Short version: I love them and have no big issues other than the battery life, but even that is stated on the product listing.Long version: I have a LONG history when it come to noise sleeping aids. It started when I slept over at my significant other’s (SO) apartment. Like most people on Earth, he snores, but unfortunately for me, he snores pretty loud. In addition to that, I am a VERY sensitive sleeper. I’m talking the type of sleeper that as a kid I would go home in the middle of the night because there was a clock in the room or I could hear a parent of the house snoring. This lead to me having to sleep with a loud fan into my adult years. I also have pretty small ears, which will be relevant later.*Backstory* scroll down to bottom for review on the Sleep BudsI tried EVERYTHING. I wore earplugs for an extended period of time (which led to pain that felt like bruises in my ears).I then bought the over the ear headband headphones I found on Amazon (kinda worked but wasn’t loud enough, slid around all the time, and weren’t that comfortable. Overall made for a not very solid sleep and I went looking for another option.)From there we tried the option of getting my SO a mouth guard, to try to fix the snoring itself and not conceal it (he said it was the most painful sleep he had in a while and we ditched that option; if my pain is valid with the earplugs and headband, so is his). Then it was time to look into more experimental things. At the time there were basically NO sleepbuds on the market. It was the weird time where the Bose sleepbuds version 1 were already discontinued due to their battery, as well as other issues. So I hopped on the train for the Amazfit Zenbuds kickstarter. I paid like $80 then waited 6 months or so till Amazfit sent out their Zenbuds. They were honestly great….. until they weren’t. They fit my small ears, allowed for side sleeping, and blocked out about 90% of the noise. For a while they lasted the whole night and I had no issues, but then the Zenbuds stopped staying connected/playing sound. I contacted support, they sent me a new pair. Then the battery stopped lasting all night. Okay, no worries, I’ll just buy a second pair off amazon to last throughout the night. Then one of those stop keeping battery. Contact support, they send me a new pair. I will say that the Amazfit customer service was pretty great. When I explained that even though I was having issues I really needed to keep both pairs of earbuds in order to attempt to get through the night, they just sent me the new pair and then gave me a free packing label to send back the defective pair. But this happened sooo many times. I probably went through a total of 6-7 Amazfit Zenbuds.During this time the Bose Sleepbuds version 2 came out and I gave those a try. Great battery, buut they were way to uncomfortable for me. I thought I just needed an adjustment period so I kept wearing them (around 2 weeks). I stopped when my inner ears started bleeding. My SO now uses them every night to help drown out our loud cats (he loves them). But they are now also discontinued.I contact the Amazfit team AGAIN because now one of my zenbuds will not charge in the case. They inform me that the Zenbuds are now discontinued and I can send in my defective ones for their Powerbeats Pro. I do that, buuut what now?*Product Review*I’m desperate because I’ve tried everything and it seems all attempts at creating good quality sleep earbuds has ended with discontinued products. I go to amazon and find these. Here are the pros and cons I have experienced:Pros:- great sound- Bluetooth compatible (I listen to ASMR before bed so this is great!)- great noise library (although I’ll admit I just use the snoring cancelation noise they have, which is so great in itself, works awesome)- So comfy (I had to figure out what worked best for me but once I did they are so comfortable and haven’t fallen out while I’m sleeping at all, and I turn a LOT while I sleep. I ended up having two different tips for the earbuds, one with the small and one is the one without the wing)- Its on Amazon so super easy returns if they don’t work for you!Con(s):- only a 6 hour battery life, BUT they do say that on the listing. I hate it when the listing will say more time than the actual product gives, so the transparency is great.Overall I will 100% buy another pair of these when my final pair of Amazfit Zenbuds stops working and I need another set of sleep earbuds to last me throughout the night. The price is high, but seems to be in line with similar products I’ve purchased in the past. And to be honest, cost means nothing when it comes to getting a good night of sleep, am I right?

