(second review) For the price, this amazing product is well worth the purchase. I like Pyle. I used a 5-disk changer for years; when it went out, I got this receiver to play songs in a continuous fashion. With the remote, a person can keep mp3 files in folders and change from folder to folder, leaving a single folder or all songs on repeat, and the remote has a pause button that works well. ‘If’ you are into singing with songs, especially with someone else, it may be a lot of fun for you. I never used the mic inputs, and the mp3 playback abilities took me a few days to figure, yet it worked great. I am into audio and song recording and usually will leave a folder of new tracks on repeat to consider what may be best to do with them or future experimental tracks. The bluetooth does connect well and there are other inputs, as seen in the product description. I did not take the time to register the item the first time I bought it six months ago and ‘mistakingly’ wired a four-speaker circuit that burned out a resistor and a capacitor within the receiver. My mistake and I do not recommend someone opening the enclosure without at least an intermediate knowledge of electronics – capacitors that store over 24 volts are potentially lethal and a life risk should not be taken lightly. That being said, the receiver worked so well during its first time around that I ordered the same product and am joyous that it was still available. If it had a record to mp3 function I would consider the PDA7BU even more impossible to surpass with what I could find on the market, especially with the dual mic inputs that have an echo knob. I also recommend the Dual speakers that are usually showed at the bottom of the Amazon product page along with the banana plugs and thick-gauge speaker wire. It is fun to assemble – the larger of the two options of the dual speakers present a deep boom totally worth the money, even when turned down low. I did not opt for the subwoofer and was not tempted too; if you get the Dual speakers, notice the ‘label’ on the front can be adjusted to vertical or horizontal, they can be laid on a shelf or mounted well in otherwise fashion. I totally appreciate a product with that much ability for its cost and simplicity. Do not let it frustrate that the flashdrive will only play mp3s from a drive and is not a ‘decoder,’ if the term is close. As in, if you have a pedometer that plays mp3s and can communicate with a usb cable the receiver will not play mp3s by selection of the songs from a player. The inputs can receive audio as described in the product description – it worked fine with a 5-disk changer input into female rca ports. If you plan to hook up more than two speakers with it, which I really see no point in, be sure to contact Pyle and confirm the manner of installation before hand for safety and durability reasons. It is a sleek receiver, thin and able to be mounted in a sturdy fashion with the metal brackets that come with the device. There are many receivers; I chose this one twice. 🙂 Thank you to Pyle, and get one if you can to else. The one drawback, short not being able to record or having a headphone/aux out is the bright display not being able to be dimmed. Do not look at it for long amounts of time within under six feet or so – there is nothing wrong with using ‘matte’ tape (the ‘dull, not see-through-shiny-Christmas-wrapping-tape-yet-still-see-through-and-common-tape’) on the front of the led screen (as one can do with a common led bulb) to have a less detrimental display. There is also nothing wrong with painting a spot on the top of the remote with white-out and putting a piece of tape on top of it in order to see the orientation of the remote quickly within dim lighting (worked well for me). If you purchase this product, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did; I had to make do without it for a few weeks. With one flash drive, I can select from at least 500 songs; there is not much of a reason to get a flash drive with more than 8 or 16 gigs. I recommend ScanDisk flash drives Only; Do not format the flash drive if you opt for that route. Over all, the PDA7BU is my favorite home audio receiver.(first review)Shopping to replace a 5-disk changer took me months. I found a 3-disk changer and it went out in 40 days, so I got a 5-disk that was the changer only (no speakers). Of course, I would also need an amp and speakers, so I shopped on Amazon extensively for a good deal on a good one and found what I was looking for. It is great for hooking up a CD player, Bluetooth, and rca in/TV; I use it mostly for playing mp3s. It does well to play from a flash drive with mp3s in folders and can be left on repeat. For the price, I simply cannot complain and wonder if anything else could have compared. The speakers I got with it hit hard enough,(Dual Electronics: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NX5U/)even though I keep it turned down. The remote has pause, volume, and other controls for radio and mp3. This is an awesome product and I have appreciated its abilities. Thank you Pyle and Amazon.

