A Tool to Help You Improve Your Game
Is your 6-iron really your 150-yard club? How far do you consistently hit your drives? Is it a pitching wedge shot? Or more like a 9-iron? It’s easy to know for sure with Approach CT10 golf club trackers that automatically track every shot on any club — even your putts.
The sensors attach to the end of a club’s grip. You won’t even know the sensors are there while you play. But after a couple of rounds, you’ll be glad they are. An on/off feature helps provide battery life of up to 4 yrs.
- Installed sensor automatically tracks every shot on any Club and keeps Score
- Pairs with compatible Garmin golf watches to automatically track every stroke, including locations, distances and Club Type
- Collects data from each shot and Club so you can analyze strokes gained and other stats used by the pga
- Stats for each Club with a sensor installed Show up on your compatible Garmin golf watch after pulling the Club from the bag
- See how far you typically hit each Club; view stats for accuracy to the fairway or Green
Pair with Your Garmin Golf Watch
Pair with compatible Garmin golf watches for automatic game tracking so you can focus on your game — knowing the sensor is tracking every stat. Those stats for each club with a sensor installed show up on your Garmin golf watch after pulling the club from the bag. See how far you typically hit that club, and view stats for accuracy to the fairway or green.
Approach CT10 club trackers are available in a full set to track all 14 clubs in your bag. This set lets you know how far you consistently hit each club and also which club you hit for every shot during every round from tee to green, including your putts. If you only want to go with the three-sensor starter pack, add sensors to your wedges and putter to track chip shots next to the green and your putts, and rely on your compatible watch’s AutoShot¹ feature to track your other shots.
Track More Stats with the Garmin Golf App
Add the Garmin Golf app to your compatible smartphone to gather key stats and data you can use to help you work to improve your game. Review your stats in the Garmin Golf app for accuracy to the fairway or green and for drives, approach shots, chip shots and putting to help you know what parts of your game need more focus. You can also track and analyze strokes gained and other stats used by the PGA. Use strokes gained data and stats to show how many strokes you have gained or lost relative to a baseline comparison to other players in your group.
Change as Your Game Changes
Suddenly, you’re hitting some clubs farther. And maybe other clubs seem to be falling short. Your game changes from season to season and with the years. With Approach CT10 sensors on your clubs, you can identify those changing trends and adapt your game to help avoid hitting too long or leaving shots short.

These trackers work great and are a great tool while using the garmin golf app. I don’t like how expensive they are and make sure they are secured well to the handle of the club because one of mine fell out and I lost it.

I have used the CT10 sensors paired with my Garmin S62 watch, and love the fact that I can keep close tabs on my progress as far as distance, off center hits, how many fairways hit, etc. There are some issues with them always accurately recording data…like I highly doubt that I really hit my “longest drive” at 565 yards…but for the most part they really do a good job of recording data. I gave the “Value for money” a 3/5 as it is much cheaper to buy the full set of 14 ($17.65 per club sensor) than it is to buy a starter set of 3 ($24.65 per club sensor) when I added one club to my bag this year. Plus that, they are almost never on sale. Come on Garmin…give us a break at least once in a while with the club sensors. Overall they do the job they are designed to do, but I do wish that Garmin would work at improving their sensitivity and give us accurate data 100% of the time. I’m glad I bought they and my S62 watch…they make a great combination.

Started with a set of three and over time bought 14. The price is very high and it requires a Garmin Approach gps/watch so you have a lot of money tied up to collect golf data. For the first year all went well until the batteries died which is not a problem. However. Garmin did not provide a tool to remove the battery cap so with great effort I got them changed. Although they say the tool can be purchase I have never found one for sale. I have now lost two battery caps so those sensors are worthless. Garmin did not take into account that someone might lose a battery cap so they are not for sale either. Try to buy one or two Ct10 sensors. We own mulitple Garmin devices which work great until they don’t. Then plan to through them out and buy new. BTW, my Approach S20 watch/GPS was killed yesterday by ESD. Who makes electronic devices without ESD protection? Today, I have 12 sensors on 14 clubs but no GPS/watch to collect the data. Back to using a range finder and manually collecting shot dataRevised Review Feb 3, 2022 – Changed the rating to 5 star because I said it was a great product but the “almost” was added for lack of the proper tool and repair part when the battery cap gt lost. After a more thorough search I found the tool on the Garmin website and ordered it. Then got in a chat with them on the availabiity of replacement caps. The Garmin CS person issued an order to replace both sensors and added a tool for no cost. They were very responsive and earned a better rating. Don’t try to change batterries without the tool, I used a large pliers and it obviously was not adequate

Keeps record of score, distance, shots but don’t buy starter pack. Just buy the whole package you will want to
GregK –
I bought 6 of these a few months ago and they have considerably provided feedback that I was looking for so much so, I added 3 more to my bag

martin richardson –
Put one on my putter, my sand wedge and my lob wedge, and it worked out great
ScottP –
One of the greatest things I’ve bought can’t say enough good things as long as you have the app, watch or both great.
Ralph –
The data obtained help me recognize the best club for every shot. Easy to see the data and realize how effective each club. As well as seeing trends BY HOLE for courses played often.. Dropped 5 shots on average.