I’ve only had these Anker Sleep A10 Bluetooth sleep earbuds for less than a week, so I can’t comment yet on long-term reliability, but so far, I am thrilled! My wife and I sleep with multiple fans running, both to keep us cool and to provide white noise. So, I did not need sleep earbuds to block out noise. What I wanted them for was to provide soothing music while trying to fall asleep. I have tried normal earbuds, but they are wired (strike one) and uncomfortable if I lay on my side (strike two). I have also tried a sleep headband, but I don’t like the feel of the headband while trying to sleep and it was hard to keep the speakers over my ears. Also, it was wired too, which is not going to work with the amount of tossing and turning I do.As I researched possible wireless earbuds that would be comfortable for a side sleeper, I discovered that the Bose Sleepbuds II had been popular but were discontinued. I wouldn’t have wanted them anyway since, as I said, my main reason for wanting sleep earbuds was to listen to music, and the Bose Sleepbuds could only play downloaded white noise type sounds. After reading the reviews of these Anker A10 Bluetooth Sleep Earbuds, I was concerned about the reviews that said they did not maintain connection reliably. I was also bummed that the manufacturer themselves said that they are not really meant for reliable Bluetooth connection while outside, since I was hoping to have these earbuds be my one set of wireless earbuds, both for sleep and for walking. For the same reason, I was somewhat concerned about the reviews that indicated the sound quality was not great. But given the few options out there, I decided to order anyway. They were delivered the same day!I was immediately impressed with the heavy packaging and the (almost overwhelming) number of optional ear tips and wings. I was also impressed with the attractive look and quality build of the charger.I was initially confused by the amount of information, prominently displayed in the case, on how to fit the earbud in my ear. I figured earbuds are earbuds and you just push them in until they are comfortable. But I took the time to read the info and started to understand that it is CRITICAL to fit the earbud correctly. Of course, you want to fit it for comfort, especially while sleeping. And, of course, you want them to sound as good as possible. But I quickly understood that these small earbuds, needing to fit flat into your ears to be comfortable while sleeping, could easily have their Bluetooth connectivity compromised by having your ear come in contact with the important antenna areas on them. Also, I had never had earbuds with wings before and had to read the instructions on how to properly insert them and then rotate them to “lock” them in place.I’m so glad I took the time to understand that. I was lucky that the default tip and wing fit fine in my ears and lock in place well. I may experiment with others someday, to see if they can be even more comfortable, but they are plenty good by default. And, looking at how they fit in my ears, I could see that it looked like the proper fit shown in the instructions and this has led to me having no problem at all with the Bluetooth connectivity! Not only have they stayed connected while sleeping (and tossing and turning), but I have been able to use them outside while walking the dog. They ARE sensitive to being blocked, but the only time I’ve been able to notice this is when covering an ear with a hand (when I was testing how well they blocked outside noise) and when putting my arm across my ear (in one of my weirder sleep poses). For sound quality, I have no complaints. I have never had high-end earbuds, so I’m not the pickiest. They sound fine to me in the music I’ve listened to, with good bass and treble response. The battery life is not an issue for me at all for me. I have them in the mode where they change to “sleep mode” (playing the downloaded white noise) when they detect I am asleep. I have the music playing while I try to fall asleep and although it can take me an hour or more to fall asleep, the battery last fine for that and fine for switching to white noise after I fall asleep. I haven’t kept them in all night yet, so I don’t know if the white noise in “sleep mode” could last the rest of the night, but it doesn’t matter to me. One reason I may get good battery life is that I do not have the Soundcore app running AT ALL when I’m sleeping. I don’t need the sleep monitor function because I already know that I’m not a good sleeper! LOL.For comfort, while side sleeping, I find them pretty good but not perfect. I have never liked even regular foam earplugs in my ears though, and I find these at least as comfortable as those. I get used to them pretty quickly each night and I haven’t tried yet experimenting with other tips and wings, since it has not been a big issue. My needs are not the same as everyone else, but I am thrilled with these wireless sleep earbuds so far. Not only do they give me the music I want while trying to fall asleep, with the added bonus of extra white nosie after I’ve fallen asleep, but I’ve also been able to use them to listen to audio books while walking the dog. 5 stars from me, for sure. At least so far.

