My 12 year old daughter has adhd and autism. She is very sensitive, especially with tactile things like clothes, shoes, and headphones. We searched extensively for headphones she liked and when her first pair broke we tried to buy similar ones but she has been very consistent that these are the only ones that will do. I thought she might enjoy being cord free and tried buying some Bluetooth ones that were the same brand it was still a no from her. It’s these or bust. The padding is comfortable for her and blocks noise a little too effectively. I have to really shout before she hears me trying to talk to her with them on. We have gone through a few pairs now. She is really rough on her things (I often find them on the floor or with cord wrapped in the brushes of the robot vacuum) and I’d say these usually last us about 6 months. Her sister really likes them too so we keep 3 pairs on hand so they each have their own plus an extra in case one breaks. This was the first time I saw them in pink and she was very pleased!
