SUPCASE [Unicorn Beetle Pro Case for Apple Watch 3 [42mm], Rugged Protective Case with Strap Bands for Apple Watch Series 3/2/1

As background: I stopped using Apple’s official watch bands when they discontinued the simple 2 strap design with a normal pronged clasp. I didn’t want the sports band, the velcro, the metal, etc – I have a metal one for dress attire but it’s subject to scratching and doesn’t protect the face. This has the massive advantage of a raised rim around the face to protect it. I have a sapphire face but still have had zero injuries to my watch in the years I’ve had this brand of watch case/strap.I’ve purchased the supcase for my series 2 apple watch in black, and over the years it eventually started to show some wear: using it in a pool over 30 times, and the ocean, eventually caused the black to show a little bit of discoloration. So I bought a few more, and this was one of the versions I bought.The stiffness of the clear version is distinctly different from the solid colors, at least black and green – it it a bit less pliable than the solid colors. It’s still quite comfortable, and easy to put on and off. It’s similarly easy to pop the watch in and out of, like the others, though it’s something I probably wouldn’t do ever day, as it looks like it might wear on the strap/case a bit due to the pressures involved. That said, I’ve done it numerous times and haven’t seen any direct evidence of wear to the watch or strap, it just seems like material like this would eventually start to show wear.The only downside is pinching your arm a bit when sliding the strap loop holder in, but that’s minor and never breaks the skin.The transparent look is pretty cool, it’s a smoky type of look with a nice reflective shine to it, so it’s almost like a subtle bling look. The clasp being chrome helps a little too.I think black is still my favorite color for overall look – since it matches the face background color and creates a solid watch look and feel – but this is a wonderful way to mix it up.

There are a few pros and cons with this case/band. I just bought my third one because the last two broke. That said, the SUPCASE broke, not my watch. My first one lasted a year and 4 months. It was doomed after I was bite on the wrist by a pit bull while delivering packages for FedEx. The second one died while I was working out when the band broke and it went flying across the room. I’m fairly rough on my watches. I’m clumsy in general but also not very careful with them.Pros: Very durable case, easy to use (mostly), and comfortable to wearCons: a little hard to get the watch into the case since it’s press in, this can damage screen protectors depending on the one you use, and I’m kind of disappointed at the one that broke while I was working out since there didn’t seem to be any cracks or other signs of fatigue in the bandAll in all, if this one makes it another year and a half or more, I’ll gladly get a fourth one. I use the LK Film Screen Protector and swapping them out this time, there are still no scratches or damage of any sort anywhere on my watch after almost 3 years of rough use. Great protective case for rough use.

Love the case, very sturdy and stylish!

I’ve purchased this case twice now. It is sturdy. My husband wears this daily for over 14 hours each day and he puts it through some hard work. Super easy to install, no extra hardware needed.

After looking for a tactical Apple Watch case I stumbled upon this one. As every Amazon customer I look at reviews to see what people are saying. I was a bit skeptical on this one. Some reviews saying the straps broke and material is cheap.But after taking a leap and ordering the case I soon saw that the quality was far from cheap. While I do agree the straps will take some time to become flexible. I found no cracks or stretch marks on the strap that is bend back to remove watch.As someone who takes care of their stuff I definitely recommend this case. It’s not too bulky and looks like and stealthy with a lot of added protection to the watch itself.Just for the 1st week be careful removing the watch and try not bending the straps too much while the case earns it’s flexibility. Take care of your stuff and you’ll be surprised how long things last.
