Have the rear cycle light by garmin and it comes with adapter and a rubber band to wrap around seat post. I ordered the garmin seat post mount which is more of a circle shape and would not fit on my wife’s sear post. This one mounts on the seat and it mounts easy and very secure.

This sturdy post makes installation and removal of the Garmin radar brake light much easier than the clamp with rubber bands that comes with with the light. At some point, those rubber bands are going to break and I certainly don’t want to the brake light to fall off while I’m riding.

This rock solid mount keeps my varia just where it belongs.

While I liked being able to easily and quickly remove the Garmin Varia removable mount.. This was just so much more stable. No more worrying about the light getting loose/falling. No more getting crooked during recharging. Ended up buying multiple to put on each of my bikes.

This works for either a Varia rear radar or Varia rear radar/integrated light. To be honest, shame on Garmin for not including this in the box. The Varia line comes with one of those rubber band style mounts, and while it’s probably fine, especially on the road as opposed to a hard trail – these things are expensive, and I’d rather have a mount like this.Attached via Allen wrench, this is pretty simple. Screw the mount onto your rear post, and the radar or radar/light combo will attach into the mount the same way a Garmin bike computer does.

After using the bracket with the rubber band that came with RTL515 for about a year, am glad to finally get a “real” bracket made by Garmin. Install took less than a couple of minutes and now I don’t have to worry about the rubber band snapping and dropping the radar.

Took the older rubber washer off and put on my older bike, which only gets 10-12 miles a couple times a week. This clamp goes on my road bike that gets 40-50 miles a couple days a week. It is so much sturdier I don’t have to worry about my Varia falling off from the pot holes and rough roads. Now I can use my Varia on both bikes!

A Must Have for Garmin Varia! This is my second one, one on road bike and the other one on gravel bike. Sturdy and will protect the Varia from falling off when rubber band snaps off the stock attachment.

I liked that is more secure than the rubber band mount that came with my varia radar.

I have attached the female Garmin adapter to the back of my Cliq rear bike light in order to have a more secure way of attaching and removing my light from my bike so this Garmin Seat Post adapter is perfect for completing this conversion of mine. Though a little pricey it was worth the money for me. This seat post mount can possibly open up alternative options for securing a rear light to your bike other than the silicon bans that most rear lights come with nowadays.
