I just plugged the TPlink UE300c into my macbook and it worked out of the box in my M2 MBP! No drivers or downloads needed. Im running Mac OS Ventura 13.5 and have had zero problems. I’ve run the UE300c off my 5G AT&T Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro, TPlink AV1000 Powerline, and Linksys AX Wifi 6 router and get solid 1 Gbps connections. I have about 30ms reduced ping as well using this adapter, so my web browsing is much more responsive. I just moved to a 3 story apartment complex, despite running a 5GHZ AX only network, my wireless performance is horrible. I have been using an Anker 7 in 1 USB hub with 1G etherne to without issues and the performance seems identical to both, but the TP link is so much smaller, smaller and runs way cooler. For the sale price of $10, just grab it. Its worth having and just comes in handy when on the go or fighting your apartment neighbor’s wifi traffic.

I bought this to get the maximum connection speed to my smart TV (smart TVs almost always come with a 100 Mbps maximum NIC card), and for a more stable connection than Wi-Fi could provide. I shut off the TV, plugged this in, plugged in the ethernet cable, turned the TV back on and now I get the speed I pay for! My smart TV is a Sony TV from 2021 if that helps anyone.

I bought 2 of these items to plug into gadgets for better (wired) reception; as opposed to my congested wi-fi airwaves. They worked perfectly everywhere I tried them, including an old Asus Chromebit, and a Roku TV. Thats right, that particular Roku TV did not come with an ethernet port; but it does have a USB port on the back. I just plugged this devise in, and it worked! No messing around, no nothing!

I used this adapter with my macbook pro and the connection was fast and seamless. Plugged directly into both my router and then my extender as a test and immediately was presented with a wired connection. No dropped packets, steady connection.

Truly plug and increase throughput instantly. I have an 11 year old Win 10 system with an i7 Processor (4 core, 8 thread)/16 meg RAM/500 GB SSD. The bottleneck was the 100 Mbps Ethernet connection. Just got this little gem plugged it into a usb 3 port and saw the difference. I only have a 500 Mb ISP connection. Before with the 100 Mb port I got ~85 Mb throughput. After plugging this in I expected to do some config, but it just enabled and did its stuff. I didn’t even bring down the browser that was showing 85 Mb on Fast . com. Just did a retest and 480 Mb! All test so far are between 440 & 480 Mb. My only question is, why didn’t I do this sooner?

So, I’ve got the newest and best MacBook Pro. I’m a graphic designer and work primarily with huge photo and video files that I have to download/upload. Why on earth with our 1 gig internet I was only pulling 150 mbps, I have no idea. My husband on his windows machine could pull 600 mbps. So, after getting really frustrated, decided to just grab this and connect to the ethernet port in our office. Plugged into wall, then into the side of my MacBook, turned off wifi, and boom! Speeds close to 1 gig. Can’t believe it’s this inexpensive to fix an issue that was causing me daily headaches. Comes with a 2 year warranty which is awesome, but really over kill for this price. Soooo happy!

This part number (UE300) and only this part number provides a solution for providing high-speed Gigabit internet for my Sony XBR-55A9G 77 Inch TV through the TV’s USB port. This solves a big issue with local network streaming of movies via Plex. Highly recommended if this is your challenge!
