Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Release Date & Trailer

[ad_1]

Last Updated:

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure title set in the same universe as the Bartman Arkham series. You play as the titular squad of four characters and have to take out the Justice League to save the world because that is apparently this team’s shtick.

The game seems to be the DC Universe answer to the recent Guardians of the Galaxy title, but can it do enough to stand out against its hyper-colorful counterpart? Only time will tell. In the meantime, you can rely on us to have the most up-to-date release information on the game for you just down below.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Release Date

Back at The Game Awards 2021 was when we got our first proper glimpse of this title with a very flash trailer showing off the main four characters. A brief teaser has been revealed back in August of 2020, but this was the first time we got any concrete information on the game.

One of the most important pieces of info that we got was a release window for the game at the end of that TGA2021 trailer. According to the said trailer, the game will be dropping at some point during 2022, though we can’t be any more specific than that right now.

So far, this game is shaping up to be a supervillain city sandbox, with four different characters available to play. In solo play, you’ll be able to freely swap between the characters who each have their own combat style and special abilities. On top of that, there will also be a co-op multiplayer that allows you and your friends to each control a single one of the squad for yourself.

It seems like Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is taking a bit of a hint from the recent movies since the members of the team are a mixture of those found in the first and second movies. Harley Quinn is a fan favorite so she’s an obvious pick, but we also have Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, the last of whom was the only new addition for the second film, but it’s still an important nod.

Either way, check out the gameplay in the trailer below.
