From the moment I unboxed the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC Wireless Earbuds, I was impressed with the sleek design and quality of both the earbuds and their charging case. The packaging was premium, setting a positive tone for the entire experience.Comfort and Fit: Wearing these earbuds for hours at a time has been a breeze, thanks to their ergonomic design. They fit securely in my ears, providing a snug fit that doesn’t loosen even during my daily runs, which is a significant plus.Sound Quality: The audio performance of these earbuds is stellar. The noise cancelling feature works wonders, allowing me to immerse myself in rich, detailed soundscapes free from outside disturbances. The balance between bass, mids, and trebles is just right, offering a satisfying listening experience for a variety of music genres.Battery Life: The battery life is commendable, aligning closely with the manufacturer’s claims. I’ve been able to use the earbuds for several days on a single charge, with the case providing ample extra juice when needed.Connectivity and Controls: Pairing the earbuds with my devices was straightforward, and I’ve experienced no connectivity issues so far. The touch controls are intuitive, making it easy to adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate noise cancellation without reaching for my phone.Additional Features: The transparency mode is a standout, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings without compromising on audio quality. The in-ear detection feature, which pauses playback when an earbud is removed, is another thoughtful addition.Value for Money: Considering the quality, features, and performance of the Liberty 4 NC Wireless Earbuds, I believe they offer excellent value for their price. They stand up well against higher-priced competitors, making them a smart choice for anyone in the market for noise-cancelling earbuds.Overall Recommendation: I’m thoroughly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC Wireless Earbuds to anyone seeking high-quality, feature-rich wireless earbuds. Whether you’re an audiophile or just someone who appreciates good sound and convenience, these earbuds are sure to impress.

These are a considerable step up in sound quality, battery life, and functionality from my old JLabs Executive buds (which cost more at the time when I bought them). The ONLY thing I have yet to assess on these is the call quality on the receiving end (the mic). The sound quality is very clear and very customizable. 4 stars instead of 5 only because everything is a little bass heavy, and while there’s an adjustable EQ it’s hard to tone down very much w/out sacrificing some of the other sound. If you’re into strong kick bass it hits hard though. Other than that, the sound is very clear and crisp (albeit I am not an audiophile). The noise canceling also got a 4 only because I’ve heard slightly better before on higher end headphones, but not by much. These actually cancel noise very well. I think the only way they’d be able to cancel more is if they had foam earbud tips instead of the thin silicone ones that are standard on most buds like this. The app functionality is simple and intuitive and the button presses on the buds themselves are fully customizable (which is awesome!). They literally do everything I want them to do.The charging/storage case is something no one talks about. I like this too from a mechanical standpoint. The buds are magnetically held into place as well as the clamshell lid. I appreciate this as you only have to get the buds close to where they go and then they are pulled into place…not a big deal, but feels higher quality. The only drawback here is the case light that tells you if it is charging, low on battery, etc. It is a single white light that is either solid, pulses slowly, pulses fast, or does the same in red when battery is getting low. I personally much prefer just a series of lights sequentially go out as the battery drains. This is much easier to just glance at rather than having to stare at a single light to see if its going to pulse slowly. Minor nitpick.Overall very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

It’s always too early to tell with tech items, so here’s my day one review. I’ll update this as the months go by if anything changes. For context, I’ve been working at a warehouse where power tools are always blaring. The ANC has done wonders to mitigate this noise — I can only hear the loudest of tools and it’s a very manageable hum, with my music being louder than it (65 db, as determined from the app). It’s not completely silent, as many say, but that’s to be expected from earbuds. I own the Life Q30s from Soundcore as well and can attest to their quality, so I had some high expectations for these. Needless to say they’ve done the job quite well. For looks, they’re great. The case is cool, too. For comfort, not sure yet. I never used earbuds extensively before, so my ears have felt some discomfort, but that might just be the need to get used to this. The app has been great and the UI is a big improvement from when I first got my Q30s. My one qualm is the lack of volume control. It would be nice to have that available on the earbuds (perhaps a tap macro in a future update) rather than having to reach and grab my phone. But, that doesn’t detract anything from my liking of the buds themselves. As for sound quality — the bad reviews that say the sound sucks have never touched the Soundcore app. The “Soundcore Signature” default just isn’t that good… most people can agree with this. But once you change that and find something you like, the quality is wonderful.Overall, a really good start for these. I’m excited to see how these will go.UPDATE: it’s now October, so roughly 3 months since I bought these headphones. I must say I’ve had no major issues so far. There have been some quirks — sometimes the sound goes all wonky for a split second as if the headphones are having trouble deciding what sound profile they were using. This only happens once every few days, and I use these headphones a LOT, so it’s a drop in the ocean. There was also a time where the headphones somehow became uncoupled overnight — one headphone connected and the other didn’t, and after a scare thinking that the earbuds were busted I just reset them and all was good. This only happened once. Sound quality hasn’t changed, comfortability hasn’t changed, and the NC is a lot more noticeable in a busy college environment. I still heavily recommend these, they’ve been wonderful and honestly worth the price tag.

