After 11 months using this product inside and outside, comparing data side by side to Trackman at Club Champion, this product is more than worth its price and is nearly identical to trackman #’s. When using the simulator indoors, I highly encourage the Titleist RCT golf balls as it accurately tracks spin due to the reflective layer underneath the balls cover. If you don’t have these balls, it’s an algorithm to estimate spin which can be misleading to true spin numbers. If you’re trying to fit yourself for a new driver, you need those golf balls. Without these balls, my spin was estimated to be around 4,000 RPM which i know is inaccurate. Once i put the balls in play, my spin dropped to my expected 1900-2200 number at 114 mph club head speed.I’m using the r10 with the E6 simulator software and it’s fantastic. The interface is already built in the garmin app, you just need a computer that can run the software. I’ve used awesome golf and it wasn’t realistic enough for me. E6 is LIDAR based and has a yearly subscription that is reasonable. I’m using a gaming computer and have no issues. Again, the RCT balls accurately track spin, even on chips via the E6 software. It wasn’t tracking this on chips (showed 0rpm spin) until I put these balls in place. My yardages are spot on to my exact carry numbers. I don’t ever focus on total distance as that is always misleading for any simulator. I found that optimal indoor lightning is absolutely necessary for the simulator to capture each swing. You need ample room (about 8 feet) for the garmin to be able to capture the RCT ball spin #. The best thing about the garmin unit is ability to modify elevation, humidity, and temperature within the garmin app (if using E6 software you can only modify elevation). This is HUGE! Golfers underestimate all three of these factors when playing golf. There are a lot of weekend hacks on youtube that can’t use launch monitors to their fullest capacity, and I can genuinely say this is a great unit.I feel you can benefit from this unit and would highly recommend if you’re a data golfer like myself.

First, it is not perfect! But if you are looking for something affordable and easy to use that will give you great feedback on your swing mechanics then this is what you want. I use this indoors and outdoors. As long as you are the proper distance behind the ball and give it at least 10 feet in front to get data it is pretty darn good. The Garmin app is mediocre at best. I purchased the Amazing Golf App to use with it. It was a little more to get the lifetime license but well worth it.

I have compared this to a track man and the distance is spot on. The swing parameters are a little off but accurate enough for swing analysis. For example track man said I was 1degrees right and garment n said I was 3 degrees right. Very close and for the price more than well worth it. Was thinking about mevo plus but three times the price and even more if you want the pro package that’s show swing measurements, garmin is the better choice. I did buy a stand to put it on to ensure it’s the same height as my hitting mat as well as ensuring it’s level. Thanks seem to be important according to tests I’ve seen online. Also ensure you calibrate it after setting it in place before every hitting session. I also bought silver stickers to help with accuracy, better than getting expensive radar capturing golf balls like the titleist rct. I’m very pleased with it, long battery life, easy to use and just as good as the 2 to 3k mevo plus.

Very simple to set up. Wish they included a few free courses.

I got the R10 and used it initially with their app and some of the free trials. However after joining many of the FB groups for R10 users I learned about and researched GSPro. I now have a relatively cheaper starter golf sim in my garage and what a difference it has made on my game. The ability to hit balls in the evening after work and work on fixing your swing at home before going to the course is incredible. This has been by far the best investment I’ve made in my golf game in 20+ years of playing. No RST balls required, no major setup. just a net, a mat, and a laptop with the gspro software with the r10 passing the data and away you go.The one thing to note, you have to have the room for the r10 to record the swing data for longer clubs like the Driver or woods. I have mine at 7′ from r10 to hitting area and then another 7′ to the impact screen. So all in all about 15′ long. But if you’ve got that you’re good to go!

Awesome practice tool for any golf to have in the bag or just plain old fun to play with! Very satisfied and recommend this product if looking for a great simulator.

Amazing accuracy for the size of the product

Purchased in the beginning of the season to make my range sessions and at home net sessions more purposeful. I have also used with my kids to help them understand flight dynamics, yardage etc. I’ve also used on course with friends. It’s really a great product and I have enjoyed it. With regard to accuracy, it’s great. Just a few range sessions of assessing club yardage has led to better club selection on the course. I’ve lowered my handicap a few strokes and shot a few personal low rounds this year after dialing in yardages. Recently, I had a number on the course and dropped a wedge to tap in distance solely as a result of being better informed. I haven’t scratched the surface of the games and I will likely do so during the winter months. Overall, I would purchase again and I am satisfied with the product.

I compared this to my friend’s Full Swing launch monitor ($5k). The ball data was almost identical, and the club data was within 1.5 percentage points (ex. path on R10 could be .5 degrees left and Full Swing could be .7 degrees right). The great thing about the club data on the R10 is it’s consistent. So if you’re excessively in to out (like me) at 8 degrees, you can relatively shift your path by 6 degrees to make it more neutral. The exact measurement at that point doesn’t matter, unless you’re a pro.The greatest feature for me, and most golfers, is the ability to automatically capture video along with club/ball data. Being able to see swing changes in real time and measure the impact is invaluable. I’ve been able to drastically improve my posture, positions, and metrics in only 4 range sessions with my R10.I do have some intermittent issues with the Garmin app on my Pixel 6 Pro getting disconnected from the R10. Usually if my phone is connected to my Pixel Watch, or if a get a phone call during a session, the video capture will stop working, and I’ll have to end my session, reconnect to the R10, and start a new session. It’s a minor annoyance that takes a couple of minutes to resolve, but it would be nice if it didn’t happen at all.I haven’t tried this indoors yet, but that is a project for this weekend. Again, as long as it’s consistently reading club and ball data indoors, I’m not worried about 100% accuracy.Overall, awesome product, and can’t recommend highly enough.
