Easy to read screen, with all the features needed in a fitness watch. The battery life is OUTSTANDING, getting more than a week out of each charge. Lots of good watch faces, and the health tracking app is excellent.

Got this brand new model because my Vivosmart 4 watch band finally broke. I didn’t really want to go back to a watch form factor after wearing bands for many years. But this one is super light weight and I can wear it anywhere, even in the water. The battery lasts for days. You can download the Connect IQ app and customize the watch, including adding new features and faces. Interestingly, you can create a custom face in both the IQ app, and on the watch itself, although the options are not the same and results are not consistent.Pros:- Great screen, highly visible in varying light- Good battery life. Much better than the old vivosmart 4, seems like at least a week.- GPS – seems to work well enough on walks/runs I’ve done.- Nice selection of exercises built in. I’ve only used walk/run/swim so far. The app has been trying to get me to upload personalized running plans and workouts. Just haven’t got to that yet either.- User interface is _mostly_ easy to use, once you figure it out.Cons- Extra info on faces (steps, heartbeat etc), and user interface has very small fonts. It’s not a big device after all. But those of us who can’t focus up close have a hard time seeing the small things without the glasses- Another weird charger connector. Next version should be able to charge wirelessly. Those other guys do it.- The included band is pretty utilitarian and I already see wear around where the buckle rubs on it. At least it’s replaceable with standard sized bands.Overall I am happy with this watch so far.

Fantastic watch and battery life. The data captured is spot on with my LifeFitness equipment. Fitbit’s heart rate was never accurate. This fine watch is extremely accurate…all the time. The watch face is clearly visible. Many watch faces to choose from on the fly….you can load many watch faces on the actual watch and toggle between them. The amount of data available to you seems endless. The Garmin Connect App was a little buggy syncing at first until I updated the watch to the latest firmware. All is great. The data is laid out in a very nice easy to read manner. Lot’s to see if you want to see it.The Garmin Connect IQ app allows you to download custom watch faces which allow you to choose what fields you want to see on the watch face…ex Heart rate, Calories burnt, Distance, Weather/Temperature, battery life, steps…etc.Very versatile piece that is the most accurate watch that I’ve had so far. 11 + day battery life…and I use this thing all the time.I would definitely buy this again.

I have had this for almost a year now. I’ve not had any issues with it. Love that I can change the face to fit my needs and track what I want to track. They have several apps that you can put on the watch to use for different activities like cycling, golfing. I haven’t really gotten it wet yet. Out of habit, I take it off before showering, swimming, etc. My other fitness watches were not water resistant/proof. To me it is a nice size. People mistake it for an apple watch. My battery life has been excellent between charges. I go anywhere from 7 to 14 days between charges and that usually depends on my activity as well as what the level is when I decide to charge it. Charges quickly as well. I don’t have some things constantly monitor, like the O2, and that helps as well with the battery life, I’m sure. Depending on what watch face you use, some info may be too small to read if you use reading glasses and don’t have them on. I get notifications for my iPhone and can read the text and see who’s calling but cannot respond to call or text from watch. I’m good with that as it gives me the freedom to not feel like I have to stop what I am doing to answer. The bands are easy to change out as well.

I’m a big fan of Garmin fitness watches. The Venu Sq2 is my third Garmin – the prior two still work, but I needed more battery life now I’ve started to do more cycling. I also didn’t want to spend a small fortune on the watch. The Venu Sq2 has a lot of bang for the buck. The battery lasts for a week even with multiple cycling trips. Some nice improvements I noticed:- The display is crisper than prior watches – even on dim, I have no problem reading the face.- The Venu recognizes sleep hours and does not light up when I move my wrist (my husband appreciates not being blinded by the watch in the middle of the night!)Like my other Garmin watches, it’s waterproof, tracks my steps, and workout intensity.

I bought this to replace my earlier version. This series beats my old version hands down. Screen is clear and tough. (I am not kind to my watches). The functions are great and GPS is much better and faster to track than old version. I am glad I bought this

Running is the least that I do but this manages just about every activity you can think of and it does it well. I do a lot of workouts and mud runs and this thing keeps up. Very happy with the purchase.

I use this watch for keeping health stats which are updated to my Garmin Connect app via Bluetooth. This is about my fourth Garmin watch!

I spent all night adding music and just trying to figure out the watch in general. My only downfall is I bought a separate case to go with the watch and it seems like the buttons are hard to press because it so small. Also, the screen always go to sleep after barely 10 seconds. I need to figure out how to fix that because its annoying
