For the price and what I’m using it for, this is perfect. I use it to transfer songs from my computer to a mini studio for editing and adding parts to songs. I hardly notice any loss of quality, but there is just the tiniest amount of hiss. Nothing that won’t come out with a parametric eq. I would recommend this product for all but the most exacting of uses.

I was using a thin 3.5mm headphone extension cable to connect my computer to my studio monitors. There was some buzzing. With this cable the buzzing is reduced a lot. Works great! It’s not balanced, but it’s a higher quality cable than your random headphone cable.

Two good reasons to order this cable: no hum and very situation friendly.Gotta have a no-hum cable and this is very quiet; not all cables are. I am using this in a professional video editing suite, from a computer fed DAC to JBL active monitors.The real reason I recommend this cable is its flexibility. I needed a small run to one speaker, and a much longer run to the other. This cable lets you do this; it doesn’t have a plastic piece tying the two ends together. Very easy to split the leads to the exact length needed to reach each speaker.Good stuff!
