I have been using a smartwatch for a few years and tried this Tozo watch. For price, performance and build quality it is superb. Seamless with a cellphone and doing micro-workouts during the day. Here are some of the good points of this watch:Price and ValueThe Tozo S4 smartwatch is very inexpensive compared to other comparable smartwatches in the market. About 1/10 of the cost of some Samsung or Apple smartwatches. It offers a great value for the money, as it has many functions and features that are comparable or even better than some of the more expensive watches.Design and DisplaySleek and elegant design that looks good yet feels sturdy. The screen has a high resolution of 240×240 pixels and a brightness of 450 nits, whatever that means. I just know its clear and visible in any light condition. Great selection of watch faces to choose from.Battery and ChargingLong battery life. I get nearly 7 days on a single charge with decent usage. , depending on how you use it. It also has a fast magnetic charging system that can fully charge the watch in about 2 hours. Always visible low battery reminder and a power saving mode that can extend the battery life even more.Health and FitnessWhere this things really shines is in this area. With all the sport selections and the convenience of immediate starting it is great for micro-workouts during the day. Nor heart rate monitoring strap fiddling. This convenience is worth the watch. It gives you read out of the details of the micro-workout and saves it so you can see how you did for the whole day. I tested the heart rate and blood oxygen levels against my two oximeters and they were perfect. No heart rate device that does not use a strap is going to be precise when moving. The Tozo S4 smartwatch is a great companion for your health and fitness goals. I do not use some of the health functions so cannot comment ( sleep tracker, pedometer, etc.). I like the way the watch can sync with your phone and the Tozo app to see data and trends in detail.Connectivity and NotificationsBluetooth connections and notifications were spot on. While the watch can also control your phone’s music player and camera, and as show notifications from various apps that you can select from the app. I also like that it Google Assistant.Other FeaturesIt has the extra clock functions: a timer, an alarm, a stopwatch, and a world clock for five time zones. Nice. The phone locator is more convenient to make it easy find the connected phone.ConclusionTerrific smartwatch for the bargain whether for using with a cellphone and doing micro-workouts during the day or full workouts Full of features and a solid build.

I am training for a competition in a couple of months and wanted to take the plunge and use a smart watch to start tracking my fitness progress.I was surprised at how much more it can do, how well it looks, how conformable it is to wear, and the real time info it provides!I was originally planning to only use it for working out, but how seamlessly it connects with my iPhone and allows me to make answer, calls, see notifications, and track information has made it a part of my daily wear. The build quality is solid and sleek, battery is excellent and lasts multiple days, and the weather proofing has me running outside worry free, and the syncing with the app is seamless, it can even share the fitness data with the Apple native App.Cannot recommend it more, not sure why people would pay hundreds of dollars more for other brands.

This is my first smartwatch. I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 & didn’t want to spend the money on a Samsung watch. I have had great success with all of the Tozo products & their customer service, so I decided to try their watch.I’ve only used it about a week, but I am very happy with it so far. It was easy to attach the wristband, download the app, & activate the warranty. The screen is clear, large enough to read & use easily, and the colors are vibrant. The app works great and is easy to use. The navigation on the watch is pretty intuitive as well. I love the variety of features and have loved experimenting with them. Though I haven’t tried all of them yet.I can’t decide which is my favorite, but it’s a tie between having phone features really accessible without carrying out having to get my phone out and the stress level & relax features. Excellent for managing stress. The only things that would make it better for me would be a smaller wristband. I have very small wrists and have to keep it at the tightest notch. And if they had instructions on how to charge it. I felt a little dumb because I couldn’t figure out how to charge initially charge it.I’m very happy that I went with this watch. The price point is excellent and it has more than enough features, great screen, easy to operate, and has a great battery life.

