In conjunction with the release of Spider-Man No Way Home – and continuing Fortnite’s now long-running collaboration with the MCU – Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 is heavily themed around the Spider-verse and its characters. Next up to join the likes of Spidey himself and MJ is classic Spider-Man villain Green Goblin. So when is Green Goblin going to be available in Fortnite? And how much will it cost? Here’s what we know so far.
Fortnite Green Goblin Spider-Man skin and items
According to Fortnite leaker GMatrixGames, the bundle includes the skin itself, a Glider, a Back Bling and a Pickaxe featuring Norman Osborn’s favourite weapon, the Pumpkin Bomb. The Bundle will also include an Emote and a Loading Screen showing Green Goblin in battle with Spider-Man. In a Tweet on January 18th, GMatrixGames also revealed the potential names for the individual items:
- Pumpkin Bomb
- Arm The Pumpkin
- Goblin Glider
- Pumpkin P’Axe
- Attack of the Goblin
How these items will be available individually remains to be seen, but it is likely the Green Goblin Outfit and Pumpkin Bomb Back Bling will be available together, while the Glider and Pickaxe will probably be available as individual items. The Emote and the Loading Screen, meanwhile, will most likely be exclusive to the Bundle.
How much does the Green Goblin Fortnite skin cost?
Until the Green Goblin skin is available in the Fortnite shop, we can only speculate how much the items and bundle will cost. However, looking at the prices of skins and other cosmetics historically, we can hazard a guess that the Green Goblin skin will cost around 1,500 V-bucks with the included Back Bling. Collaboration Back Blings usually cost roughly 500 V-Bucks, with Gliders often coming in at 800. Assuming these prices are about right, the Bundle is likely to cost between 1,800 – 2,000 V-Bucks for all six items.
When is the Green Goblin Fortnite skin available?
At the moment, the Green Goblin skin is not available in the Fortnite in-game shop, and we don’t have a date for its release. However, the Fortnite Hawkeye bundle was leaked at around the same time as Green Goblin, and was released to the in-game shop on January 21st, 2022. We can expect the Green Goblin will take the place of the Hawkeye items within a few days.
How long will Green Goblin be available in Fortnite?
We don’t currently know how long the Green Goblin skin will be in the Fortnite in-game shop for, but if you’re thinking of buying the latest Marvel item, don’t wait around. While some crossover skins remain in the shop for a few days, there are multiple Fortnite crossover skins on the horizon, so grab the Green Goblin before he’s replaced by LOL Arcane’s Vi and Jinx.