After having given away my AirPod pro 2 to my wife I didn’t want to spend the money on another pair and took a flyer on these after reading a few reviews and then seeing a few video reviews on YouTube. In all honesty I broke down after buying the Soundcore Liberty 2.0 and waiting to get them and bought another pair of AirPod pro 2 so here are my unprofessional thoughts in comparisonAbout the Soundcore Liberty 2.0 airbuds:Soundcore Liberty 2.01. Sound is outstanding. Great bass and treble range and fully customizable2. Easily pair without issue with iPhone3. The Soundcore app is excellent and helps to do everything from noise cancellation, customization of your specific tone,to a hearing test and monitor decibel level and adjust for safety4.Case is solid and magnetic hold for the buds solid. Easy to wirelessly charge. I dropped them on a tile floor from 4 feet and no issue5. Buds are extra comfortable and light. Had them in for 5 hours straight without issue.6.I flew from JFK to Honolulu and spent 30Min with them out of my ears in the case listening to audiobooks, movies and with noise cancellation on and it was without issue7. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the noise cancellation is good but not incredible. I put the AirPods on for those 30 min on the plane and there was no other sound than the audiobook. The Soundcore I would estimate were about 90% of this. Pretty solid and outside of a plane I can’t hear my wife talking unless I have the transparency mode on.Conclusion: I would definitely buy them again. If you absolutely must have the gold standard of noise cancellation and are willing to pay another $150 then the AirPods are your choice but if you are looking at this review you are probably like me and are looking for a great alternative. I am on the treadmill currently and the Soundcore 2s are what I have in. The AirPods will sit in a drawer for when my wife or kids tell me they lost theirs and the only reason I bought another pair was because Walmart had that crazy thanksgiving sale and they were sub $200. I agree with the all the reviews out there that the Soundcore Liberty 2s are an excellent alternative and punch way above their weight. Highly recommend.

I was in the market for new earbuds due to Samsung’s causing ear irritation. These earbuds punch higher than their price. The fit in the ear is very comfortable. The case is sleek and compact. The magnets holding the earbuds in the case are strong. Out of the box they sounded very good, but with Soundcore’s app you can choose various EQ settings and dial in exactly what you want. The noise cancellation is fine. It isn’t the the best on the market but it’s perfectly adequate.

3rd set of Anker products over several years, this is my first set of ‘ear buds’, normally I go for the necklace for battery reasons. It took a few fits to get the right set of ear tips, but after that, these stay in place throughout my day. Because I work in a factory, I can only have one in at a time, so it’s great that these come with a case that can charge them should you have to switch sides, which I haven’t had to do yet because I haven’t been able to hit the bottom of the battery life in a single shift yet. I’m not an audiophile, so I can’t tell you how these sound against other ear buds, but I’m extremely pleased with the sound. Music sounds amazing across music, video, podcasts and calls. You can also experiment with the amount of noise cancellation and audio presets using the app, which you can download and use without signing up for anything. It also allows you to adjust the settings of each bud to respond to different functions using one, two or three taps, or press and hold. So when I’m using both at home, press and hold on the right is volume +, press and hold on the left is volume -. Single tap is pause and double tap is skip, etc. Probably being overly wordy with this, extremely happy with these. When I have both of them in, it feels like the sound is coming from the inside of my head out to my ears. They have the drivers on these things dialed in!

