I have a very heavy s20 ultra and it still works for it as well..I also just use the pinch for my action cameras as well… outside the tallest point of tripod may struggle with a breeze.. but inside our shorter lengths this gamble is amazing price and quality for that price!

Excellent.

This is the first time I ever own such a device and it’s really cool to see it in motion. Pressing the button instantly stabilize my phone on its tripod, no matter what sort of action I am performing it will keep the same horizontal or vertical stand (there’s a button to switch between the two). Press the stabilize button again and it turns off, the phone instantly crooked to the side. I will definitely use this for my many events filming now!

Better than a selfie stick! This “gimbal” is not motorized, it uses the weight of the phone being off center to keep it hanging in the right direction. If you move too much, it will swing, but it is much better than a selfie stick picking up every motion of your hand. This multi-functional stick/stand has a lot of good features. It has a tripod built into the base, which is very convenient, plus it can extend to a decent height. There is a slot built in to the base that holds a mini remote for taking pictures from a distance via Bluetooth. Just extend the tripod a bit to get it out, all the way down locks it into place. The phone holder will fit a variety of sizes and has rubber grips to hold them securely. The grips line up with the buttons on my phone and I thought it would be a problem, but it’s not, especially with the remote, there’s no need to push any buttons on your phone. The remote is awesome, just don’t lose it! There are also knobs to lock the phone in place it you don’t want it to dangle. The box it comes in makes a nice carrying case for it, they took the time to design it with shaped foam so everything is secure and won’t break. All in all, this is a great addition to phone photography and might be all you need in this compact design.

Using this with an S23U and can now spend more time on the moment instead of on the camera. Works great with smooth and fast response. To use the included remote, I did have to change side button settings, which I preferred my own way, and is the reason for 3 stars with remote. Since the S23U has a pen remote already, not that big of a deal here but something others might need to be aware of.

QUICK SUMMARY: Very nice gimbal stabilizer does what it’s supposed to do. It enables better-looking videos by creating less jittery videos using just a normal selfie stick.BACKGROUND: Funny enough, I didn’t select this item because it had a gimbal stabilizer. I was actually looking for a sturdy, very portable tripod for my iPhone. When I learned that this has a gimbal stabilizer, I realized that I could actually use an item like this whenever I’m making a selfie video and want to have a better, more cinematic feel to my videos. I took this item to the beach today to make some videos, and the results were very good. I really like this item! But I am a little frustrated by a few things.WHAT I LIKE:- The gimbal stabilizer works as designed- The resulting videos look better because they reduce the jitter- It has a convenient, Bluetooth-enabled remote control for snapping photos. The remote control is conveniently designed to be stored on the tripod stem.- Very easy to extend and collapse the extension segmentsWHAT COULD BE BETTER:- The clamps for securing a smartphone onto the stick are over-engineered, making it difficult to add a smartphone because the clamps have SO MUCH tension on them. I wish they weren’t so hard to open.- I find the power-on button on the selfie stick to be more troublesome to use than if there were just a power-on switch. You have to keep the power-on button depressed for a couple of seconds for the stick to power-up; a simple press of the button won’t do it.- I can’t remember (and so I have to find and read the instructions) how to change the stabilizer so it stabilizes a landscape-oriented smartphone vs. portrait-oriented smartphone. I wish this was more intuitive.

Myself and my kids have used this to vlog while walking the paths near our home and it works great. No very heavy and very simple to use!

Years ago before the smartphone, the only way to get something like this when making videos with a camcorder would be to buy a prosumer version of Hollywood’s Steadicam (the “jr”) for hundreds of dollars. Now everyday consumers can get many of the same benefits for the price of a couple of fast food meals. As someone with deep experience in A/V production, I was immediately very impressed by this little piece of tech. It operates well, and the built-in extendable mini-tripod is a very functional bonus. It paired immediately with my iPhone and Samsung S21. Includes complete (if printed very small) operating instructions. There is a very short learning curve. This knocks it out of the park for value and function and is worthy of my rare 5/5 stars, even without a domestic US warranty (which is typical for no-name Chinese products). My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.

I have a rather expensive gimbal – similar to this – that I bought a few years ago. It is a great device. While this isn’t quite as advanced as that one in terms of bells and whistles, it is still quite amazing what this can do and for an equally amazing price. And what it CAN do is the single main reason people buy a gimbal in the first place: it can stabilize your shots. If you want to stabilize your shots, this will put you a LOT closer to the big leagues. It really works, and honestly, a LOT of people really need this. Shaky video is very, very difficult to watch. This solves that problem. It’s also handy for static shots, since it can reduce camera blur for those, too. If you want better photos and videos, here you go.I have no idea how they can provide technology like this at such a modest price. But I can say this: get it!Recommended.

I record a lot of videos for social media and I’ve found this works great to stabilize video with my Canon G7X MKII. So far it’s been an awesome addition to my video creation process. The tripod is nice for free standing videos and when I’m on the go the stabilizer makes holding the camera much easier.
