This is my very first security camera system so please keep that in mind. I ordered this system a few days ago and it arrived today by UPS so points on the quick shipping. I did not install this system fully yet but did hook up all cameras, went through all the setup and played around with it. I honestly didn’t think this was going to be some high dollar state of the art package for $200 but I admit I’m still in a little shock at how well this thing is built, easy to use and how good the cameras work. I didn’t even see if there were detailed instructions in the box but I do remember seeing a little booklet. This system is so easy to setup that you really shouldn’t need a booklet. It has many features with a 1tb hard drive, wifi connection (need to purchase additional wifi adapter/dongle or whatever its called on Amazon for about $8-$9) You can also connect to the internet by cable. This system has motion detection alerting and can be accessed by an app on your Android, IPhone, Tablet, PC ect.. So you can be away from home and be alerted to motion and then view live camera from your phone. It also has a feature that will email if you prefer that all with video, live, snapshot depending on your options when setting it all up. I’m actually getting more excited just talking about it and can’t wait to get this thing up and running. Adding 2 photos of the night view just testing it and as you can see there’s a pretty good distance that can be seen. It reaches clearly down the block and really clear around the yard (sorry about messy neighbor). If you’re new to this or want a good cheaper system I highly recommend in considering this system right here. 8 dome cameras in metal housing with plastic mounting plates, very good video resolution both day and night, 1tb hd, features and best of all its all yours for $200. I’m worrying less now I know I have a good system to help keep me and my family protected. Will update if I find any problems later on.

I bought this product to add a level of security to my home. The product arrived in two boxes one with the DVR and 8 cameras the other with the other 8 cameras. They arrived days apart but Zosi indicated that this was going to be the case. No biggie.Got my packages opened. Zosi cameras are solid they included wall plugs and screws for each camera along with camera templates. This is in addition to the long cables for video and power to the cameras from the DVR. If you are gonna go with this system ensure you have lots of space for points since there will be a total of 5 adapters to bower the DVR and the cameras. And we all know how much space those take up on a strip. Each adapter that powers the cameras has a splitter that allows for the powering of 4 cameras. The manuals were clear and concise. I did a setup and everything worked well all 16 cameras and the DVR. Picture was clean and nice. Night vision is black and white or shades of but I guess that is what night vision is. Once light is available in the area The picture is in colour. The setup for the phone app (android in my case) was a breeze. I dismantled everything put it away.On the weekend of the planned install the problem came when I didn’t remember my admin password for the system every attempt greeted me with and error message. I finally gave up a little after midnight and figured time to contact support and wait until the Monday for a reply. This was on a Saturday night into Sunday morning. Zozi indicated that I could have called whatsapped or emailed. I chose to send a WhatsApp with the pic of my model label and The DVRs QR code. I sent that explaining that I has successfully forgotten my admin password.I woke up on Sunday morning with a reply from Louis with a solution to access the DVR well first thing I did was check the time he responded, it was 4:48 in the morning. Without fail I was back in the DVR changing my admin password one I won’t be forgetting this time. So kudos to Louis and Zosi for making me an extremely happy customer. I have recommended Zosi systems to two other friends that bought previously before buying mine and all is well so far.All in all a great product with great customer service.

I select Zosi to replace a 5 years old legacy home security system with low image quality and constantly false alarm . After finishing installing and used it for 2 week, I have to say Zosi has not disappointed me at all.At the beginning, I did experienced some connectivity problems due to the wiring method of the legacy system. Luckily, Zosi’s customers support was very helpful with prompt responses. After the initial problem was solved, the rest of the hardware installation was just plug-and-go pretty straightforward.Zosi’ mobile device control functions are a bit limited. Most of the setup works need to be done in the NVR box. The user interface was OK but could be more user friendly. The entire software setup and camera testing work was a bit longer than expected. However, Once it is done, the system’s performance was very impressive! – crystal clear image with no more false alarm. Highly recommend!!!During the entire installation process, there are a few things I don’t like and would like to point out :1. Humanoid tracking was not installed in the NVR system nor in the cameras. Customers need to do the upgrade on sit. This is quite surprising for customers buying a brand new product.2. Systems upgrade can be done relatively easily but the camera upgrades was a bit more complicated.3. The response time of the tracking system could be faster.4. The cover material for C296 camera is plastic. Don’t know how long it can last outdoor.

I have used this camera only in analog mode, and only over a short time. It seems to give excellent video results in that mode. The 36 IR LEDs give adequate night illumination for the useful viewing area of the wide-angle lens, while not “washing-out” nearby objects. I normally don’t use cameras having this wide a viewing area, but the usual negative aspects of wide-angle lenses are not much of a problem in the case of this camera. (Not sure if this camera has some sort of electronic or optical compensation for the wide-angle effects, but in any case, it seems to avoid or reduce those effects compared to other wide-angle cameras that I’ve used). The physical disadvantages (for me) include:- The black and white colors of the camera’s housing seem to make it relatively conspicuous as compared to single-color housings. (I suppose this could be a good thing from the perspective of deterrence, but not if the objective is to be unobtrusive).- The “visor” – which is too small to be very functional anyway – is non-adjustable (because it is simply a sculpted part of the housing). This is a problem if an actual adjustable visor is needed to protect the lens from dirt, rain, snow, etc. and/or to shield the lens from a spurious light source.- The camera housing is slightly more compact than “average”, but not nearly as compact as some cameras.- The front housing appears to be relatively difficult to remove – and probably would require the camera to be dismounted to open the housing – which would be a problem if any fine focus adjustments are needed “on the fly”.- The mounting/aiming “mechanism” is the fairly typical “2-locking screws plus one locking ring” arrangement, which “sort of” gives three axes of adjustability but is fairly difficult to adjust and lock-in – especially when working from a ladder. While it is a better arrangement than some mounts, it is much more difficult to adjust than the tool-less “single ball with locking ring” universal arrangement that has appeared on a few camera housings.Bottom line: This is a functionally very good camera hampered by a mediocre housing design.

As our cameras age and stop working well, these became an excellent alternative. The older cameras were not as sharp or as high a resolution, yet these fit and work well with our recorder. Really extends the life of our security camera system. They are a direct replacement using standard BNC connector for the video and a standard 12V barrel connector for power. The ability to select one of 4 modes makes them perfect for so many different kinds of recorders. We have had no issues and the quality video is outstanding.

I used this camera system to protect my business. The system is easy to install and provides great coverage of the property inside and out. The system has already paid for itself as I had a customer damage my property, caught it on camera and was able to identify the individual, vehicle and license plate.

I needed to add a couple of cameras to my home security system. These plugged in and worked awesome. Highly recommend if expanding your system.

Great product and came as a advertised, and no problems with anything so far.
Goods and Services Needed –
It has standard POE, so off the shelf POE range extender and switch can be used if needed. No guessing and proprietary things to navigate. It performs great.
Amazon Customer –
Previous camera had a burnt out led after only 2 years. Hoping this one lasts longer.
