Nintendo Joy-Con Wheel (Set of 2) – Nintendo Switch

Since getting the Nintendo Switch, it was only a matter of time before Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would end up in our home. Naturally, since driving a kart requires a wheel, I ended up being finagled into buying the set. The Nintendo Joy-Con Wheels come in a set of two, and work perfectly with the Switch’s controllers. The wheels hold the Joy-Cons snugly and securely, and make controlling the drifting (SR button) and item throwing (SL Button) feature of the game much easier to use. The wheels are small, much like the Joy-Cons, and are about 5″ in diameter (or about the size of a DVD). They are very lightweight and feel sturdy. Being only a few dollars more than knock offs, I felt these were good value for the ease of controls and comfortable feel. Overall, a great accessory to get for all your driving Nintendo Switch needs.

This wheel set is a small addition the makes a sizable improvement to the Mario Kart game. The increased area provided by the wheel makes holding the relatively small controller much easier.The control buttons are easily reached, although only two are different from the controller’s own buttons. Those are the two top ones— and both work great.Everything feels more natural. Turn the wheel to steer. Tip the wheel downward to speed up a landing when soaring from one place to another.If you had the Wii-U wheel, this is somewhat smaller, but has eliminated the hassle of threading the hand strap through a hole in the wheel. The new design simply has the controller pressed into the wheel and you are ready to go.This is a fairly inexpensive addition that adds more than its share of fun to the Mario Kart experience.This was an easy one to mark 5-Stars. And, note that each box includes two wheels, so only one item must be ordered for two players.

… glad to have them in black to match our Switch. I wish the Switch had come in purple & orange – my guy has a phone case, headphones, bluetooth speaker and pro•controller in orange & black. I have a phone case, headphones, bluetooth speaker and pro•controller in purple & black – well, my pro•controller is purple & white … We will likely get the purple & orange joycons soon•ish … but our Switch, steerling wheels, joycons are all black & gray …

These wheels were for my grandson’s birthday present. He was so happy with them. They’re made great, high quality of materials and the colors are applied perfectly too. They should last for years. The price I paid was great and a what a value ! I’m very impressed with this purchase.
