We find out how to claim 1,00 free in-game gems as a thank you for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel reaching 20 million total downloads.
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, the cross-platform, digital version of the iconic trading card game, was only released in January 2022, and hit ten million downloads just a few weeks later. Its popularity is clearly not waning, still, as Konami has just announced that figure has now reached a whopping 20 million. To celebrate, the developer is giving away even more free gems in-game, as a thank you for helping them hit this milestone.
YuGiOh Master Duel hits 20 million downloads
Konami is celebrating as Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel hits 20 million downloads in less than two months. The game, if you’re unfamiliar, is based on the classic Yu-Gi-Oh TCG, and is available on pretty much any platform you can think of, making it super accessible. Much like the upcoming Pokémon TCG Live, as well, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel might take away some of the old-school charm of the physical TCG, but does make it a whole lot easier to keep your deck together and organised. What’s more, it can be enjoyed completely free-to-play (especially when there’s giveaways like this to enjoy!), so if you’re new to the franchise, you can try it out without having to shell out on card packs.
How to claim 1,000 free Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel gems
Thankfully, claiming your in-game gems is a simple process. All you need to do to earn them is log in. Much like the last Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel giveaway, just login and head to the Missions section from the main menu to claim your reward for playing. In case you’re wondering, 1,000 gems is enough to buy you ten booster packs, or the Gold Duel Pass if you’ve not already got it.
