Came to this projector after being disappointed in the Viewsonic PX701-4K’s performance. As a 1080p projector, downscaled 4K content looks miles better on this unit than at any attempt for native 4K on the competition. Color reproduction is gorgeous out of the box, with excellent color depth, dark and light handling, and brightness. Motion is handled very well in both gaming and movies. Highly recommend this unit over anything else under $2,000.

The best purchase of my life. Trust me this is my 8th projector now all the way from 100-1000$.This is one of the best under 1k.

LED bulb really shines in this application for a -theater, half-living room setup. Instant brightness and lower heat output are a big win.The projector seems to do some dynamic scene color adjustment to achieve better colors, noticeable when watching naturalistic scenes that jump back and forth. Might bother you, just warning.Other thing is the rainbow wheel effect is significantly reduced on this one, according to my subjective experience. I’m not particularly sensitive, but I definitely noticed it more on my ht2050.BenQ has another winner here.

Great colors and clarity. The only complaint I have with benq projectors is their audio connectivity. No Bluetooth, so you have to accept the built in speakers or run a line across the room to your audio setup (assuming you’re awake most of us and have your speakers in front of you)

Easy to install, configure, and really enjoying the projector. Something you should realize is that the picture size is proportional to how far the projector is from the screen, and that proportion is fixed (at least for this I don’t know how to change it).

We’re blown away by this projector. The color reproduction and image quality is just amazing, it’s very quiet, and the speakers are surprisingly good. We love it!

Upgraded from a 15 year old 720p Panasonic projector. It was a great projector and high end for it’s time, but this is truly a great upgrade. I didn’t want to deal with long hdmi cables having issues with 4k signals so I went FHD and it looks great, especially from my old one. Colors are fantastic. Small thing but the boot up time is nearly instant. With my old projector you had to wait about 30 seconds for the lamp to warm up–not so with this guy. I do see the rainbow effect, but interestingly it’s most prominent with white text against a black backround. During a movie it’s very easy to forget about. I highly recommend plugging it in and playing it against a wall before permanently installing it to see if it is a dealbreaker for you. A g for a 1080p projector is a lot, but I’d rather have a quality FHD image than a s*** 4k one. Overall fantastic.BTW why on earth is the LED version sharing reviews with the OG? It’s very confusing.

I paired this with the “outdoor” 150″ screen from Mdbebbron 150 inch Projection Screen here on Amazon. Set it up tied to a curtain rod that has blackout blinds already on it.So far, watching it at night it is exhilarating! Feels like I am at the movies in my own living room. Huge picture.Paired easily with my Fire TV HDMI stick, which paired easy with a basic Yamaha bluetooth soundbar/Subwoofer. Wireless setup was easy! Man things have changed since last time I tried to set up a home theater.Looking forward to taking the setup outside when it finally warms up in Central Oregon High Desert, which is still a ways off. :/

Had an Epson 2030 and tired of changing bulbs. Love this Benq with LED. Great image and fast setup. Removed the old projector and screwed the new one on the ceiling and within 10 minutes, everything was done. TV night was back on track. Also noted that this projector is soooo quiet. Fan noise is so low. Very pleased.
