I did not get to use this because it did not work with my particular camera. I searched for a cord for my style of camera and it had the words essential camera on the page. I did not see any other camera style shown on their page. It has Arlo right on the item. It seems to be the same quality shown on Arlo’s homepage.I read many complaints of this cord ruining people’s cameras, I can say anything about that since it wouldn’t fit mine. I would suggest never using an off brand that you know nothing about. You should always use the brand that goes with you camera so that you have no problem. The cord on Arlo’s homepage is $60.00 each formy camera. So if this would have actually fit my camera it would have been an excellent price. I am currently waiting for them to mail me a return label because I have no way to print off one.I would suggest you contact the seller to make sure these cords are for your particular Arlo camera.

I almost didn’t purchase this item after reading the reviews. That would have been a mistake. The product if very high quality and worked perfectly. The cable is thicker because it is meant for outdoor use. The only caution for other buyers is that the cable is only around 3 feet long. I simply plugged it into an extenstion cord to reach the outlet.

Expensive and inconvenient. The plug block is so large it covers the plug below it, which is a problem because I have 2 cameras set up to be used side by side. Thankfully, I was able to come up with a bit of a creative solution to made them fit. I had 3 party power cables before and they showed a charging fault. After reading a few reviews, I learned that this is common with 3rd party cables and Arlo. So here I am.

Great chord,I bought this instead of the cheaper 16ft ones I bought previously, while this was substantially more money the quality is 10x better than the other, works great, came with cable guards don’t know what I was thinking too but the others that aren’t Arlo brand for my outdoor cameras.

Heard bad things about the original version of the Arlo power adapters and held off buying them. But when the new ones came out, I had to try one. So ordered one and connected it up. From the cord clamp on the bottom of the camera that keeps the cord plugged into the camera to the integrated power block, the new ones seem to be a vast improvement. So I ordered 3 more and now all 4 of my Arlo Pro cameras are connected to power and are working just fine after 2 months. If there was one complaint, it would be that the cord is too short. It is only about 6′ in length.

This is a GREAT product and very high end. I have two cameras on this cable, one plugged outside with battery and the other no battery; concerned about battery over charging so I removed. I left the battery for the Front Door plugged into an external outlet as if some un-plugged, the camera would still work. Taking my chances on the longevity of the battery being continuously charged. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cable for short runs to prevent the bunching of longer waterproof cables at 16 or 20 feet. The nail in 6mm cable clips are great to attach the cable for neatness.

As stated in title and picture I wrapped the black cord in corrugated white plastic also purchased on Amazon. Looks much better and matches camera. Also I like the piece that keeps the cord plugged in. Cameras work much better when plugged in and I no longer have to turn off when I’m working in yard to conserve battery. Great product, wish was white, but can make it work.

Works great for my Arlo Pro 2. Main reason I bought besides having the luxury of not having to charge the battery anymore, is so I can setup camera zones. I did not know unless they are plugged into AC, you cannot set zones on the camera. Unfortunate you have to buy an AC plug to use the full function of wireless cameras. Overall perfect fit and functionality
