of the features that have impressed me the most include:1) The noise cancellation – You simply wont find better quality elsewhere for $50. Not only is the quality comparable to flagship earbuds that would typically cost $150-$300, but the noise cancellation is customizable per the users preference/environment (via optional TOZO app). I often wear my earbuds just to use the nc so I can have peace and quiet while out grocery shopping.2) The extended battery life. I use these earbuds to talk on the phone a lot and so far, I’ve only had to charge them twice.3) The optional TOZO app that allows for further setting preferences and features.4) The included bundle of assorted size tips to ensure my earbuds were a perfect fit.5) Overall sound quality. High-grade; and upon first impression, I was immediately impressed with the bass being pushed out of these tiny baby buds.I liked these earbuds so much that I bought my mum a pair. She enjoys the nc while walking along the beach.

The NC7 is by far a better value than the most popularly recommended, Sony WF-1000XM5. Not only does it do a better job in ANC mode, but the volume controls on the WF-1000XM5 are nearly impossible to use. Come on 4 clicks to adjust volume up or down? On the NC7 you just need to press the pads and the volume will adjust easily. Besides the best price you will find on the WF-1000XM5 is 6 time higher than the NC7.I also want to say that the assistace from Sophia at TOZO was the best I have ever encountered!I did not rate the noise cancelation as 5 star only because it cannot reach the level of the over the ear headphones like the TOZO HT2 which are the best at noise cancelling I have ever used! I have owned many over the ear headphones, even Bose, and they were nowhere as good in ANC mode as the TOZO HT2. It would have received 5 stars. in all categories! I would have rated them on this site but I purchased them directly from TOZO since Amazon didnot have them at the time I puchased them.

I thought the NC9s, which I have, were the newer and/or better than the NC7s but I read a review that said the number referred to the mm diameter of the driver and not the “model number” as I initially thought. In fact, I think the NC7s are newer than the NC9s.The sound is wide and the base thumps separately from the other music making the bass full and clear. It actually thumps and rumbles in all the right places and does not muddy up the rest of the music. The ANC and call quality is unbelievable for buds at this price. I’ve never seen them at list price, usually listed at $50 but they’ll go on sale for $40 at which they are AN UNBELIEVABLE BARGAIN.

I bought my NC7 in July 2023, and the left earpiece started malfunctioning early this year (the commands still work, but the sound is intermittent). TOZO offered to send me a replacement or reimburse 85% of the original price — which, after half a year of use, was generous. I told them both options suited me equally. TOZO reimbursed me and told me I didn’t have to send back the defective item. Now I must decide between buying the NC7 again and waiting to see if TOZO comes up with a new model. The NC7 did a good job at reducing the rumble of the street and the bus I travelled in. Audio reproduction wasn’t audiophile-level, of course, but still clear and full-bodied, so no complaint. The microphone worked when I tested it in the apartment; I never had the occasion to test it outside, where it’s noisy.Oh, and I like the touch commands. You can both change the volume and go backward and forward, which is especially useful for me since my mind tends to drift off when I listen to a podcast, based on what was said in the podcast.Last July, I also bought TOZO’s S2 smartwatch and W6 charger. Both still work just fine.
