Every time I look at my medium size box of power-bricks/wall-warts I’ve collected over the years, I wonder why laptop manufacturers haven’t standardized chargers and connectors all together (though we all know it’s for upselling). I could take that a big step further and wish that we had standard 6/12/24/48 VDC supplies/connectors for all electronics…with perhaps some minimal/varying amperage/sizing…which would have eliminated an unfathomable amount of power adapters currently located in closets and landfills. USB-C autosensing multi-voltage adapters and PD seems to be promising and a step towards that…so after 50 years of DC powered consumer electronics…yay!A 65W adapter would have worked for my laptop, but, though this adapter is bigger in form (about 2x) compared to the 65W adapters, I like that this provides 100W power for versatility/future-proofing (and faster charging depending on the computer)…and mostly because I ultimately ordered this for use with a dock. (Note that the USB-C main connector provides 100W. The USB-A port provides 12W power for secondary device power).Sure, I can power/charge my cell phone and other devices through my computers USB ports…but the additional USB-A port is a convenient feature…especially if/when you configure your BIOS/UEFI to disable power to the USB ports when the laptop is off/standby/hibernating/disconnected.Bottom Line:Check the wattage requirements and PD capabilities of your laptop…but this adapter works for me.

This power adapter can be used with a wide range of devices, notebooks, laptops, tablets. I was able to use it to power and charge both Apple, PC, and Android devices quickly and easily. It has the power to charge just about any regular laptop or tablet. It has a very long cable length because both the cable to the outlet and the cable to the device are long. Combined, it is over 6 feet. It is black and the cables are thick. It feels durable and I expect it to last a long time and to be able to take when I travel.It has the standard USB-C charging connector and it also has a USB-A port to charge a second smaller device, like a phone. That is a handy feature and saves carrying another power adapter or brick. It is on the heavier side so know that when you buy it. Higher quality and durability weighs more. It is an excellent value for the price.

I got this for use with a DJI Air 3, for charging batteries with the DJI Charging Hub and charging the RC2 controller at the same time.I works great for both; I was able to plug it into the charging hub and charge all 3 batteries fairly quickly and at the same time was able to use its USB port to charge the controller with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.And it stores well on the case I use for the Air 3, so I’m able to take it on the go with me.

I picked this up to have a secondary plug for a MacBook. I really like the ample cord length and am a big fan of the USB port built into the brick in order to have another option for charging another device. I’ve used this for about a week and a half now and am very pleased with the result.

I wanted this to have a spare charger, as I have been known to forget my charging cord, so I now have one that I can just leave at work and keep the other at home. It does it’s job, and is compatible with my Acer chromebook, which uses a usb-c charging port. It has an additional usb-a port on it as well, which is super handy, and it can be used to simultaneously charge another device without the need for an additional wall outlet. Pricewise, it seems to sit in the middle- you can definitely get more basic, cheaper charging cords, but there are definitely more expensive options, and with the additional usb port, I feel like the price is pretty good.
