Bedding Industries of America (BIA) is highlighting its luxury Ernest Hemingway, Eastman House Lifetime, Millbrook, Velika and Natural Dreams collections at the Winter Las Vegas Market. The introductions align with the national trend of growing consumer interest in higher-end, full-featured mattresses.

The company will be displaying five new models to its Ernest Hemingway series. Two new mattresses join the Inspired collection and three new models in the Adventure line. The new beds feature a layering of 100-percent natural latex foams on top of the company’s new proprietary-lumbar zoned, 4-inch pocketed coil-on-coil designs with 100-percent cotton imported Belgium damasks quilted to GOTS certified organic New Zealand wool.

All the beds are coil-on-coil except the starter Adventure model, which has a single, 8-inch zoned pocketed coil unit designed to hit a $999 in queen retail price point.

For the Eastman House Lifetime collection, the new premium models are manufactured with a combination of ultra-strong components including 12.5-gauge springs, which are the strongest, most durable springs in the mattress industry and ultra-premium 1.8-pound density foams and above.

Each model will be made with Eastman House’s patented Lumbar Zone ®Support System in the center of the spring unit with a 9-guage steel support wire. By reinforcing the mattress in this way, Spinal – Lumbar Zone ® Technology delivers enhanced back support and correct spinal alignment – thus significantly reducing back pain and stiffness and improving overall sleep quality.

Bedding Industries of America will also be updating both its Velika and Natural Dreams lines for the upcoming Market. The Velika line will now feature a new Velika Hybrid and Duvet Comfort Top that provides a combination of ultra-comfort and support. Two new Greenguard Gold® certified models are in the process of being certified and added to the Natural Dreams line. The new beds are manufactured with 100% pure Talalay latex and are hand-crafted in the U.S. using techniques that meet the company’s most stringent quality standards.

The company is also adding to its Millbrook collection with three new U.S. manufactured mattresses. The Hampshire III models include a triple coil-on-coil system totaling 4,490 springs, Hampshire Wool, layers of Talalay latex and the collection’s distinctive black tufting. Millbrook mattresses are available with a 9-inch box-spring unit with 4-inch, zoned pocketed-coils which are foam encased atop a 5-inch foundation.

When you add these coils to those in the mattress, the sleep system totals 5,100 coils. It is available as a standard unit or with wooden legs.

“We have received tremendous retailer and consumer feedback from our luxury lines, and we see this segment of the industry only growing into the future. People understand the value of spending more for a mattress that will provide a superior and heathier night’s sleep,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of Bedding Industries of America. “By expanding our luxury lines, we are giving our dealers more options to carry a broader assortment of our premium brands. Our multiple brand concept provides retailers the convenience of placing one order containing multiple brands and arriving on one truck within five to seven days.”

Bedding Industries of America’s Las Vegas showroom is in B-1118 of building B at the World Market Center.
