Upcoming Redmi smartphone leaks – camera design, screen, chip & more

[ad_1]

Chinese manufacturer, Redmi, has been in the news for positive reasons in recent times. Its latest series, Redmi Note 11 series is doing so well in the market. The company recently announced that since the inception of the Redmi Note series in 2014, the series has sold over 240 million smartphones which is incredible. However, the company will not stop its development. Today, popular Chinese tech blogger, @DCS revealed the details of an unnamed Redmi smartphone.

According to him, many Xiaomi smartphones this year will have a similar design. He further claims that the camera module of the upcoming Redmi smartphone is just like that of the Xiaomi 12. This Redmi smartphone also comes with a center single punch-hole LCD display as well as the classic side fingerprint sensor.

Although this smartphone may be a flagship product, it will most likely be a mid-range smartphone. This is because it comes with an LCD display. Most of Redmi’s flagships come with OLED screens. Thus, this device may be a mid-range smartphone considering its display. However, other aspects of this smartphone seem to have flagship specs.

The leak from @DCS also reveals that this new Redmi smartphone will support a new FHD+ display with a 120Hz high refresh rate screen. It will also come with a single center punch-hole as well as a right-angle middle frame. The chip will be a Snapdragon 5G processor and this device will come with a 5000 mAh battery that supports a 67W super fast charge. 67W has become the standard solution for Redmi smartphones.

Redmi usually uses the LCD screen for its mid-range series such as the Redmi Note series and the Redmi digital series. Take the Redmi Note 10 Pro released in the first half of last year as an example. This phone uses a high refresh rate LCD screen with a screen size of 6.6 inches. The company considers this display to be a “flagship LCD screen”. It supports 6-speed variable speed adjustment, including 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. The display also supports a total of 6-speed frame rates, intelligently matching the usage scenarios while saving power saving.

However, the Redmi Note 11 series is a bit different. Despite the fact that the entire series uses mid-range Dimensity chips, the Pro models come with flagship OLED displays. Only the regular Redmi Note 11 uses an LCD screen.  After nearly a year, a new Redmi LCD screen phone is about to debut, which may be the Redmi Note series or Redmi digital series products. According to Redmi’s ultimate cost-effective positioning, the price of the new phone is worth looking forward to.
