I was contemplating between this model and the laser version. Went with this since it a cheaper and stock was available. It didn’t disappoint me in terms of lumens.I can still watch is a room in the day with my blinds pulled down, picture is colourful and bright. But I also realise that sharpness depends on the source. YouTube videos and photos from phone are not as sharp as I hope to be. Feels like fake 1080 resolution. But video streamed from Netflix and Disney+ are perfect. I use a google chrome cast dongle to watch these.Audio as most say is not amazing but it is enough for me. For people who likes the bass, yes you need to connect to a better speaker system or BT headset. But thankfully projector is so quiet, its own speaker is sufficient for me.

This projector is small, but packs a punch! I have it in my living room projecting a 90” image and it’s bright (except during the day it’s difficult with all the natural light in my place), and the picture quality is so great! I have it hooked up to my Apple TV so I’m running off of there but the LG device itself has apps within too. Never seen a projector this HQ!

This thing is a beast! Its bright, clear, and easy to set up. This is my first projector. I’ve been researching projectors for a while now and I knew I wanted a Short Throw due to the fact that I didn’t want people to stand up and block the beam while watching tv or a movie. this sits about 5 or so inches from the screen directly under it and produces an amazing image. It connects to all of my existing speakers and gaming systems. I’m sure there are far better and far more expensive projectors out there but this work perfectly for me. Playing games on this screen with my 7.1 surround sound system is, for lack of a better term, a game changer.

The wii like menu control was awesome. The LG menu system is excellent. At 1000 lumens it was just not bright enough for my environment. Otherwise if your use case is in a dark room most of the time, this projector is pretty good.

This projector is a minimalist’s dream come true! My apartment is all white and I had a beautiful 40” white TV, but always hated the black screen!!! I was constantly searching for an alternative and then I stumbled upon this projector. I did a lot of research, but kept coming back to this one. I LOVEEEEE IT. No more ugly black screen and I had no idea how much I would love this amazingly clear 100” screen!!!I do agree with some of the other reviews, that the internal speakers aren’t fabulous, but they are far from horrible. It even has several different sound options to play around with, such as “cinema”, “sports”, etc., depending on what you are watching. For you diehard audiophiles out there, you could simply connect your sound system via the Bluetooth. As a minimalist, I don’t want any extra speakers around, so instead I often connect my AirPods and listen/watch that way.My Apple TV is also hooked up to it via 1 of the 2 HDMI ports.Thank you LG and Amazon!!!

I am very pleased with this projector. I love the ultra short throw…it’s great not to have wires running across my ceiling as with my other projector. The magic remote takes a little getting used to, but it’s ok. For my application, I only use it to control volume, since I have my HDMI inputs going through a video switch then up to the projector. I highly recommend the projector. One other note: because of it’s design, the lens and the mirror do tend to collect dust, so I keep a cloth over it when not in use, but I wonder if there isn’t a better solution. Of course, if you attach to the ceiling, then it wouldn’t be an issue.

This is a great little projector. I was pleasantly surprised by the image quality and ultra short distance. If you experience a wavy edge at the top of the screen it is subtle depressions or dents in your wall or screen, not the projector itself. It could be brighter but really it’s fine. If you are going to be using the projector in an area with medium to high ambient light then you might wanna find something brighter. The picture I included is the projector about a foot from a wall that is painted dark blue.

Update- The issue was with my wall. You will need a screen for ultra short throw. I tried two others, one was the mi for 2000 at walmart and this lg was my favorite. Controller, size, and lamp life are great!I loved it, but the lens bends the image at the top and bottom. I ordered replacements with the same problem. I wish someone would have told me the picture doesn’t square perfectly.

Only complaint I have is when I purchased the item was $1,299.99. The very next day the price dropped to $1,237.99. I called Amazon and they said I would have to return and re-purchase the item to get the difference. Not really pleased with Amazon on this. Item is amazing though! Purchased a 100” screen for it and looks amazing! Wish the item had Netflix and other apps, I’m having to use a Roku.
