Amazon Basics Shredder Lubricant Sheets: These do the job they are supposed to do. The lubricant is neatly contained within a paper packet, so there is no oily mess – just feed a sheet periodically through your shredder according to the directions and you should be good to go. (The directions are to feed the lubricant sheet through, and then run the shredder in reverse for approximately 10 seconds). I try to avoid shredding sticky items when at all possible, but from time to time I have to shred those annoying address labels that various organizations send out. But by using the lubricant sheets on a regular basis (particularly after shredding something like address labels), it seems to keep the shredder from those exceedingly irritating shredder jams. The price for a 24 sheet package is decent, although not the cheapest I have seen. If you happen to frequently shred a large volume of documents, you might want to purchase a larger quantity. But this 24 pack works well for typical home shredding use.

My wife complained that our shredder was about to quit. We needed yet another one. I don’t buy the cheapest stuff, rather I aim for a middle price and quality product. We had an 8 sheet shredder [8 – 10 at a time, but 8 was the max in reality] and we had replaced a lesser one two years prior so losing another was a bummer. I had almost absentmindedly ordered the cleaning and sharpening sheets here on Amazon. I reminded her that I had bought them and she remembered the storage spot. She retrieved the sheets and ran one through the failing shredder. BAM! The shredder started working much better. Now she runs a sheet through about every three MONTHS and the shredder keeps working very well.These cleaning, lubricating, and sharpening sheets work! And they will save you money and make your shredding chore go faster.AD2

I’ve been using this shredder for quite some time and it works smooth and cuts great. I use it in my home and live the fact it will take 8 sheets at one time.

They didn’t really come with lots of information, but I bought it was the value and there are tons of instructions and videos on the internet. I’m not convinced yet if it helps any but time will tell. I’ll update this if I run into any issues.

Tried it a few days ago to keep my shedder, which I have not used for a while, sharpen and lubricated. Easy to use and the instruction are very easy to follow. Will definitely purchase again when I run out of sheets.
