I have been using this projector for about half a year now and I think this is one of the best investments i made. I rent and move a lot, so it is way more versatile than having to carry around a huge tv. I lived in a smaller apartment and it projected onto a smaller wall, but how that i live in a bigger place my picture is bigger too. I use it full time with apple tv, hook up my apple tv to a sound system and honestly it’s amazing. it comes with a nice case and charger so practically i can fit my entire setup in this case, including all remotes and apple tv. another cool thing is that it automatically turns on the projector with apple tv remote so you only need the philips one to play with the settings (even tho the projector automatically adjusts everything for you)

My wife bought me this projector for my birthday recently and I love it. There are so many unfamiliar projector brands on Amazon, so I decided to go with Philips even though their kickstarter funding to make these projectors is a little unorthodox.That being said, I love this little projector. I intentionally got the “dumb” projector without smart functionality built in because I’ve read that the WiFi casting doesn’t support DRM content and I prefer to use external boxes like the Rokus because I find that built-in devices tend to get clunky and slow over time.I also went with this model instead of the super slim Kodak models because I was okay with a little bigger footprint for a more ports, a remote, and better speakers. I’m hopeful that the next iPhone will have USB C out so I can connect 1 cable from my phone for a more portable experience.I like to use this projector for movie nights and lazy Saturday mornings, or just to put another sports game up on the wall beside the tv. It’s also a great travel size. I haven’t tested out the 5 hr. battery life as usually keep it plugged in.Lastly, this purchase was made from the “Philips Projector” seller, and while I was a little concerned about some of the reviews, I had a great experience. My order was fulfilled by Amazon using prime shipping, and the packaging was sealed and it was obvious the unit was new.If you’re considering buying but just aren’t sure, I can’t recommend it enough!