Great smartwatch! Love the Tozo products. We have several of their headphones and the smartwatch has not disappointed. It’s a great price and value. I compared functions of other smart watches and the functions on this are very comparable while saving a ton of money. The screen is very responsive to touch and movement. The colors are vibrant. The health functions are working. It tracks steps, oxygen levels, heart rate, and monitors sleep patterns. I like how it has a wide variety of great looking watch faces. You can even add your own picture to be one of the watch faces. Battery life is good and you can change the settings to save battery or use more (ie – brightness levels, etc). It just depends on how you use the watch. The app on the phone is great and connects easily to the watch (see screenshot). The call functions work great. I have received calls through the watch and I am able to talk and hear through the watch. The speaker is decent. I have also spoken into the watch for some google assistant things. Sometimes that is inconsistent. It allows media controls (pause, skip, etc) which is helpful if running or exercising with the watch. The clock functions have a timer and stopwatch. I also like choosing from the app, which app notifications on my phone to display on the app. As far as I can tell for text messages, you can only view the texts and not reply from the phone. But I’m fine with that as I don’t want to try to type on the phone anyway. It’s just nice to see what notifications are pinging me without having to pull out the phone.A few things Tozo could improve….It would be helpful if the time and stop watch could run in the background. You have to stay on those screens for them to run. The world clock allows you to add up to 5 cities. Again, an improvement for Tozo would be to add more cities in the search for world times. While the multitude of watch faces is nice, I haven’t figured out how to change out the 4 preset faces that are stored on the watch that you can rotate through. It only lets me add and change the 5th preset. It would be nice if I could choose all 5.Other than those few things, I am very happy. I have been testing this for a week now pretty heavily. I am very happy.

This is my first smart watch and I got it shortly before a trip. I had thought about getting one previously but being someone who hasn’t wear a watch in years, I had been putting it off. Finally decided to take the plunge. I wasn’t sure what to expect but am pleasantly surprised by it. Very easy to use out of the box. I downloaded the TOZO Health app and paired it with my phone. It can track some health information, such as heartbeat, steps, stress level, sleep habits. It was nice to be able to track these on my trip as I walked a lot. Also, the watch does change time zone when you travel but it takes a little time to do so. The weather, however, is to the location you set on the watch and it does not change based on your physical location. You need to turn on notifications from the app to receive and take calls from your phone. I tried the call function a couple of times and it works well; I was able to hear the caller and they can hear me.To get text messages and other notifications, you also need to go to notifications on the app, under app messages, and you can select what app to turn on notifications for. It has a bunch of selection like Facebook, Instagram, etc. but it doesn’t list Messages app for iPhone. However, turn on “Others” and you will be able to get Messages app notifications as well as others that are not listed. I like being able to see the text messages on the watch, but you can’t respond from the watch, so that is one improvement that can be made to the next version. You can also set notifications or reminders to get up and walk around at hour intervals, drink water, wash your hands, or take your medicine. Or set additional alarms or reminders. The app contains a lot of options for the watch display; it has 4 preset displays which can’t be changed and 1 you can change. It would be nice if you can change all four displays to your own selection, or choose what information you want displayed, so another area for improvement. The watch does not have the ability to go online and surf the web for information. Also, it was a little confusing at first as some functions can be set on the watch itself while others need to be set on the app, or some can be done on either the watch or app, so it takes a little bit to get used to as to where to find certain things. The band is wide and comfortable. I did sleep with it on the first night just to see how it works; the watch is a little big and I can feel it as I put my arm on my head occasionally when sleeping, but I am someone who hasn’t wore any watches for years so it would take some getting used to. The watch provided me information about how long I was in different stages of sleep (REM, deep, light). The watch also has exercise functions (can set goals and track to see if you meet them), but I haven’t used this function except to track steps.Battery life is great as I can go for 4-5 days without charging; I usually charge it when it goes below 50% battery life so I can probably go for a few more days. Family members who are Apple watch users told me they have to charge theirs daily. Not having to charge daily is a big plus for me.Overall, I am VERY impressed with my first smart watch and would recommend it given its price point and functionality.

