I’ve tried tons of different DP to HDMI adapters and cables. So many lie and say things like 4k, but it’s input resolution, and output resolution is 1080p. Or it really is 4k, but only at 30hz. Or they just plain don’t work at all. This one works, and can do 4k at 60fps, perfect for computer monitors!

My graphics cards has a dvi a hdmi and this one then i learned i could use this cord after all to add a third monitor! Not sure why it didnt just have 2 regular hdmi outputs though. Make sure u get the right one though. Theres a 30htz and a 60. The 30 wont put out as good if using for gaming.

My computer doesn’t support the new HDMI 2.1 standard that can transmit 4k@60hz. It only has HDMI 1.4. However, the display port (DP 1.2) can do this. The manufacturer said they don’t officially support adapters but this allowed me to turn on 4k@60hz with my computer hooked up to my new TV. Before I could only get like 24Hz

This cable does 2 things for me. First I’m able to use my 4k DELL display (hdmi) from the display port connection on my HP laptop, this works perfectly. The second thing that successfully works is connecting from my RTX 4090 display port connection to my Samsung ARK2 display via HDMI 2.1. This also works and is the reason I’m buying a second cable.

Needed this to connect my new 4K Samsung monitor to my Dell Micro PC and it works as described. Only this cable and plug combination would give 4K @ 60Hz and it does what it promised. Thanks !
