A Tool to Help You Improve Your Game
Is your 6-iron really your 150-yard club? How far do you consistently hit your drives? Is it a pitching wedge shot? Or more like a 9-iron? It’s easy to know for sure with Approach CT10 golf club trackers that automatically track every shot on any club — even your putts.
The sensors attach to the end of a club’s grip. You won’t even know the sensors are there while you play. But after a couple of rounds, you’ll be glad they are. An on/off feature helps provide battery life of up to 4 yrs.
- Installed sensor automatically tracks every shot on any Club and keeps Score
- Pairs with compatible Garmin golf watches to automatically track every stroke, including locations, distances and Club Type
- Collects data from each shot and Club so you can analyze strokes gained and other stats used by the pga
- Stats for each Club with a sensor installed Show up on your compatible Garmin golf watch after pulling the Club from the bag
- See how far you typically hit each Club; view stats for accuracy to the fairway or Green
Pair with Your Garmin Golf Watch
Pair with compatible Garmin golf watches for automatic game tracking so you can focus on your game — knowing the sensor is tracking every stat. Those stats for each club with a sensor installed show up on your Garmin golf watch after pulling the club from the bag. See how far you typically hit that club, and view stats for accuracy to the fairway or green.
Approach CT10 club trackers are available in a full set to track all 14 clubs in your bag. This set lets you know how far you consistently hit each club and also which club you hit for every shot during every round from tee to green, including your putts. If you only want to go with the three-sensor starter pack, add sensors to your wedges and putter to track chip shots next to the green and your putts, and rely on your compatible watch’s AutoShot¹ feature to track your other shots.
Track More Stats with the Garmin Golf App
Add the Garmin Golf app to your compatible smartphone to gather key stats and data you can use to help you work to improve your game. Review your stats in the Garmin Golf app for accuracy to the fairway or green and for drives, approach shots, chip shots and putting to help you know what parts of your game need more focus. You can also track and analyze strokes gained and other stats used by the PGA. Use strokes gained data and stats to show how many strokes you have gained or lost relative to a baseline comparison to other players in your group.
Change as Your Game Changes
Suddenly, you’re hitting some clubs farther. And maybe other clubs seem to be falling short. Your game changes from season to season and with the years. With Approach CT10 sensors on your clubs, you can identify those changing trends and adapt your game to help avoid hitting too long or leaving shots short.

This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It attaches easily and firmly to each of your clubs, knows which club you’re using, and records your stats for each club stroke. It then shows lots of data based on your hits on the Garmin app which gives you great feedback on your game. The Garmin app even lets you make any edits you need to the data.Caveats : It only knows which club you have based on the club being “upright” AND in the sunlight (i.e. out of your golf bag), so you have to be careful not to pull out multiple clubs. It’s very accurate but can sometimes miss putts that go a short distance, usually those short putts right by the hole. Probably a GPS limitation. This is easily corrected on your watch at the end of the hole, but just something to look out for. When first pairing these it can seem like they aren’t being detected, but you have to remember they only come out of “sleep mode” (to save battery) when exposed to light, so be sure to hold them up to a bright light (or go outside) when you first pair them to your phone. After that they are rock solid being detected by your watch as soon as your pull them out of your golf bag.A full (14) set of these + a Garmin watch is pricey ($400 at least for this + an S12) but worth every penny to help you see how your game is. Especially if you’re a stats junkie 🙂

The C T 10′ s keep very accurate stats on my S 63 watch. I am very pleased with the product…. My question is can the batteries be replaced or do I have to purchase them all over again???? I do not see any warranty for the battery life… They say 4 years…. Is there a guarantee for any part of the 4 years??

The Garmin CT10 club sensors work well. When I first started to pair them I was having problems. The key for me was to get my S62 within 1-2 inches of the sensor at the same height. Once I did this they paired no problem. As others have commented use with a putter is hit and miss. After five rounds I decided to remove mine and track putts manually. I purchased a three year extended warranty plan just in case they start to malfunction. When I pull out a club my watch tells me which one and provides the average yardage. You can also see a icon on the hole view. The data integrate nicely with the Golf app where you can see what club was used and the distance for each shot. At $300.00 these are pricey, but I got a 20% discount through my employer.

These were a great addition to my golf bag. The sensors are very accurate and even if you take multiple clubs to where your taking your shot, it will pick up on which one you end up using. However, if you have a superstroke putter grip, you will need to grind down the needle on the sensor and stick it to the top, in that the superstroke has a magnet in the top that won’t fit the needle for the sensor. definitely worth the money

I got to play February golf in upstate NY and used them for the first time. They register all the data I could want and I can’t wait to use them more so the averages start to make sense. The only thing I didn’t care for is when you want to hit a bump and run it registers as a strike with the club and it appears that it gets added to your averages and may skew your yardages up in its calculations. Time will tell.

First off, these aren’t 100% and if you want precise data you may need to add in a missed club here or there, putts in particular more or less don’t get registered but let’s be honest, you’re not trying to track your putting stats and GPS isn’t precise enough to give you good data on that anyways. For the most part though, these work very reliably and painlessly if you follow the instructions – put clubs away after use, don’t have multiple out at the same time, don’t move around a bunch after taking club out unless club is in upside down position, etc. Also, keep in mind GPS is only so accurate so if +-5 yards makes or breaks it for you, this probably won’t satisfy you (then again, nothing else will)Originally was going to leave a 4 star review as my set of 10 had 5 experience dead batteries within a month and 6 games, properly stored. And one of the sensors had a battery I couldn’t get out. But, 5 minutes in a support chat with Garmin resulted in them sending a replacement sensor and like 10 batteries with free 2 day shipping, and dead batteries may not be their fault as who knows how long they were sitting in an Amazon warehouse. So back up to 5 stars as I have a high level of confidence that any issues I may experience in the future will be fixed.

These are amazing! Mine work with ZERO issues. I take the club out, my watch tells me the club name and average distance. Afte reach hole i just confirm the score and move on. No issues with the technology. I lost one sensor and ordered more, the threads arent that deep so one fell out of my golf pride tour velvet standard size grip on my 56. So make sure they are screwed in tight, and check after each swing because your wrist may loosen them. The app is great too. Highly recommended with the S70 watch!

Installed these on my clubs and enjoy knowing the distance each of them average. Has helped my game considerably with gaining knowledge