Had this watch for about two weeks now. It’s a cool little watch and has some great features!Of course, it tells the time and it’s easy to read. Love how the screen is off basically always until I flip my wrist up to see it!Also, it gives you a very accurate heart rate sensor. This is the biggest feature I was looking for in a watch. When I do cardio I have no idea what my heart rate is! Well, until now! I’ve tested it against manually checking my pulse for thirty second tests at resting, at medium activity, at high activity, and post high activity/recovery phase. It’s been accurate within 3bpm every time! Excellent work little watch! The second major feature I bought it for- sleep data! I’ve heard watches can actually provide remarkably accurate data about how we sleep! This is the first time I’ve had a watch and been able to see any data/feedback about my sleep!Since I have nothing to compare it too, it’s hard to say how accurate it is- BUT at the very least, it did correctly reflect a period of time in the middle of the night when I was awoken the other day!I’m psyched to be able to see these additional data points from my life and gain a better understanding of what’s happening in me!There’s also an app that goes with the watch. I don’t really use it other than syncing my sleep data there so I can see my sleep data over a longer period of time!I’d also add, that this watch is quite comfy and it looks nice as well! The screen is super clear and produces a nice image! There’s a couple other features I don’t normally take advantage of yet, but it’s nice that they’re there! You can also easily access an alarm app, a phone call app (and see contacts and call history), and the weather app! I spend a lot of time outside, so I reference the weather app all the time! All in all, this is a great watch!

I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem in the world of smartwatches, and I couldn’t wait to share my excitement! The Tozo S4 is an absolute game-changer, combining a budget-friendly price tag with a plethora of modern features that left me in awe.First and foremost, let’s talk about the incredible value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable price of this smartwatch, especially considering the extensive list of features it boasts. It’s proof that cutting-edge technology doesn’t have to break the bank. The design of the smartwatch is sleek and stylish, making it suitable for any occasion. The vibrant and responsive touchscreen provides a seamless user experience, and the customizable watch faces add a personal touch. I’ve received numerous compliments on its appearance, and people are always shocked when they find out how reasonably priced it is.But what truly sets this smartwatch apart is its impressive array of features. From heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking to GPS navigation and call notifications, it covers all the essentials and more. The built-in fitness tracker has motivated me to stay active and maintain a healthier lifestyle. I also love the convenience of receiving notifications directly on my wrist, allowing me to stay connected without constantly checking my phone.Battery life is another standout feature. I was amazed at how long the smartwatch lasts on a single charge, making it a reliable companion for daily use over an entire week without recharge! Whether I’m tracking my workouts, receiving notifications, or simply using it as a stylish timepiece, the battery life never fails to impress.Setting up the smartwatch was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly interface and clear instructions. It seamlessly syncs with my smartphone, and the dedicated app provides detailed insights into my health and fitness data. The Bluetooth connectivity is stable, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience. In conclusion, the Tozo S4 has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the perfect blend of affordability, style, and functionality. If you’re in the market for a budget-friendly smartwatch with a wealth of modern features, look no further. This incredible device has truly redefined what’s possible in the world of affordable wearable technology. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking unbeatable value without compromising on quality!