UPDATE: Okay they can last through the night if you do this: When you’re ready to sleep, (1) open the app and put it in Sleep mode (so it plays the audio locally rather than streaming). (2) Do not turn off Bluetooth. (3) DO close the app. Then they’ll play a solid 9-10 hours. The fact that this works means it’s a software issue that they could fix through firmware and/or app updates. They should fix it because everyone on the internet complains about the short battery life. I guess I’ll give 5 stars now. They’re not super comfortable, but they’re the best available. There are very few options for earbuds you can wear while sleeping. These are comfortable enough, although I had to buy a softer pillow and they’re still not exactly comfortable. The problem is their battery life. They last 6-7 hours tops, even if you only use “sleep mode” (locally stored sound) and disable “smart volume.” This is too bad because I think people who buy these are looking for a very simple product: comfortable enough to give white noise throughout the night. Maybe Soundcore could add a “battery saver” option through a firmware update that disables absolutely everything but locally played sound?I’m keeping these because my tinnitus has gotten too bad for earplugs. I use the pink noise setting and it lets me fall asleep. I’m still figuring out how to work around the short battery life for when I wake up in the middle of the night. I set it to play for two hours and just remember to double-tap the earbuds to restart if I wake up in the middle of the night.

I’ve used these for over a year.I listen to audible books as I fall asleep. The soundcore earbuds automatically switch to noise masking when I fall asleep.I have no idea how this works, but I can put my book on as I commute to work in the morning. The book will be in the exact spot I last remembered it. I’ve never had to back up or go forward.Occasionally it has switched to noise masking while I’m still awake. It’s an easy fix to switch back to my book, but this happens very rarely. Occasionally I’ll wake up in the middle of the night, hearing the lovely ocean sounds. If I’m unable to fall back asleep, I just put my book (or some music) back on. Once again, the earbuds will switch back to noise masking when I’m back to sleep.I can say it took a while to get used to wearing the earbuds all night. In the beginning, I would remove them in the middle of the night. I’m so used to them now that I have occasionally wondered why my husbands voice is so muffled! Oops, remove the earbuds and his voice is clear.I think the only con is battery life. It lasts a good 7 hours for me, but I’d take an hour or two more. You do need to be sure you’ve launched the app and put it in “music mode” if you are using it the way I do. Be aware that if you are very still, it may switch to sleep mode before you are fully asleep.I am a side sleeper.

These are by far the most comfortable I’ve tried. Way more comfy than airpods pro. These come with several sleeves and with a little experimenting, I was able to achieve a cozy fit that allows me to fall asleep on my side & not be bothered by the device. And they sound incredible. I was blown away at how good the music sounds, although I only use them now as ‘sleep buds’ & listening to spoken word or the built in nature sounds / noise sounds. The app comes with several sleepy soundbits / noises – you pick one, then ‘apply’ and the app installs it. Then, switching between ‘sleep mode’ (where they play your selected pre-loaded sleep noise), or your music or podcast etc is as easy as a double tap on the device. This is great because you can switch modes without having to touch your phone / app. Very clever design. They do not ‘cancel’ ambient noise so if your partner snores loudly, you either turn these up – or try another brand that does active noise cancelling. Highly recommend these buds for side sleepers.

I can relate to most of the reviews about the Bose sleeping buds, the my cost was approx. $250.00, they worked well, the app didn’t drain the phone battery BUT they did stop working between 1.5-2 years. I can’t really say they were a waste of money cause as we all know….we can’t put a price on a good night’s rest. These buds, soundcore, seem to be working just as well at masking the noise and sounds that usually wake me up and, for now, they hold their charge and both ear buds allow me to sleep for 6-8 hours. I leave them charging most of the day, I figure, I used them for 6-7 hours at night so they must charge for that long. I will come back and update my review to confirm similar issues being reported.

I’ve got a second set of bose sleepbud 2’s, and the right earbud just refuses to connect anymore. Those things have been so solid and comfortable I was dreading having to try another product. Honestly at this price point, it made sense to give these Soundcore A10’s a try. Pleasantly surprised. Comfort level is very good. Sounds options are good. Battery seems to last 7-8hrs or so but i’ll be watching that closely….Surprise! The rubber ear cup portions from the sleepbuds fit almost perfectly on these. It won’t charge with them in place, but they fit and therefore fit comfortably in ear. I haven’t messed around with the other tips included in the box, but it’s nice to see them included. As far as fit/finish, the case is much lighter than the bose case. Is there not much of a battery in this case?Anyway, a few nights under my belt with these and I’m happy I chose this path.