My old receiver in my shop died and it did not have Bluetooth anyway. This Pyle amp fit the bill perfectly as I have a 12” powered sub out there and once getting the correct cord to hook it up is now rocking. I have seen some complaints about the sub volume being separate but that has not been an issue with me as I am standing right there anyway when I turn it on and setting the sub separately is no big deal. Besides, sometimes I just want some background noise without the bass drops and having a separate volume for the sub makes that easy. I did have to get some new bookshelf speakers though as the ones I were using just could not handle the power of this Pyle and were ancient anyway. Now it’s rocking out there for less than $150.00 bucks for this amp and new speakers, sub not included. The Bluetooth connects instantly with my I phone. The remote is the weak link in the package as mine just plain ol doesn’t work but I don’t care. The Mica MB42 speakers are perfect with this amp and sound amazing for a shop.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this Pyle amplifier and I’m absolutely loving it! The setup was incredibly simple – all I had to do was connect my home speakers, and I was ready to go.The amplifier has an impressive range of features, which make it great value for money. It is compatible with Bluetooth devices and can also be connected via AUX, USB, and SD cards. This makes it super easy to stream music from any device. Additionally, there’s a built-in FM radio tuner with an antenna for access to local radio stations. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a 1/4″ audio/microphone input for connecting microphones or other instruments. The sound quality is fantastic – loud and clear with no distortion. The sound is adjustable using the bass, treble, and volume controls on the amplifier itself or with the included remote control. It really brings out the best sound my music collection has to offer!BONUS – Whether you’re streaming from your smartphone or listening to your favorite radio station, the Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Audio Amplifier will take your listening experience to the next level!

Limited channels left on my mixer, this has additional inputs RCA that give me a few more inputs. The sound quality is decent for FM, the antenna worked ok in my area, i purchased another antenna to get better reception.Bluetooth works fine, I am usually near the unit when using bluetooth. The 1/8″ input in the front worked out great to connect my laptop when I need to hear things from it. The LCD screen is easy to read. The FM station selection is a little annoying, you cannot punch in a station, it does a scan and saves any frequency it can lock into, including some that are not radio stations, just a lock on the frequency. You cannot punch in a station, hit scan fwd or back to get to the station you are looking for, if it has not locked into memory before, you need to move the antenna around and try to get it to lock. Instructions don’t give to much info. That said, the price for a 1u receiver is great. It handles a lot of my needs at a reasonable price. The speaker outs are banana plugs so I had to purchase an adapter for 1/4.” Has Bass and Treble adjustments plus two 1/4″ microphone inputs with individual gains. Great to talk over music, a presentation, etc. a very versatile unit. The volume knob works fine to me, no sudden jumps, as you move up or down you can feel a little click at each interval. There is a cool blue light around the front of the volume knob which I like but if computer power adapters that light up when plugged in annoys you, this may do the same. You can always put black tape to cover it if it bothers you that much.I recommend the unit, works for me to listen to FM station and have a convenient volume control + BT, additional inputs and SD Card and USB at this price, a solid unit.PS, purchased a used unit previously and it was missing parts and didn’t work as advertised, so there may be some quality control issues.

Does very well for the price point. I have it hooked up in a 3.1 setup. Plenty of power and clear. There are certain nuances that seem to be missing but again the value for dollar shines on this unit. Very pleased.

Man I’m irrationally happy with this amp!!All I’ve done is hook it up to my two floor speakers instead of my PC pair+sub.I have two more half-floor-sized to connect when I locate my hank of wire. Then just a new sub and maybe a center channel.Great sound quality, and it gets LOUD. Gonna be great for the drums/bass/guitar/turns work!

Gracias

Bring in your Bluetooth devices and MP3 music thumbdrives , analog inputs from decks. Some DJ inputs if thats your thing too. Decent sound for any music. The Mode select pushbutton inteterface isn’t the easiet to use, but you get it. Analog inputs are manually controlled with a Volume knob.

Just got this for my room upstairs to listen to my collection of classical symphony records. Was a good price point for me and it has connections for four speakers. Was not sure if I would have to buy a turntable pre amp because it does not have a ground connection, but it sounds great without one but depending on your setup it would be advisable to get one.

So far am extremely pleasantly surprised with my PDA7BU Bluetooth Receiver. Actually I wasn’t expecting a lot for the price. But the PDA7BU so far has blown away my expectations. I have Polk Rti6 bookshelf speakers connected and the sound is totally awesome. I got the 5 channel 2.1 unit because I meant to add a powered subwoofer later. But the sound my Polk RTi6 bookshelf speakers are delivering connected to the PDA7BU Pyle Receiver is way to much for my bedroom so it’s gonna be hard to justify adding a subwoofer. I can’t crank it but about 1/4 before my ears starts being effected. Now I’m thinking like is too good to be true. I had given up on trying to repurpose my Polk Book shelf speakers speakers I originally had in a 5.1 surround sound setup. I couldn’t find a reasonable price surround sound receiver so I opted for a Polk 2.1 sound bar in my game room AV setup. This $70.00 dollar Pyle PDA7BU Receiver in my bedroom setup seems almost too good to be true so it’s scary. I added the additional insurance and I’m still under $100 dollars.I have brought new life back into my bookshelf Polk bookshelf speakers. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
