It’s the brightest on the market, but at this price it works really well. Just don’t expect it to show up very well on a sunny day without some blackout curtains. Picture looks great and even the built in speakers do a nice job! (sounds so much better with a cheap sound bar.) Remote also is really nice!

much bigger than i thought. This is my 3 projector in the house and it seems that the bigger they are the more quality picture and sound they have. This one is superior to my other projectors. It was easy to set up and even at a screen size larger than 210 (close to 300) picture quality is still good. I can see the screen in the day time with bright light and it gets better as night gets closer. The machine emits a white noise type of sound as it is working which is not a big deal. I was able to hook up speakers, hdmi switch, ps5, fire stick to this and it works great. I have no problems with them. It comes with a remote that works within range. Very handy. My hubby and I dont use tv monitors anymore. This projector is a much better value for us.The only thing I’m looking for is a universal projector mount for this. The two i have do not align properly which sucks. Please tell me which mount works with it.

The media could not be loaded. I have an older projector that I had been using to show movies to the my (and the neighborhood) kids in my driveway on summer nights during the covid lockdown. Even though that unit was only a couple of years old I know how quickly technology moves. This projector can run at 4k and will also project onto a much larger screen than my old one. I was concerned about how bright the image would be (which impacts how early at night you can start showing movies) but this one seems to be plenty bright despite their claims. I honestly can’t believe how much more affordable these have gotten. At the advertised price I feel this unit is a steal. and while RCA is marketing this as a home theater unit more for indoor use, I think this would also work fine outdoors so long as it’s after sunset. It is heavy so I would not consider this to be a ‘portable’ unit (although you could use it outdoors). I ordered a portable screen to use with this, but in the pictures you can see how well this works even on an interior wall (complete with orange peel texture and off-white paint no less). The bulb is rated for 50,000 hours and I was impressed with how well this worked in my basement even with other lights on as well as in my garage in mid afternoon. I was a little skeptical at first based on all the claims of ‘works best in darker environments’ but as you can see, even with the lights on it’s very easy to see the image. One of these (with a screen) is still a lot cheaper than one of those ginormous flat-screen TVs even with as cheap as they’ve gotten, so that might be an option if you’re concerned with square footage on screen size. The built in speakers are plenty adequate for what they are (although I would hook up some active PA speakers for movies if you can). Overall I am very happy with this unit and think for less than $300 you will be too.

I switched from my traditional TV to a projector in my living room about a year ago. I have enjoyed the large screen and ability to retract it, but the projector with sometimes hard to see during the day, especially when the sun was shining through the window on the front door. I was happy to get a chance to try this one out, because it is much higher quality than the one I have been using. You can see the difference in brightness of projectors are shining at the same screen at the same time (see picture). In addition to picture quality, the audio on this projector is much better, too. It’s not as good as the sound bar, but you can hear it clearly. There is one audio-related downside: the flip screen button on the remote is right next to the volume. Unless I actually look at the buttons, I hit the flip screen, which is obviously annoying and all you wanted to do was hear better. Since I use a sound bar, this isn’t really relevant for my purpose, just wanted to share.One thing to note is that this projector requires a sturdier mount with four attachment points (see image).I am really happy with this projector and would recommend it for anyone who wants some thing a little nicer than the entry-level model.

This projector is nice and simple but great! Keystone adjustments and fine-tuning focus are simple. The remote is needed for keystone, and focus is done by turning the lens. This projector has great sound quality. I have yet to add a sound bar when using it in my living room. I do not even max the volume on it, either. The projector has plenty of options as far as plugging devices into it. I’ve used my Firestick with it, and I have no trouble at all. I do with this projector had Bluetooth connectivity/wifi, but other devices can be plugged in and supported that do, so that’s a workaround. If you want something simple and straightforward, this is a great projector. It is bright enough with lights on and the window open. I was slightly worried about that when I read the description, but it’s been great.

This is my first experience with a Home Theatre it was great, picture clarity was very good, brightness and definition are great, to be a projector the quality is excellent. Can connect to external speakers. It has a very affordable price, I recommend this Home Theatre Projector for all the reasons exposed above,

This is a must have especially since the weather is getting warmer. This is perfect for backyard movie night. The picture is clear and crisp. This is a tried and true brand. Every home should have one. This is a great value for the money.

I brought it to a friends clubhouse were we were having a party as we were watching the basketball games. They have a 65” tv there but we set the projector up where we filled most of one wall it was like a movie theater we added a powered speaker to the mix and the projector did it’s job we had a great time. Can’t wait for the next football season.