I am very pleased with the soundcore a10 headphones! I like to listen to ASMR stuff as I go to sleep, so having something with clear directional audio is an absolute must for me. At the time of writing I’ve had them a little over 2 weeks and I’ve been using them each night. I would like to share my major positives about these headphones compared to my previous sleep headsets and cover a few criticisms. The main reasons I enjoy this headset over other sleep headphones I’ve tried are the comfort and the sound quality. I tried using normal in ear headphones but I found it started to hurt my ear if I use them for an all-night session. I switched over to using the headband style sleep headphones after that and had been using them for the last 2 years. Those solved the pain problem, but the audio quality was poor and too quiet along with having to deal with a sweaty headband in the morning. The a10 headphones are comfortable enough that I leave them in all night and will go about the first chunk of my morning with them still in. The sound is significantly clearer than what I was using before and I can get higher volumes for those really quiet videos. I no longer have to choose between getting clear audio or having a comfortable experience thanks to these headphones. Before I purchased the headphones I saw two main complaints from other Amazon reviews. First was poor battery life and second was poor Bluetooth range. I do wish the battery life were better, but The Bluetooth range is just fine in my use. The playtime on these headphones is about 5 hours with how I use them. In comparison the headband headset I’m comparing against would hold up for a full eight or nine hours of playtime. This means I can’t just set content to play and expect it to run all night, I have to set shorter one or two hour playlists now if I want to still be able to listen to something after waking up midway through the night. I have never experienced any problems with the range of the headset, but I’ve also been no more than 30 ft away while trying to use them and at most one wall in the way.The comfort and sound quality more than makeup for my mild disappointment with the battery life. I also do not see how giving longer battery life would be possible without sacrificing the small size necessary for comfort while side sleeping. I strongly recommend these headphones for anyone who cares about getting high quality sound while trying to sleep.

In all honesty…I cannot tell if there is any legit noise canceling effect. To me, that part of the product fails in comparison to noise canceling headphones that cover your whole ear. However…that being said, these still help me sleep. Why, you ask? Because the design of the earbuds fit in the ear canal pretty well, and I use the standard size that comes attached. I’d say these sit in the ear canal like comfortable earplugs but with Bluetooth technology. The outer construction is not as tiny as advertised but still smaller than any other pair I’ve owned. It’s comfortable enough to sleep on my side. I can still hear external noises from the street and neighbors through the thin walls of my apartment, but the ambient sound/music options never fail to put me to sleep, therefore I’ll say that this product works and fits the bill.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to love these earbuds. I was willing to try (I have smaller ears and I rely on earbuds for good sleep) but I was prepared for some serious deficits to make up for their compact size. Not only do these earbuds hold up to the promised performance and comfort but they blew away my expectations. If they had a longer battery life I would use them all day. When I wake up in the morning I forget I’m wearing anything in my ears, they also stay put despite my being a very “active” sleeper. I have never had a set of headphones stay put the whole night or feel completely undetectable for side sleeping. The noise reduction blocks out my partner’s snoring and even the occasional beagle alert from our furry co-sleeper. I abaolutely prefer this method to ANCs (I find the feedback sound far more disruptive than the ambient leakage).Sound quality is better than I expected, not quite audiophile quality but more than adequate for sleep. The lower tones come through beautifully no matter what I’m listening to and it does seem to help my brain make that shift to wind-down and sleep mode. There is also a noticeable latency in audio if used for watching TV. It’s not bad, just noticeable. And the bluetooth range is quite short compared to others. Fortunately neither is an issue for sleep purposes. The only feature I’ve been disappointed with has been the sleep detection. When it works it’s great! But most nights it thinks I’ve fallen asleep far too soon, which can be quite jarring and detrimental to someone already struggling to fall asleep. I have opted to use a manual sleep timer app instead (or just let my audio continue until the batteries run out).Other than “when” I fall asleep, the sleep tracking data seems to match what I get from my smart watch. Since I get more details from my other wearable I’ve opted to disable this feature in the Soundcore app. Maybe it helps with battery life?Bottom line: I would buy these again in a heartbeat and I am anxiously looking forward to a new generation of batteries that will make earbuds this comfortable for all day use.As I’m writing this I’m wearing my “daytime” headphones, my older Samsung Buds now seem painful and heavy by comparison. Their fit was never great on me but I was used to them. Not anymore!
