Movie meaning
Movie is probably a word that doesn’t need defining here. Whoever you are, whatever you do, you’ve likely seen at least a movie or two in your lifetime. Named as such due to being “moving pictures”, movies – or films, motion pictures, flicks etc – have been around since before 1895, when the Lumiere brothers first started projecting their films to screen for audiences. And, thus, the movie was born.