I’m a spreadsheet guy, to a fault, and my wife regularly talks dirty to me by asking me to compare products for her. When my most recent smartwatch finally crapped out on me after 2.5 years (Mobvoi TicWatch 3 GPS), I waited to see what was going to pop up on my radar so that I could get started on my next spreadsheet journey. I am firmly entrenched in the Google ecosystem so it was going to be either the TicWatch 5 or the Pixel Watch 2… but neither of them were really what I wanted. The TW5 is bulky and expensive and the PW2 is too small… and, also, expensive. I knew there had to be a budget smartwatch on Amazon that could get the job done until the next TW and/or PW came out so I started looking. I stumbled on this one, the S4, because I recognized Tozo as a maker of premium quality yet budget-friendly earbuds. So, I took the leap and here’s my review after 10 days.Battery life:When you unbox your watch, there’s a sticker on the face that advises you to fully charge the watch prior to turning it on and using it. I connected the charger and the watch was already at 94%, so I turned it on and let it rip. That was last Tuesday afternoon (January 9, 2024); my watch died sometime in the middle of the night this past Tuesday morning (January 16, 2024) between 2300 and 0630. When I went to bed it was still at 9%. My TW, initially, held strong at about 48 hours before it needed to charge and, eventually, it trickled down to about 7 hours right before it died. This thing does exactly what I expect it to, which is to simply notify me of calls, texts and emails, just like my TW did, and it lasted 7 days strong on one charge. Also, from totally dead to 100% battery only took about 75 minutes. I am very happy about this. *5/5UPDATE 01/28/24: I have had this watch for almost three weeks and I just charged it for the THIRD TIME today. Changing my battery life grade by giving it +1, so it is now *6 / 5.Accessories:The charging cable that the watch comes with is proprietary (bummer) and measures about 24.5 inches (WTF?). It is remarkably short. For comparison, the Mobvoi charger that my TW came with measures just shy of 36 inches. Additionally, the magnets that keep the charger attached to the watch are laughably weak. I could pick my TW up by the charging cable when it was attached and I couldn’t even MOVE the S4 itself while the charger was connected because the magnets aren’t strong enough to keep it in the right spot. *1/5, a one (1) only because they include the cable in the box, otherwise it would be zero (0). Continue reading to learn about the watch band…Comfort:The S4 comes with a high-quality silicone band with “Tozo” stamped on it. It’s very similar to what you might see on an Apple Watch, down to the band overlap going under the band to get out of the way. The watch itself, however, isn’t the most comfortable on the wrist and sits kind of weird, most likely due to how large it is. It is noticeably lighter than the TW3 though (for those of you who have one, or who were wondering), coming in at 1.4 oz compared to 2.3 oz (almost 40% lighter). *3.5/5Screen:The 1.78” AMOLED on this thing is bright – like BRIGHT bright. Luckily, it has 5 brightness settings that you can easily select from, either directly on the watch or in the accompanying app. You can also change the screen time-out intervals in increments of 5 seconds, from 5 seconds up to 30 seconds. The colors aren’t oversaturated and they’re quite crisp. You can also turn on Do-Not-Disturb and/or Silent Mode at night to keep it from making noise when it’s quiet. There really isn’t anything to complain about here. *5/5Watch faces:The advert describes 100+ watch faces and as of right now (01/19/2024), there are a total of 246 – 3 of which are “custom,” meaning you can use a photo of your choosing as the background. The other 243 fall into categories titled, “Simple,” “Personality,” “Colorful,” “Pointer,” “Business Style,” and “Festival.” The sheer number is a bit overwhelming, but then again, so are most of the watch faces. It’s a WYSIWYG shop here: there are no customizable complications and the vast majority of the faces are either distractingly colorful or needlessly busy. The one that I’m currently using, called “Intelligence – Future,” has a comparatively subdued black and blue color scheme but there are some confusing inclusions and omissions. For example: there’s a battery icon at the top right of the screen but there’s also a battery percent reading in the face. Additionally, there are three placeholders for complications; two of them are in use (the previously mentioned battery percentage and heart rate) but the one in between them is empty. Again, there’s no way to select a complication to place there… it’s just a black circle. One of the most frustrating aspects of this watch so far (which is relative, of course) is that there is no option to make your own face or modify the ones that are in the Dial Center. I’ve searched far and wide