I bought this one because the previous charger I had purchased was a cheap counterfeit and very quickly it stopped functioning. I needed a good replacement and the one manufactured by Nintendo is the most solid and reliable one you can find anywhere. The build quality is great, you can’t go wrong with the price and it’s the same one that you get out of the box from a new DS Lite product, enjoy!Note: the charger comes in a plastic sleeve ready to go and not with the original packaging as displayed. regardless product works flawlessly

I see that a lot of the recent reviews have had bad experiences with this product/seller.I’d just like to throw my experience out there. I put my order in 4 months back.Product arrived quickly, and exactly as described. The official DS Lite Charger, the one that comes inside the DS Box when you buy the console.The charger was missing it’s box, but other than that it was brand new and has worked perfectly since.To everyone that is having problems, double check everything – as the official chargers are very easy to identify. They are also backed by Amazon Fulfillment Guarantee, as well as being backed by Nintendo themselves if you have any problems.If you have any further questions or comments, please let me know and I’ll get back to ya.

This is a genuine Nintendo DS Lite Charger. It did come in alternate packaging with a note from Amazon explaining that they’re working to make less of an impact on the environment, therefore less packaging. I could care less about the packaging I’m not going to keep anyway. The charger itself is genuine and fit my DS Lite perfectly and charges it perfectly.I somehow lost my original charger but this one came in the mail quickly so I was only off my pokemon game for a couple days =P

Since this is exactly the same charger you get with the Lite, it’s a great back up for your other one. I thought I left mine at work and it got trashed or stolen, so I ordered a new one. Well now I got 2 of them since I found the other one stuffed in a pocket in my bag. I couldnt tell ya which is which now since they both work exactly the same. Why settle for a cheaper brand that could break or not even work. Stick with this one if you really need to get another charger.I also like how the prongs fold in so they arent sticking out when you are traveling with it.This does not work with the old DS, just the Lite.
