These are really great sounding well-built, solid speakers unfortunately the housing is too large for my application without modifying the door pillar. Too bad because they are great tweeters.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex coupe and they fit almost perfectly into my stock tweeter mounts. I literally just put a tiny amount of super glue on the bottom and they sit right in place and look factory and sound incredible! If you have my same car or have factory tweeters I literally just cut the plug for the factory tweeters and put the plug head on the new tweeters cable and it works perfectly. There is a hiss when no music is playing but you can’t hear it as soon as sound starts playing. It’s not a ground issue I’ve tried wiring them both ways same result but a little hiss never hurt anybody! 23 dollars and it elevated my sound drastically. Not only way louder highs but no longer crackling and scratchy sound at higher volume. Completely got rid of that. If you’re on the fence on getting tweeters don’t be, these made a massive difference and literally cost nothing. I installed myself with zero experience so anyone can!

Decided to replaced the stock tweeters in the a pillars after replacing door speakers and adding an amp. These fit right in place of the stock ones. I put a dab of hot glue to secure them , along with included resistors.The highs sound crisp and smooth. Before it was a little scratchy when hitting the highs. Definitely made an improvement and balanced out the system with the upgraded door speakers and subwoofer.Only negative was the rubber sleeves for the terminals are too short to fully insulate the terminals , running the risk of a short if not insulated with tape /heartstrings. No biggie I clipped excess wiring, soldered my wires and taped everything secure.

Or, perhaps what the little vehicle being restored needed.Tried several times to obtain just these little speakers…with frustrating results! Lots of return labels printed.In desperation visited a really cool little local business that installs aftermarket stereo, alarm etc. & was given a tour of what speakers would fit. Thinking the options were just a little too much led to Amazon….and Voila!,,,Here they were…the Exact speakers recommended by the local shop,,,and the cost was just under 1/2 the local business’s price….and no more searching…and they were in our mail in two days….Happy renovation lovers unite, have a glass of something smooth-perhaps a cigar and listen to the music…happy listening…jcmbPS: note the photos of the interior and open doors – all of which are detailed and fun pastimes – one does not enjoin these type efforts without real enthusiasm for learning lots of new and fun skills…Advice to follow; Always get as acquainted as possible by exercising a little down time to research avenues for an effort…and…and..in as much as this vehicle appears to have left the manufacturer’s hands last week-as such it deserved such time …time well spent…and the 24 years it has survived and done well are yet to continue.. I bought these specifically because they were a really close match to the tweeters in Polk T15 Bookshelf speakers. I’ve got them installed right now and I can say that they are an improvement over the stock ones. I did end up designing and printing a set of adapters. The file for that is on Printables,com, just search “Polk T15 Tweeter Replacement Adapter” and then you just print two of those, screw in the tweeter, and connect it through the T15’s original high pass filter. I’m really happy with the result!
