I burn through headsets and controllers like it is my damn job, they are always breaking on me… I’ve gone through several of the more expensive headsets within the last couple of years, but this cheaper pair has lasted 9 months already and they still work great. The sound is awesome, the speaker/mic is excellent, they’re comfortable, and I never have issues hearing others, hearing the game, or other people hearing me. They have been far more reliable and durable than the more expensive headsets ever were.It just plugs into your controller, whoch is wireless anyway, so it’s not like you are stuck six feet away from your PS5 or anything. It eats up the battery on your controller a little faster, since the battery us literally being used for both the controller itself and the headphones, but it is not a dramatic change.My solution to this, was buying a ten foot charging cable for the controller, since I’m usually pretty close to my tv while playing anyway, and just always having it plugged in while I play. That way, I’m almost ten feet away and my controller never dies, AND my headset is plugged in for maximum ambience as I play.If I need to get up and grab a drink and don’t feel like taking the headset off becsuse I am in the middle of a conversation, I can just unplug the charging cable from the controller and just keep the controller in my hand and the headset on my head. I can literally go anywhere in the house while doing this and the other party can still hear my clearly.The only drawback is your ears may get a little sore after a very long game marathon, but it takes a while. Like, a long while… Like, 6-8 hours in, when you should be getting off and taking a break anyway. But they are generally quite comfortable unless you have giant ears that go beyond the little ear cups.

I’ve had it for two years now and they still kick it good. I upgraded to this from a creative HS60. Not that the creative was bad, but it’s a wired headset and when I started working from home I constantly step on the wire with the chair wheels and that made me nervous that I’d damage the wire and be without a headset. also it’s made with leather and since I didn’t have AC at the time, my sweat damaged the leather and was constantly leaving flakes everywhere. So this headset provided me with a 9/10 noise cancelling mic, wireless freedom, sound adaptability and breathability that I needed. I still sweat, but much less so and since the ear pads are removable I can clean them and be good to go. One of the things I don’t like is that the mic has to be all the way back to be mute, so the slightest forward, it will be on. I don’t have the right length of the battery, but I know you’ll spend hours using it before it starts the blipping sound that tells you to charge it (which by the way it’s not annoying). And it has NO noise cancelling for you ears at all, so if you like to be aware of your surroundings, it’s perfect; but if you want to be fully immersed, this is not good.

I game across multiple consoles and PC, and I mostly play team-based games. This means that sound and mic quality are important to me. This headset nails both of those. HyperX (Kingston, for anyone who isn’t super into PCs) makes high quality products, and this is no exception.The sound is great in-game, and even for general listening. I tested these with ~1 hour of a recommended Spotify playlist, and the sound is reasonably balanced (the bass is NOT too strong, as some reviews claim). For music, these sound like any other decent noise isolating headphones. Not studio quality, but not the $5 pair you bought from Wish in 2017, either. Good sound. In-game, I’ve yet to find a scenario where the drivers can’t handle audio and voice chat. The volume control on the cord is super convenient (albeit unmarked, as to which way makes it louder), and the mute button is intuitive as well.The microphone is dope. It’s just really, really good. Most headsets at this price range have garbage mics, because the manufacturer knows that parents will buy it for their kids, and call it a day. If you like good mic quality and also not spending over $100, this is it, chief. I joined no fewer than 20 random groups, told them I was conducting a “study,” and asked outright, “How’s my mic sound, guys?” Overwhelmingly, the result was “sounds great.” Look up a review on YouTube if you want to hear it yourself, but I’m really impressed by the mic quality in this headset.Overall, the quality of the product versus the amount you spend on makes for a VERY good value. Strongly recommend.

I would totally recommend this wireless headset from HyperX! I bought it for my ps5 after I swore I’d never buy another wireless headset from my turtlebeach and sony wireless headset failures! Those headsets cost over $100 each and were awful to use. I bought this headset on sale for $50 and it works very well. Sound is great, friends hear me on game chat, the headset is comfortable. What else is there? The headset beeps when it needs charging. You can still use the headset while its charging. There’s no static or interference from other devices. No wires to plug into the controller. And its a USB C port for charging. I haven’t tried it on my xbox x just yet but would be surprised if it didn’t work just the same. Wait for a sale and get it for cheap like I did!

The build quality is not really the best, with them being plastic, but the sound quality I have found to be fantastic! I prefer these headphones over my 2nd gen Airpods. the sound knob is finnicky and the mute switch plastic piece broke off, but I havent had a need to touch that piece that goes there.

I’ve owned all the top tier 200-300 dollar wireless gaming headsets going all the way back to 2010. These are loud, have the “turn mic boom up to mute” feature I love. They are lightweight, which over time I have realized is probably the most important feature for a comfortable headset. The battery lasts forever. If I average a few hours a night I don’t have to charge for weeks. It works flawlessly with PC with no additional setup. I use these as my main headset on PS5 and they are outstanding. All around I have to say these are the perfect headset I’ve been searching for all these years. The range is also crazy long. I use these in my 3000SQFT shop, and I can walk all around my large metal building, go out and check something in my truck, come back and go to the other side to check my plants, and all the while still be connected and talking to my party on my PS5 setup at the office. The value is insane for 60$. I’ve had the top tier Steel series, many 300$ sets of turtle beach and logitechs. These are the best I’ve ever had. Battery, Range, Sound Quality, Mic quality, comfort, and the boom up to mute feature. So simple to use and they JUST WORK as Todd Howard would say.

This is just as legitimate as the normal $89.99 PC pro, it’s just labeled as Playstation. I’m telling you before this market blows up. Get this for PC!!! Before they catch on. Plus I didn’t want to pay $89.99 for the same product in Red 🙃