to see if any savvy devs out there have figured out how to jack into this OS, or even knows what type of OS this thing runs, but so far it seems like no one has had any luck. Hey Tozo – give us a watch builder or at least the option to add/modify complications! *3/5Processor and OS:Tozo advertises the S4 as having a “high-precision wear chip,” but there doesn’t seem to be any indication of what type of chip is actually running the watch. The same goes with the OS – my assumption is that it’s some kind of RToS, similar to what the One Plus Watch runs/ran, which explains how/why it’s so responsive. Honestly though, it doesn’t really matter because it’s snappy and rarely stutters in day-to-day use. *5/5Intelligent Message Notification:Coming from a WearOS device, I guess I was accustomed to a more robust notification system. Not that the S4 is lacking, because it will definitely let you know when you’ve received a message or email or phone call, but not being able to respond directly from the watch is kind of a bummer. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to be able to use an on-screen keyboard or voice-to-text to quickly reply to texts and instant messages. In the Tozo Health app, you can create a few canned responses if you decline a call but they can’t be used to respond to any other type of communication. Additionally, you need to be sure to go into the Notification and Reminders section of the app, select “App messages,” then manually select which apps you give permission to notify you otherwise you’ll likely miss them until the next time you look at your phone. Another aspect that took some getting used to is the notification icons that the watch uses. It recognizes FB Messenger and shows the blue bolt-looking thing; it also recognizes Outlook and shows the blue email icon, but it uses a generic one for text messages that looks like a 4-leaf clover. This is just me being picky, I suppose. The main factor to remember here is that this thing concurrently notifies you when notifications come in. My watch vibrates, literally, at the same time as my phone. Also, the vibration motor in this thing is SUPER strong so you will definitely know when it’s going off. I couldn’t say that about my TW. *4/5Bluetooth Calling:I’ve only used this feature once so far, and it didn’t sound great (the caller’s voice was tinny and distant), but I was outside and the ambient noise level was pretty high. Obviously, this isn’t going to replace a BT or wired headset, or the speakerphone on your device – but to answer a call in a pinch until you can get to your phone, it is totally passable. You can add up to 10 frequent contacts in the app which will sync to your watch so that you can initiate a call if your phone is close by but out of reach. That’s a pretty cool feature that I don’t recall my TW having. *4/5Fitness Features:Gonna be totally honest – I didn’t buy this watch for the fitness features so I haven’t tested them, nor do I suspect that they would be accurate anyways. Standard on the watch, when swiping right to left, are the HR monitor, Sleep monitor, Stress monitor, Weather screen, and Activity monitor. Based on the comfort of the watch, I’m not interested in wearing it to bed to test the sleep monitor nor would I trust it to keep track of my HR. *X/XSoftware quirks: Some of the stranger software quirks that I’ve noticed so far are…*The rotating crown employs a satisfying mechanical haptic “bump” when you rotate it, and it does a serviceable job of assisting with menu and screen navigation but when the display is on, rotating the crown will cycle through the five watch faces that live on the device. So, if you’re wearing a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, or have short hands and put them in your pockets, you may inadvertently swap your watch face. I’ve done it a few times and it’s becoming quite annoying.*The screen has to stay on, and on the timer module, for the timer function to continue counting down. I recently set a timer for 5 minutes then clicked on the crown to return to the home screen and went about my business. It took me quite some time to realize that the timer should have gone off long before then and when I went back into my watch, the timer had reset / the function ended.Overall: For the price, and the features, I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. The S4 does exactly what I need it to, which is to help me keep my eyes off of my phone – and tell me the time every once in a while. It’s taken a little getting used to the shape (i.e., rectangular [APPLE – BARF!!!] vs circular [Google – HOORAY!!]) but, to be honest, it works much better for reading notifications and not having to worry about square notifications getting cut off by round bezels. The battery life is INSANE, the screen looks great, and it stays connected to my phone consistently. Anyone looking for a high-quality, budget smartwatch, should definitely consider this one.

