The layout is similar to classic controllers from other consoles, with a full D-pad (a major plus for fighting and platforming games) and well-spaced buttons. Honestly, this is the best controller for the Nintendo Switch that there is and it is a huge upgrade to the controllers that come with the console when you buy it.What makes this controller so good? Well, theres a few things:Quality: You can tell from the moment that you pick up this controller that it is made of quality materials and is going to last. Everything about the controller feels good from the material it is made of, down to the action of the buttons which are all have very crisp action.Battery life: The battery life on this controller is fantastic. I typically recharge it after several gaming sessions and have yet to run into battery issues. It comes with a high quality USBC cord that will last just as long as the remote.Comfort: One of the biggest downsides to the controllers that come with the console is that they are too small and uncomfortable. You just can’t move like you can with a regular full sized controller like this one. This makes the gaming experience so much more enjoyable.If you have a Nintendo Switch and you really want to enjoy the games you play, this is an absolute must have. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed it so much, I decide to get another one for playing with a partner/friend.

I’m pretty blown away by this controller. It’s handsdown one of the most comfortable controllers I’ve ever used. It’s pricey but worth every penny. I was having a hard time using the joycons. I kept hitting buttons I didn’t mean to hit and also was just very uncomfortable after a few hours. This eliminates all of that along with precise controls, the dpad is excellent as well as the analogs. I’ve always stood by Sony and there dual shocks, but I think Nintendo has them beat here. Pairing with a switch is super ez, just plug it into the USB port, let it charge up and unplug it for wireless action, and your done. A must have for switch owners!

I got the switch on release day one.Recently the joycon were particularly bad in terms of losing connection. I made it worse by hiding my switch behind the TV, it looks so neat with just the OLED TV on the wall, so I started looking at options, I considered buying a PlayStation controller adapter, I liked the appeal of having one controller for all (how it is not a out of the box thing, cross platform controller compatibility?) but I was concerned it would be hacky like stop working the next day,so I went for the switch pro controller and I was right. It looks so sturdy and the battery (well compare to 5 years old joycons) is out of this world.

I don’t have huge hands, but still find the included switch controller too small. I bought this controller and few months ago, and it is much better in fit and feel, and the battery seems to be a lot better also. No problems with joystick drift or anything else. It is my favorite switch controller. My son got an aftermaket brand wired controller, and he says that you can tell this one is made better as soon as you pick it up. No issues except the price, but it’s a case of getting what you pay for.

Purchased this Pro Controller after previously purchasing off-brand Switch controllers. Though they were fine until I played intense games that required zero lag. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has no lag and is of high quality.