I’ve gone through several pairs of cheap and mid-price ear buds (< $100). Three I like are the earfun pro 3, 1more comfobuds pro, and now the Anker Liberty 4NC. Overall the Ankers win hands down. I think they have the best sound and by far the best wind resistance. After you load up their app and connect to the buds it gives you a hearing test to give a base level of response, then gives a bunch of A-B comparisons to a piece of music asking which one you prefer as it tweaks the response curve. I think the end result is great, but I'm no audiophile and am 65, so take that for what it is worth. The other two are good, too (I rate the 1more buds above the earfun's, but I like them all). I got the 1mores first, and if I were only going by sound quality I'd have stopped there (glad I didn't, but I didn't know that at the time!).I usually listen to them when I ride my bike on a local rails-to-trails path. The downfall of the 1mores is that there is a lot of wind noise that comes through. Noise cancelling overall is good, but not for wind. So I saw the earfuns on sale, so tried them. Much better wind noise reduction, but still more than I'd like. Finally I saw these and bought a pair on their launch. As I mentioned above the sound is great, and the wind noise reduction is very, very good. I hear a little from time to time, but most of the time I feel the wind on my face but can only hear it if I am really looking for it. They have a lot of modes you can set it too, but the one that works the best for me against wind is manual mode, maximum (level 5) noise cancelling with wind reduction on.They remember their settings no problem after you take them out of their case. The earfuns seemed to turn off sometimes (go back to non-cancelling mode). The worst thing about that in the earfun case is that in order to connect to the buds with their app you MUST have an internet connection. This was a problem on my last flight as you might imagine. The 1mores were great on the flight -- and no issues about connecting to the app in flight. It was a transatlantic flight and they ran out of juice so I switched to the earfuns for a while so they could get enough charge back into them. With the 1mores the engine noise and other extraneous airplane sounds were almost gone and I enjoyed my music. I have not flown with the Anker's yet. Hopefully they will do as well as the 1more's there (but I'll have the 1more's along just in case!). Supposedly the battery lasts longer in the Anker's, but only ride for about 3 hours at a time so I have not tested that. One final GREAT thing about the Ankers vs the others I've tried is that you can disable the on-bud controls. I always have my phone on my bike, so if I need to change modes I can do so. Since I found settings I like I don't need to anyway.... In the app you can select what every combination of taps does individually. And every combination has a do nothing setting. You'll still get a beep if you trigger the setting while inserting or wiggling the bud around, but it has no effect. Just what I want. If I want to skip a song my phone is right there, usually with the app up that is playing said songs.Sometimes I start hearing wind, and that just means the buds have slipped a bit. A quick twist or wiggle and the wind is gone. They've never fallen out, but I'm riding a recumbent so I'm just sitting in a lawn chair while I pedal.I use these only for listening to music. My wife called me when I was out while using the earfuns and she said I sounded fine. I have not used these so far to talk on the phone while I ride so I cannot speak to that.

I’ll start this off by saying I have became a huge fan of soundcore over the last couple years now, their Q30 has been my go to for watching movies in bed or hanging around the house but this liberty 4 is exactly what I would expect out of soundcore, quality construction, simple operation and affordability. I run mine mostly on IOS devices without any issues. If you’re able to get over the “name brand” like Bose, Beats, Sony etc… these liberty 4 will be all around better than any of those at this price point. Oh one other thing I really like is the call quality, I always had issues being heard on the major brand earbuds, I’ve yet to have a single issue with the liberty 4!

Had to replace my gen 1 AirPods Pro which were both accidentally destroyed. I really didn’t want to spend $200 so I looked for alternatives knowing that nothing would be as good as the AirPods pro, which were stellar. I landed on these. I am very surprised. They are really good – I like them more than my AirPod pros. The noise cancellation is important for me and I feel like it is better with these than with the AirPods. Surprisingly I also like the tap interface more than the AirPod pro, where you squeeze them. And, you can pair them with the iPhone as well as with my work computer and use them for both seamlessly. The AirPod pros always stunk when it came to connecting to my windows machine. So much so I bought a cheapo pair just for work meetings. But these work great. I mainly use them with my iPhone and you know how apple is when it comes to working with non apple products – so I really expected them to not be that great but they really exceeded my expectations.

There’s nothing I dislike about these headphones. First of all, I love the color. Absolutely in love with the color. Then there’s the sound. Phenomenal. There’s options for noise-cancelling, transparency, and normal, so you can choose which mode you want. The noise-cancelling doesn’t cancel like all the noise, like if you’re in a restaurant with music playing as I am now, you can still hear the music. But background noises like conversations and dishes clanking are mostly silenced. The music quality is great as well, but my favorite feature of these headphones is the ability to listen to white noise through the app and even create your own white noise mix. Since I got these mainly to listen to white noise while studying, this feature is absolutely perfect. They are very comfortable to wear as well. They fit in your ear perfectly! The app that comes with these headphones has a lot of really cool features too, like using your unique “hearing ID” to tailor the sound to your specific hearing needs.Overall, I highly recommend these headphones!! Get them!!