Okay so this is gonna be a long fun review. First off I would like to say that this is my first ever smart watch and I just wanted to try it and I didn’t have high expectations. However this smart watch exceeded my expectations. First off I would like to say that I thought that the heart rate monitor and all the other health aspects of it were not accurate however they are they are very accurate I have you know measured my own heart rate and it is usually within one or two beats per minute I would say it’s highly accurate when I wear the watch to sleep which is kind of weird to do but I’ve done it a few times it legitimately does tell me how long that I’ve slept and it shows me my deep sleep my REM sleep and my light sleep and I judge that to be accurate too based on my own sleeping experience I don’t really know what the stress feature really means it’s never really been high or low it’s just kind of in the middle but I guess that’s OK as far as a user interface in the app they’re just great once you get used to it it really shines it’s actually a fun watch to use I like having more information on the main dial like some of the dials will show you you know and most of the main dials will have a phone button you know where you can press it and call people that’s pretty cool i’ve never actually used the watch i’ve used it once to call people but that was just to test it I don’t really not interested in taking a phone call through the watch but if I had to I know that it works the audio quality is great I think it works fine the battery life is advertised it’s about you know 10 to 12 days I think I use 10% battery life per day if I use it the whole time if I let it sit on my desk you know it lasts longer I don’t know what else the only real thing that I don’t like so much about the watch even though they say the band is really nice but and it needs to be tight against your skin Etcetera is the band it just I think the watch needs to be able to move around a little bit to so it doesn’t suffocate your skin because your skin needs to breathe and this watch kind of suffocates your skin to the point where it leaves an impression and you need to let it move around in this watch doesn’t it doesn’t move around on your skin very easily it just kind of stays in that spot and like creates A like a sink on your skin and it you know it feels like annoying after a while like you wanna take it off like a band aid. But other than that I think this watch is great it took me about two weeks to really actually get used to it and enjoy it for what it is it’s a watch that shows you your messages and notifications which is cool and I really like how it vibrates when I get like a text or an email and then when I hold the watch up to my face it shows me the notification I don’t have to press anything it just shows it to me I think it’s awesome!Another thing I’d like to say is that the app does allow for quick reply messages so you could quick reply a text message but my pixel8 Is not supported it’s under the other phones category I think only the Chinese made phones like Hawaii and Xiaomi are supported and the other gripe that I have is that a lot of the face styles are very dated looking it feels like early 2000s photoshop looking kind of weird however there are quite a few that do look pretty nice and I do like them and once you find one that you like you know that shows you what you want to see when you look at your wrist it kind of works and it’s great.

I’ve been using this watch for over a month now, and I can confidently state that the set of features it offers is absolutely amazing. It offers a plethora of useful functions, including heart rate tracking, sleep cycle tracking, step count, calories burnt, oxygen blood level measurements, and many exercise related routines and features that can be pre-programmed / configured using TOZO iPhone app (that has many features I didn’t even try to use yet). Best of all, it can be setup to share the data it collects with the Health app on iPhone, easily integrated into its ecosystem accumulating fitness data from multiple sources. The heart rate / blood oxygen level monitoring can be passive (taken in certain time increments), or it can be set to real-time, thus enabling detailed tracking during exercise activities, which is extremely useful for specific fitness activity routines where accurate real-time heart rate monitoring is a must. It does use more battery power when real-time monitoring is activated, but this is expected and understandable.Battery lasts for days in a typical user scenario, at least for 4-5 days on a single charge dropping from 100% to 30-40% levels (when I usually recharge it) and it will automatically enter low power mode if the battery charge drops below 20%. The watch screen is super bright, and can be set to five different brightness levels – I use if at level 2 and it’s bright enough even in daylight! There are many options to control the watch functionality during different times of day – e.g. ability to setup various “do not disturb” modes based on specific time periods or activity levels. In addition to all these functions, it has a great level of integration with other iPhone apps via Bluetooth and TOZO iPhone app (I don’t know if it does the same for Android phones, but I suspect it does). The watch can be used to track and respond to phone calls using its built-in speaker and mic, and, if you so choose, it can show you notifications from many applications running on the iPhone as well, including your Calendar, Mail, social media apps like Facebook/LinkedIn and others, various messenger platforms (Skype, Whatsapp, Messenger, Viber, Line, Telegram…) and many others. This functions are enabled by the app itself, which, I guess, makes it easy for TOZO to update and improve without any upgrades to the watch itself – this makes the low-priced TOZO S4 watch an extraordinary value considering the functionality it offers.I really happy with this watch – using it in the past month and a half was exciting, and the fact that they continually update their selection of available watch faces is an added fun bonus, especially when using theme based holiday faces, etc. In addition to its main functionality, it offers significant utility value (e.g. when using its built-in timer / alarm / stopwatch functions, can be used as a flashlight in the dark, etc.). The watch It is slick, fun gadget to have, offering the best value for your money for a budget fitness smartwatch at the very low price the TOZO S4 watch is offered.
