Have an older soundbar that was originally with a Sony 900f. The soundbar doesn’t want to pair with the newer Sony remotes. Since it was already paired with the older Sony remote this purchase was as easy as putting in batteries. As an added bonus the remote also controls all features and menus on my new Sony. At this price I went ahead and bought a backup.

This remote is a Sony original we had purchased a non brand remote that the buttons didn’t work well but this remote works great and the buttons work smoothly

The name brand remote was almost half the cost as ‘universal’ remotes. No fuss with setup. It just worked and very well. Super happy!

Fired up immediately after inserting batteries. No programming the remote required. No pairing mode or anything like that needed. Genuine Sony product instead of some cheaply made knockoff. The difference between this and a “universal” type option was about a dollar. Spend the extra buck on this and avoid any headaches.Works great for an XBR series TV. Its actually a slightly newer model than the remote the TV originally came with. It doesn’t have any voice command functionality, but I don’t care because I use an alternate streaming source anyway. I can easily access all other features and functions of the TV and, most importantly, make any picture adjustments I want to. Something you cannot do at all without a remote for my particular TV. If I lost or broke this remote, I’d buy another immediately. I’m happy with the purchase.

Really!! The remote came in with no instructions. I dreaded look up how to… I just put batteries in and pushed the power button marked sync menu and bam! It turned my TV on and the channels were all there. Very happy!!! So easy and worth it!!
Heavy, odd fitment. Couldn’t keep them in my ears regardless of the size tips I chose. It’s a strange material used, doesn’t adhere to the ear well. Returned for over-ear version. –
The IR sensor works when you aren’t pointing it at the TV, and it’s OEM. Great quality.

My Bravia is a 2017 model so I was skeptical if this remote would work but it works perfectly. The buttons you have to press little hard sometimes though.

I honestly thought this was going to be some cheap knockoff, but as far as I can tell it’s the real thing. You can’t beat it for the price.
