I’m a telecom professional and i was very pleased with these. I purchased these as i was transitioning from the standard RJ45 connectors to the pass-thru technology. I’ve found that that Cat 6 cable with a spline were easier to achieve a more solid termination. Its important to note that you need to push the cable in as far as it can go and getting part of the outer jacket inside of the connector prior to crimping. So many times in the field i have found where too much of the outer jacket was cut back and only the 4 pairs actually enter the connector. Now the individual who terminated that end may have skated by but it leads to a much higher risk of failing. With pass-thru technology, that type of event will prolly cause the pairs to pull out of the connector and fail. These connectors have worked great for me and very pleased with price and quality!

Seem well made and convenient with the plastic jar with a lid and handle. I will be all set for any network cable repairs or building custom cables for quite a while now and they got here very quickly with prime shipping.I had to replace the plugs on some damaged cables and these seem to work fine. If you push the jacket too deep into the plug it will crimp but not fully seat into the jack so be careful about that. Once I figured that out I made several new ends that work fine with my security NVR. You do have to be careful the wires feed into the spots they are supposed to but you can double check that once they are fed through the plug, if they are wrong pull them out and refeed them through. All the cables are working again and snap in place nicely.

I’ve had several projects lately where my son and I have installed new network equipment, cameras, and phones in old bars and churches. Lots of terminations are required and I had wanted to try pass thru conectors. These are the cat’s meow! You do have to purchase a different crimp tool to snip the wires , but the pass thru feature takes the guess work out of how long to leave the wires, reduces the time to terminate, and results in far fewer bad terminations…. if you can put the wires in the right order, you will make a good termination. I also like the packaging. Putting them in a small plastic jar makes them easy to find, easy to grab a connector, and keeps them from being scattered in my work bag.

Bought them based on another review. They worked great for me. Push through is the only way to go for me now.

These ethernet ends helped me turn my life around and get sober. I fell in love with one, but someone cleaned up and now I don’t know which one it is. They are cheaper when bought this way and have a case that closes keeping them from running away and eloping with a wire nut.

They work great, easy to use, buy the pass-through crimper. I use the regular one and have to cut the cables at the end with a knife.

I bought this name brand after hearing some of the cheapest ones had tolerance issues fitting into ports. These have made CAT 6 UTP wiring very easy, paired with a through-plug style ethernet crimper that cuts off the excess. I’m doing 23awg solid copper with no issues! I can’t say if 6a/7/8 will fit, with their larger shielding. It’s worth it getting these rather than fumbling with the old kind.

I’m a little dismayed that I haven’t used these before now, as I’ve made countless patch cables over the years. One of the most annoying aspects of putting RJ-45 ends on cabling is gauging the length to cut the excess wire. Too short, and you risk the contacts not piercing the wires and have to cut and try again, with a new connector. Too long, and the insulation doesn’t seat in the RJ-45, risking the connector pulling free or the wires getting damaged from strain. These beauties fix that issue. Once you arrange the pairs, just slip the connector on until the insulation is firmly in the connector, snip off the excess, and crimp it on. I back out the wires just a hair so they aren’t exposed, as I’ve had one not seat firmly into a port. Far cleaner and easier than the old style without the pass thru.I’m fairly certain they have sped up my cable termination time, not to mention saving my fingers the (too frequent to admit) task of do-overs when I misjudge the length.

These connectors are a necessity for a novice. The pass-through feature allows me to make a perfect cable on the first try. They save me time, money, and frustration.

Easy to use. Worked great for me at a reasonable price.
